"I'm a legitimate member of the shareholders' meeting!" Aiden continued to argue, his voice full of defiance.
"I'm the largest shareholder," Lucas responded slowly, just enough to silence him.
His uncle was certainly an interesting character; sometimes, he couldn't figure out what Aiden was actually trying to do.
Aiden lost his temper. "Lucas, I came here to see you. I know there's been a misunderstanding between us, and I hope we can clear it up. Is that okay?"
"Clear it up? Uncle, I've already found the video of the car accident from a few years ago. Want to guess what I saw?"
He smirked coldly.
Aiden paused, taken aback. "Lucas…"
"Richard's still fine because he's not as greedy as you, Uncle. But remember, everyone's patience has its limits."
Lucas glanced at Aiden's new car. "A new Maybach? I guess your strength is more impressive than I thought."
Holding Sophia in his arms, Lucas turned and headed back toward the villa.
