Sophia could easily tell this was Lucas's way of getting back at Harper.
Still, she knew Lucas wouldn't just drag someone in and tie them up for no reason—Harper must've come rushing over with something urgent, and Lucas had simply seized the chance for revenge.
Even though Harper didn't dare call him out, Sophia shot Lucas a sharp, accusing glare—a silent rebuke for bullying her friend.
Then she helped Harper sit down on the couch.
"What happened? "
"Olivia's gone abroad," Harper said breathlessly.
She had just heard the news—Olivia had called Dr. Tessa to say she wouldn't be coming back to the hospital. "She won't even be here for the stitches to come out. My guess? She's planning something big."
"Going abroad just means she's fixing her face," Sophia replied evenly. "Now tell me—what do you think of the script I gave you?"
