Chapter Twenty: Crushing Majin Buu!

Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Goten stood watching the scene from afar, shock evident on their faces.
Trunks, who just minutes ago was struggling to hold his ground against Majin Buu, was now striking him mercilessly, as if it were all just a game.
The sky shook with every blow Trunks landed, and the explosions from his punches and kicks echoed across the distant mountains.
Buu, once considered the nightmare of the universe, now appeared weak and defeated, crushed from every angle.
"Is… is this really the same Majin Buu?" Piccolo muttered seriously, his eyes widening with every move Trunks made.
Goten swallowed hard, his face full of shock: "Impossible… just a moment ago Buu would regenerate no matter how hard we hit him, and now… now he can barely restore his body!"
Goku placed his hand on his chin, observing the battle with focused eyes: "This is different… he's gone beyond normal Super Saiyan 3. His power now is far beyond anything we've seen."
Vegeta, meanwhile, stared deeply at his son. Pride surged within him as he watched Trunks crush the very monster they had struggled to stop.
Yet, amidst this pride, something else caught his attention… the smile on Trunks' face.
It was a cold, confident smile, possibly mixed with something else… enjoyment.
Trunks wasn't just fighting to defeat Buu; he was relishing every moment of overwhelming him, enjoying his absolute superiority.
"That little fool…" Vegeta muttered, pressing his arms together, "he's not just defeating Buu… he's toying with him."
He glanced briefly at Goku, who was watching intently, before allowing a faint smile: "Ha… that truly is my son."
Above them, Buu's scream rose as another kick from Trunks sent him crashing through an entire mountain before the smoke and debris erupted around him.
Yet even amid the dust and rubble… Trunks' laughter echoed through the battlefield.
Trunks laughed—a strange, fearless laugh filled with pure thrill.
The laugh made Majin Buu pause, staring silently as if time itself had frozen.
Despite his immortality, despite his body regenerating whenever it was destroyed, and despite his power usually increasing with every battle… he now felt pain.
Physical pain tore through his body, and internal anguish slowly crushed his pride.
"Impossible… how can a mere human crush me?"
This question gnawed at Buu's mind.
For the first time… he even considered fleeing.
But before he could take a single step—
Trunks suddenly appeared in front of him.
One kick, yet it hit like a meteor falling from the sky.
Buu's body slammed into the ground, forming a massive crater under the impact.
Dust filled the air, but Trunks' shining eyes pierced through the smoke.
At the bottom of the crater… Buu looked up in terror, while Trunks' deliberate steps closed the distance.
Step… then another step…
Each step was enough to make Buu shiver.
"B-Trunks…" he muttered faintly, trying to rise.
But Trunks' eyes showed no mercy.
His smile was cold, laced with disdain and boredom, as if saying: "Is that all you've got?"
With every passing second, Trunks' body trembled slightly.
The Super Saiyan 3 power tore through him.
An unbearable strain, as if his veins were burning from the inside.
Suddenly…
BOOOF!
A massive shockwave erupted from him, and his aura of Super Saiyan 3 collapsed instantly.
His hair shortened, reverting to the Super Saiyan 2 form.
"...!"
The scene froze for a moment.
Trunks still tried to maintain his smile, as if nothing had happened.
But Buu immediately sensed the change.
A cunning grin spread across his swollen face.
His energy surged again, and his shattered pride returned even stronger than before.
"Hehehe… tick… tick… tock… your time is up, human!"
With a terrifying laugh, Buu lunged forward with all his might, faster than ever before.
But Trunks didn't move to confront him…
Instead, he waved lightly, as if bidding him farewell, and vanished from his spot!
"What?!" Buu shouted, stunned.
He didn't understand what had just happened.
Moments later… Trunks reappeared far away, in front of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Goten.
The dust from his previous strike still lingered, yet he stood there as if he had never left.
"Yo…" he said with a faint, tired smile, raising his hand lightly as a greeting.
"...!"
Shock was written across everyone's faces.
Goten shouted: "Trunks…!? How—?"
Goku's eyes widened more than ever:
"This… this is Instant Transmission…! No… even faster… he modified it himself!"
They were witnessing the battle.
And Goku could tell that Trunks had improved his Instant Transmission, altering it so he could appear anywhere as long as he had placed his ki there during the fight.
Vegeta narrowed his eyes, staring at his son with a mixture of pride and concern:
"He's surpassed even Goku… but he still lacks endurance…"
Piccolo crossed his arms slowly, his voice serious as usual:
"He's frighteningly strong… but this proves that Super Saiyan 3 strains the body immensely."
At that moment, Trunks seemed to hide a faint sigh.
His body had returned almost fully to normal energy, with Super Saiyan 2 barely sustaining him.
Yet his smile didn't fade…
A smile full of challenge, as if everything that had happened so far was only the beginning.
