For two consecutive days, Sophia visited the hospital at regular intervals, taking care of Aurora with meticulous attention.
The more she cared for her, the more uneasy Aurora felt inside. To her, it seemed like Sophia was trying her best to make up for something, making sure she didn't feel the slightest discomfort.
The feeling of being on edge—Sophia could tell—was something Aurora was truly experiencing.
"Sophia, could you let me go out for a walk? I can't stand being in this hospital room any longer," Aurora asked.
"No, Mom, the doctor said you need to stay still, at least for the next two days. You need to rest properly," Sophia replied while preparing some fish soup.
"This is the fish soup that Mrs. Wilson spent four hours making for you, Mom. You need to finish it," she said, handing her the bowl.
Aurora nervously clutched the bed sheet.
"Then can you at least give me my phone? Can I play with my phone for a while?" Aurora asked.
