Lin Qiushi was looking at Baijie and thinking, what was the smell of her pheromones? even though it was faint but I've defiantly smelled it. "Can't sleep?" Ruan Baijie asked to the person who was staring at her face for long time. "Trying to sleep" said Lin Qiushi and turn the face to ceiling his face. Ruan Baijie took out her hand from the blanket and placed it on Lin Qiushi's waist, like trying to say just sleep I'm here don't worry about other things. After a while Lin Qiushi completely fell in asleep.
The next morning Lin Qiushi woke up and saw Ruan Baiji's face, as she woke up before him and waiting patiently for him to wake up and greeted him with a smile "Good Morning," and continued "Freshen up yourself so we can have a breakfast."
Both Lin Qiushi and Ruan Baijie came downstairs, even before they came down everyone was already at dining table and having their breakfast. It was only Lin Qiushi who had a peaceful sleep after witnessing total 4 dead bodies in the second day. While eating one of the women said "I heard one of the village member talking about village deity, if we also pay a visit to her and offer or prayers, would be great right?" and while they were discussing about the village deity the village head lady came and interrupted them "Oh you guys are going to offer the prayers?" a woman said "yes".
"That is really a good thing, we villagers always pay our visit first to her every time we start something new. And we believe it's as a good sign."
"Thank you for informing, we will defiantly visit the temple today" the same woman said.
"Make sure you guys visiting her one by one, this s how we always pay our visit to the goddess." said the village head and left from there.
Everybody discussing about leaving once they finish the breakfast. But Lin Qiushi was looking at Ruan Baijie as he trying to analyze something.
Total 7 members were reached to the temple and stood outside the temple. "Let's go Lin Qiushi" said Ruan Baijie. Everybody at there got stiff for a moment as they heard something wrong, and going alone would be better. But Lin Qiushi just stood there said nothing as if he will start walk if nobody stop them now.
Hong Ning: "Mei Mei I think you better go alone and let your partner go alone as the village head said."
Ruan Baijie: "We came together and we will go together, and what is wrong to go inside a temple with another person?"
Hong Ning : "...."
Ruan Baijie held Lin Qiushi's hand and went inside the temple and offer their prayers and came out side, looking at them Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi decide to go together and finished their offering and came out. But the rest three were hesitating to go with others.
"I'll go by myself." said a woman with shaking voice, and she went inside the temple alone. She finished her offering and came outside she was silent and trembling. Like wise the rest two finished their offerings individually. Now everyone finished their offerings to the goddess one of the man said "I've never seen a goddess like her". "What do you mean 'like her'!?" Baijie asked. "It was strange, it's like I was praying to a young women who is alive but not the goddess." he said.
"living woman? but we saw a statue only" Ruan Baijie said while looking at Lin Qiushi. And Xiao Ke said "Yes we also saw a statue and it was not suspicious." The woman said "What? but I also saw woman." "Yes I als... ahhh" Before even Hong Ning finished his words a long rope like hair grabbed the woman neck who visited the goddess after Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi, and that was door ghost and she dragged her inside the temple, the shouting of her was so loud and the rest 6 of them tried to run but the ghost captured the other two men who visited the temple after her and the door ghost didn't came out again like, she is done for today.
The four members who survived reached back to the house and gasping for breath, they didn't even look back at least once at the ghost, and Lin Qiushi for a moment he felt the woman who was running in front of him was a professional athlete and not the same person who always stand beside him. Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi went back to their rooms without having the lunch, but Baijie was not like that she always take food and sleep on time.
Lin Qiushi was just sitting beside her looking at her while she was eating "You are not eating?" Baijie said. "You eat, I'm not hungry." said Lin Qiushi. After she finished her meal they sat on the sofa after a moment Lin Qiushi broke the silence with "So you know about the taboo already? or you just want to offer the prayers together?". "I just guessed it." Baijie said plainly. "And about the key and door, you said you know where it is?" Lin Qiushi asked again looking straight in Baijie's eyes like he wants to know the answers only no bluff, looking at Lin Qiushi, Ruan Baijie said "About key It's just my guess, but I know where is the door." "Than let's go, search for the key." Lin Qiushi said while standing and at still looking in the Baijie's eyes.
