Nathan's eyes kept studying Ethan.
Ethan had been sitting there for quite a while, but the man across from him hadn't said a single word. It was starting to make him uneasy.
"Nathan, what's wrong? Is there something on my face?"
"Not really. It's just that I suddenly realized I might not actually know you at all. Every time we've met before, it all felt a little too coincidental."
For once, Nathan was actually thinking.
Ethan smiled faintly, hiding his true intentions as he let out a soft laugh. "What got into you today? Don't forget—we're sworn brothers."
"I never said we weren't brothers. I'm just curious. I came to see you today because of my dad. He told me to pass along that the cooperation can continue. But he never told me exactly what kind of cooperation you two have. So I'm confused. Can you tell me?" He spoke earnestly, looking straight into Ethan's eyes.
"Just some business cooperation," Ethan replied.
"That's all?"
