"Sophia?"
After he went upstairs, he found her lying on her side on the bed, not looking at him, not paying him any attention.
"Baby, what's wrong?"
He leaned over her, lowering his head close to her ear.
"Don't touch me. Stay away from me."
Sophia's tone was icy.
"Baby, did I do something wrong? You can tell me. Don't keep it bottled up. In the end, you're the one who'll feel bad."
The moment she saw him, the unfamiliar woman's voice from the phone echoed in her mind. She let out a cold laugh. "So it wasn't easy for you to come all the way back here to explain things to me, huh? Since you already have someone else, why come back at all? Why put on an act in front of me? Do you think I, Sophia, am a fool who deserves to be lied to?"
Lucas was completely confused. "Sophia, what are you talking about? I honestly don't understand."
"If you don't understand, then you should think carefully about whose fault it is."