All four of them are at coffin maker place waiting for the coffin, it was Lin Qiushi's idea to bring Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi with them and Baijie said nothing agreed with Lin Qiushi obediently. Coffin maker came and said "It will take some time why you guys are here already?". "How much time?" Xiong Qi asked, atleast today till the end of the day I need the time, I can't rush things recklessly." said that coffin maker. After listening to him Ruan Baijie came forward and started looking for something.
Lin Qiushi: "Are you looking for something?"
Ruan Baijie: "yes, something like 'hammer', 'saw' or 'drill'." she was using pressure on the tools of coffin making, while coming closer to the coffin maker.
Lin Qiushi: "IS this okay?" showing a saw to Baijie.
Ruan Baijie: "That would be great," took the saw from Lin Qiushi and turned to coffin maker and continued "how much time you said you'll need for finishing this coffin?".
Coffin maker: "One hour atleast ..... please." said with a shaking voice.
Ruan Baijie Turned and sat at on a chair and signaling Lin Qiushi to come and sit beside him, and Lin Qiushi sat beside her.
In the mean time both Xiong Qi and Xiao Ke were silent the entire time not because of the way Baijie made the coffin maker do his work as soon as possible but because they got shocked how she was using a saw and trying to threaten the coffin maker even when she was just a newbie.
After about nearly 45 to 50 minutes the coffin maker came and said "It's done now you can go and take the coffin leave from here." he was looking at Ruan Baijie and 'leave here' specially because she is really scarry in his opinion. The coffin maker left from there and the four people came and looking at the coffin, they were observing the coffin very seriously. Xiong Qi was trying to open the coffin but felt it was way too heavy so Lin Qiushi helped him.
As they have opened the coffin as Ruan Baijie expected the key appeared and Xiao Ke was about to take the key but Baijie snatched the key gave it to Lin Qiushi. Xiao Ke said nothing as it was them who find the lead for key. Lin Qiushi was looking at the key and looked at Baijie "shall we go for the door?" said. Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi looking at each other in shock and looking at Lin Qiushi and Ruan Baijie but said nothing and stood silently. Ruan Baijie just smiled and said "let's go."
All four of them reached to the well and they discussed something and Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi came near to the well and both of them looked in the well at the same while holding the fire stick torches and Lin Qiushi & Baijie were standing opposite side of the well. When they looked down in the well at the same time Lin Qiushi and Baijie entered inside the well. It was their strategy, two people will distract the ghost and other will enter the well and reach the door, Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi were distracting the ghost with the fire and somehow they entered the well and reached to Baijie and Qiushi, it took them around 15 to 20 minutes.
By the time they reached to them they were at standing infront of village head and the coffin maker who were kneeling down. Xiong Qi asked "What's happening here, we should run and search for the door". "We have searched the entire cave but we didn't the but we found them" Lin Qiushi pointing at the two people who were kneeling downing and crying, and the ghost also came while they were talking.
But the ghost stood silently and reached to a corner and looking at those two who were crying for some reason.
Lin Qiushi "It was because of them she became a ghost" pointed to the lady and man.
Xiao Ke "what do you mean?"
Lin Qiushi explained about how the villagers sacrificed the little girl to the wolf and hid themselves in the well. "And she even tried to manipulate every player so the ghost can eat them, you know why? because she was this lady's daughter." Right now Lin Qiushi was very disgusted and angry about the way they were so selfish and so cruel to the little girl.
The lady and the coffin maker were keep on apologizing to the ghost for their deeds. and Xiao Ke interrupted them and asked "who did she manipulated us?".
