Sophia froze for half a second before shoving him away with all her strength.
"Lucas! You—!"
He didn't even flinch. Instead, he gave that lazy, infuriating grin of his.
"You said you wanted to 'experience a man's kind of pleasure,'" he teased smoothly. "Well, right now, I'm the one enjoying it. But if you feel left out, I can make sure you enjoy it too."
He leaned closer, tapping a finger against his cheek.
"Go ahead," he said, voice low. "Right here."
"You—!"
Sophia was too angry to form words. Nothing she could say would match the sheer arrogance in front of her.
Lucas chuckled. "Relax. I'm kidding."
He turned, opened the mini fridge beside his desk, and pulled out—a small cake.
"Got it from that little bakery downtown," he said casually. "Waited in line for over an hour."
She narrowed her eyes. Lucas Hilton… doing something thoughtful?
Yeah, right.
"What are you really up to?"
