Fahad and Frostbite were looking at the machine, trying to figure out what might be inside it.
He even took pictures of the old dust on the ground, because he knew that Fahad needed this information.
Then Fahad left that place with a strange bird mark on it.
The night was very deep. The streetlights were shining on the street. Fahad and Frostbite were walking side by side.
But Fahad's house was very far from that road. Frostbite saw a small hut next to him. There was a lighted lamp there and said,
"Let's go there tonight and rest. We'll leave tomorrow morning."
Fahad agreed to his words and without answering, started walking towards the hut. Fahad stood in front of the door of the hut and looked back to see Frostbite still standing on the road.
Fahad knocked on the door of the hut without paying much attention to him. Then an old woman opened the door. Fahad gently smiled at her and said, "Hello, Grandma. I am a traveler. I have come from a long way. Can I stay here for tonight?"
That old woman welcomed him. Fahad looked back and was surprised to see a group of men dressed in black rushing towards Frostbite to kill him.
Fahad ran towards Frostbite to save him, but Fahad suddenly stopped. Frostbite defeated all the black-clad people in just a second. But kept them alive. Frostbite sat on them and lit a cigarette after defeating them and said to Fahad, "You seem very surprised."
The car was very old, like the cars from the nineties, but it was very beautiful. Then a man got out of the car. He was wearing a long coat and a hat. He had a cigarette in his mouth.
It was Huraira.
Fahad looked at him and said in a calm voice, "Was one idiot less? Now another idiot has arrived? Who invited him?"
Then, coincidentally, Frostbite and Huraira said together at the same time, "Did you just call me idiot?"
Then Fahad looked at Frostbite once and then at Huraira again, then lowered his head and said, "ASSHOLES."
Then, the people who had been defeated by Frostbite a while ago stood up with great difficulty.
Frostbite then asked them who they were. They replied that they are ninjas. One of them actually said, "We are the Rifle Squads. We are ninjas. You shouldn't stay here long. If they come, you will all die."
Frostbite replied in calm deep voice, "What do you mean by 'They'? Who are you talking about?"
One of them replied with trembling voice, "The Nightfall Squads."
Huraira from the side shouted in a frightened voice, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THE NIGHTFALL SQUADS!? THEY DIED ALMOST 8 YEARS AGO, YOU STUPID ASSHOLE."
One of the ninjas replied in a slightly raised voice, "Do you really think the Nightfall Squad is dead? They're impossible to kill. No one could touch them even if they wanted to."
Fahad calmly said, "Who are they really? Who do they work for?"
One of the ninja replied, "They don't work for anyone. They do what they want. They are the most fearsome ninjas in the world. They are all students of Jinichi Kawakami."
For some unknown mysterious reason, Frostbite smiled faintly at the ninja's words.
Then those ninjas left.
Then, Fahad and Frostbite went to Fahad's house in Huraira's car.
Huraira asked Frostbite when he came to Fahad's house, "If I'm not wrong, you are Detective Huraira."
Huraira proudly replied, "Yes. I am Detective Huraira from NYPD. I mean I was Detective but not now. I left everything to save Fahad."
Frostbite smiled at his words and said, "You left everything to save Fahad but I know you will be the one who will betray with Fahad. Actually, it becomes an universal truth that, The one who trusts you the most betrays you."
At the midnight...
It was very dark tonight. Everyone was asleep. Except Fahad. Fahad was sitting alone in his room, gathering information about the Nightfall Squad and Jinichi Kawakami.
The table where Fahad was sitting had some pictures that Frostbite had taken in the science lab.
Fahad was very surprised to see one of those pictures. In that picture, there was a torn piece of cloth in the corner of the room.
The piece of cloth in that picture was the type, color, and shape of clothing that the Nightfall Squad wore.
Fahad understood that the Nightfall Squad had some connection to that science lab.
Fahad was thinking about all this when he heard the sound of something falling from behind. Fahad looked back and saw the entire Nightfall squad standing behind him, surrounding him.
Everyone is dressed in ninja attire, everyone has a sharp sword in their hand.
One of them hit Fahad on the head with a heavy object, knocking him unconscious.