Lin Qiushi: "The 2nd day she was talking to three people said 'carry the wood three people as a group so it will be easy for you', and yesterday because she acted like she was crying the girl sympathized and wanted to bring water for them but Hong Ning went instead of her and the girl died by the ghost, and today the three people trusted her went inside of the temple alone and what happened? we all know." he said all this while looking at Baijie and said lastly "I'm I correct?" with a light smile as he was expecting her to admit that her partner was not a good for nothing.
Ruan Baijie: "You're always correct, Lin lin Ge" with a bright smile and showing thumb to Lin Qiushi as an sign of approval.
"So how did you know about the key and door?" asked Xiao Ke.
Ruan Baijie : "Yesterday night I came here, even though it was a guess because when that Hong Ning guy pointed here about the ghost. I just wanted to give a chance to my luck and than I saw this lady at the well and she said to me 'why are you alone 'at his time here' I said nothing but she left from there after finishing here sentence with 'the night is beautiful it would be even more beautiful if you come and enjoy the scenery with you partner' than I guessed the taboo and she is trying to kill all the people here by the ghost, but why? I don't know." she was about to finish her line but Lin Qiushi interrupted.
Lin Qiushi: "Why did you came alone here?" he with a sharp tone and widened his eyes.
Baijie: "I don't want to wake you up, you already slept and I don't want to disturb you at that time as it was really hard for you to fell into asleep." she said with low tone as if she talk loudly even before the ghost react and kill she Lin Qiushi will bury her alive with her eyes. Lin Qiushi said nothing, Baijie stood next him but he was not talking her.
Xiong Qi: "What about the ghost and door now?"
Baijie: " I also don't know as far as I guessed all the taboos I can not come with up the door, but the door should be here."
The ghost stood up coming towards them Baijie came in front of Lin Qiushi as if he trying to protect him, but the ghost turned into a the form of the girl she used to be when she was alive. And said "Why did like that? I also wanted to live, live with you mother." she was crying and the lad came to her hugged her said "trust me It was never my intention to leave you if I get the chance I would come and die with you but at that time it just happened I didn't relegalize how the well got closed and by the time I came out it was only your blood." "Sorry, I'm very sorry for what happened" the coffin maker still sobbing kneeled infront of her.
The girl and the mother were crying, and the girl a parted from her and turned to the Lin Qiushi and Baijie "Thank you" she said and looked at her mother "please don't cry, I just wanted to talked to you all the time but you always just took care of my hunger out of guilty." And the girl just disappeared slowly and the iron door appeared.
"Thank you, for giving me the chance to meet my daughter." said the village head and she also disappeared along with the coffin maker. Lin Qiushi said nothing but standing.
"How do you know the key would be in the coffin only?" Xiao Ke asked.
"It was just my hunch, as the coffin maker deliberately trying to delay the coffin making" Ruan Baijie said.
It's time to say good bye to this place as the door was infront of them and key in their hands. Ruan Baijie signaled Lin Qiushi toward the door as he telling him to open the door. Lin Qiushi inserted the key in key hole and unlocked the lock and suddenly a paper was dropped down from, Xiao Ke tried to run for the paper but Baijie already picked it up, and handed it to Lin Qiushi.
By all this, all these days what Xiao Ke and Xiong Qi understood is Ruan Baijie named girl was not new to this door world but she is defiantly passed more than three doors, with this much understanding they bid farewell to each other and crossed the door.
Lin Qiushi was standing there looking at Ruan Baijie expecting her to come and say something, Baijie came to Lin Qiushi and standing in front him and extended her hand for a handshake, Lin Qiushi and Baijie shaked their hands "Let's meet again Lin Qiushi" said Baijie while holding Lin Qiushi' hand.
And Lin Qiushi entered into the door and again he faced the light which was enough to blind someone if they do not close their eyes, and when he opened his eyes he was out of his bathroom, exactly from where he disappeared, now he appeared.
