Lunch.
Everyone's gathered in the dining area. Buffet style. Casual.
Doyun grabs his food. Looks for a seat.
Sees an empty chair.
Starts heading toward it.
Then sees Sera moving toward the same spot.
'Nope. Not happening.'
He pivots. Grabs his plate. Moves to the opposite side of the table.
Squeezes himself between Taekyung and Minjae even though it's tight.
"Can you scoot?" he asks Taekyung.
"What—"
"Just scoot. Please."
Taekyung sees where Doyun was originally headed. Sees Sera sitting there now. Looking annoyed.
"Ah." He scoots. Makes room.
Doyun sits. Safely sandwiched between two members.
Sera's across the table. Her expression is cold now. The sweet act slipping.
During the meal, she tries again.
"Doyun, have you been working out more? You look really fit."
Her eyes travel down. Assessing. The same way they did during introductions.
That objectifying look.
Doyun's face goes cold. Shut down.
"No."
One word. Flat. No inflection.
