Chapter 62 - Episode 62 – “The Beginning of Forever”

Years passed, but the laughter in the palaces of Auroria and Baiyun never faded.

The kingdoms were now bound not just by alliance — but by family, love, and endless chaos… courtesy of the next generation.

---

In Auroria Palace, morning sunlight filtered through the windows, landing on a little boy who was currently climbing the curtains.

"XIAO JUN! GET DOWN FROM THERE RIGHT NOW!" a voice shouted.

It was Xiaoxi, looking every bit the same as before — still dramatic, still mischievous, only now with the addition of a golden crown slightly tilted on her head.

Her son, Xiao Jun, turned his head with a cheeky grin that looked exactly like hers. "But Mama, I'm training to be a hero! Heroes don't listen to rules!"

Xiaoxi gasped dramatically. "Oh no! Not another me!"

Behind her, Haoran entered the room holding a tiny girl in his arms — their daughter, Xiao An, calm and quiet, staring at the chaos with wide eyes.

Haoran sighed. "I told you… you can't mix your mischief into the royal bloodline."

Xiaoxi pouted. "You say that like it's a bad thing!"

Haoran (deadpan): "It is when your son tries to duel the royal cat with a spoon."

Xiaoxi burst out laughing, hugging her giggling daughter as Haoran watched, shaking his head but smiling softly.

Their family was chaos and calm blended perfectly — just like the two of them.

---

Meanwhile, far away in Baiyun Kingdom, peace and elegance reigned… or at least it tried to.

The palace gardens were filled with laughter as Prince Xiangyun was seen running — yes, running — after a small boy holding a stolen scroll.

"Yun'er! Come back here! That's an official document!" he called out.

The little boy just laughed and ran faster, waving the scroll above his head. "But Father! You said I should learn about the kingdom! I'm reading it!"

From the balcony, Lianhua watched with her gentle smile, resting her chin on her palm. "Like father, like son," she whispered fondly.

When Xiangyun finally caught the little one, he sighed — and then tickled him mercilessly until the boy's laughter echoed through the courtyard.

Lianhua joined them, the three of them falling into an embrace — warmth, love, and joy written all over their faces.

---

Months later, during the grand Festival of Unity, both royal families met again — the halls of Baiyun filled with laughter and teasing, just like old times.

Xiaoxi (hugging Lianhua): "Look at you! A graceful princess and a mother! Who would've thought?"

Lianhua (smiling): "And look at you. Still as dramatic as ever."

Haoran chuckled. "Nothing's changed."

Xiangyun smirked. "Except now we both have little versions of ourselves running around causing international incidents."

Xiaoxi winked. "That just means our kingdoms will never be boring."

Everyone laughed — the air filled with joy, family, and peace.

As night fell, the two couples stood on the balcony, watching the fireworks light up the sky — colors reflecting in their eyes, hearts content.

Haoran slipped his arm around Xiaoxi's waist.

Xiangyun intertwined his fingers with Lianhua's.

No wars. No secrets. No distance.

Just love — loud, messy, eternal love.

---

Years later, bards would sing of the Princess who tamed the Crown Prince,

and the Prince who fell for the girl of another land —

but to them, it was never about titles.

It was simply about finding home in each other.

And so, under the endless sky of two united kingdoms —

Haoran and Xiaoxi, Xiangyun and Lianhua —

lived their happily ever after,

with laughter echoing through generations to come. ❤️
