"Where are we?" Valentina asked as the car finally came to a stop.
"I told you you'll see when we get in," Luciano replied, stepping out to open her side of the door.
"It's dark outside already."
She came down from the car, and fully faced him.
They were so close, he could hear her heart beat.
"It is." His voice was hoarse.
"Luciano, what is today about? We stopped at a nice restaurant to eat, I dressed up, you dressed up– what is this?"
"You'll see when we get in. But I should warn you, it's not going to be blissful all through. Do you understand, Bella?"
She nodded positively even if she didn't.
"Well let's go in then."
He linked his arm around hers, and together, they walked into the building that looked very shabby and abandoned from the outside.
But when the doors opened and they walked in, a small gasp escaped Valentina's throat.
The room was so large she couldn't see the end of it.
Men and women, dressed up in their gorgeous outfits filled the room.
