Wednesday came in quietly.
The kind of morning where the light through the curtain edge was soft and the city outside was already going but not yet at full volume.
Soorin was up before her alarm, which happened when her brain had decided it was done sleeping regardless of what the clock said. She lay there for a moment, ceiling, Tokyo, the specific weight of a day that had things in it, and then she got up.
Skincare. Got dressed. Packed the kit for a full day, the event hall in the morning, radio in the afternoon, the performance in the evening. Three different lighting situations, three different sets of needs. She organized for all of them in the order she would use them and zipped everything with the particular satisfaction of a bag that was properly loaded.
Her phone had a message from Daehyun.
[Lobby. 7:45. I found a place that does tamagoyaki near the station and I'm getting some before we load up, do you want one?]
