"It gets better," Manager Park continues. Clearly enjoying this. "Jay is a detective in a city called View District—"
"View," Taekyung interrupts flatly. "The character named Jay lives in View District."
"Yes."
"And they want LUMEN, whose main vocalist's stage name is JAY, to sing the opening theme."
"Correct. As a group," Manager Park clarifies. "But there's a specific request from the production team."
"What kind of request?" Haejin asks, almost afraid to know.
Manager Park grins wider. "Any lyrics directly referencing the character Jay should be sung by... Jay."
Silence.
Complete, stunned silence.
Then Doyun absolutely loses it. Laughing so hard he nearly falls out of his chair. "NO. That's too perfect. That's TOO perfect!"
