"Who is it?!"
Vander Decken, who had been drowning in grief and rage, along with his many crew members, were startled by the sudden voice.
They hurriedly looked up, only to see a handsome blond young man sitting atop the cabin roof at some point unknown, gazing down at them with a teasing expression.
"Th-Thunder God? Why is he here?!"
The fish-men stared at that all-too-familiar face, their expressions filled with shock!
Ever since Leno's identity had been exposed, his portrait had spread like wildfire across Fish-Man Island—there was practically no one who didn't recognize him.
They never imagined they would encounter the legendary hero under such circumstances.
And judging by the situation, this visitor clearly didn't come with good intentions!
Ignoring their shock, Leno looked at the shifty-eyed, four-legged creature with open disdain.
"So you're Vander Decken? The trash that keeps harassing Shirahoshi?"
As he spoke, Leno lightly slid down onto the deck, his tone turning utterly disgusted.
"Calling you a toad would be praising you. Just looking at you makes me want to puke!"
"Wha—" Hearing Leno's mocking words, Vander Decken froze on the spot, utterly unable to accept it. His pride had taken a devastating blow.
What vicious words!
To be humiliated like this!
So what if he was a little more handsome than him—what was there to brag about?!
Vander Decken flew into a rage, veins bulging on his forehead as his eyes turned bloodshot. Pointing at Leno, he ground his teeth and roared,
"Men! Kill him!"
"B-But Captain, he's the Thunder God—the hero of Fish-Man Island..."
The fish-man crew exchanged hesitant glances. This was their benefactor—how could they bring themselves to attack him?
"You bastards! You dare disobey the captain's orders now?!"
"Get there and kill him! Now!"
Seeing his subordinates hesitate, Vander Decken shouted furiously, nearly losing his mind.
The guy had already come knocking at their door, and they were still too embarrassed to fight back—were they sick in the head?!
He didn't know where he pulled out two axes from, gripping them tightly as he stared warily at Leno.
This man's reputation resounded across the seas—Vander Decken wasn't arrogant enough to believe he could face him head-on.
Still, he wasn't too worried. After all, this was the deep sea!
No matter how capable Leno was, he was still human—there was only so much he could do.
Besides, Vander Decken still had his trump card. With that thought, his gaze shifted sideways.
The massive shadow slowly moving through the sea filled him with a powerful sense of security.
Retreating to the railing, he shouted outward,
"Wadatsumi! Get over here!"
"Hahahaha... so the Thunder God isn't all that amaz—huh?"
Having summoned his trump card, Vander Decken turned around with newfound confidence, ready to hurl insults—
Only to be met with a figure wreathed in blood-red flames, gripping a long blade dripping with blood, walking toward him step by step.
As for his crew, they lay strewn across the deck, lifeless bodies soaked in pools of blood.
In the blink of an eye, they had all been slaughtered!
Vander Decken's body instinctively shrank back as he pressed tightly against the railing. His pupils shrank violently, his voice trembling.
"W-Wadatsumi, kill him for me!"
"You jumped around for so long—I thought you had something impressive. Turns out this is all?"
Standing before him, Leno let out a scornful snort as he looked at the nearly paralyzed Vander Decken.
The long blade swung.
With a wet slicing sound, blood sprayed as two long, severed legs flew into the air.
"AAAAAAHHHH!!!"
A piercing scream rang out as Vander Decken finally collapsed onto the deck.
The tearing agony from below, combined with the blood-red sight before his eyes, shattered his sanity.
Gritting his teeth, he glared at Leno with venom-filled eyes, letting out a near-hysterical roar.
"Wadatsumi! Kill this bastard! I want him dead!!!"
"Yes, Captain!" Wadatsumi roared in fury upon seeing his captain injured, raising his massive fist and smashing it toward Leno.
"How dare you harm the captain! You have courted death—take my punch!"
"I was going to keep you around for later, but since you're asking to die, don't blame me."
Seeing the brute attack, Leno extinguished the fleeting thought in his mind.
He raised a single finger, pointing calmly at Wadatsumi's massive head.
"Five Hundred Million Volts—White Lightning!"
Zzzzt—
A blinding flash erupted as a thick, blazing-white bolt of lightning vanished in an instant.
Wadatsumi's enormous body stiffened, then slowly toppled to the side as the light in his eyes rapidly faded.
Boom—
The Flying rocked violently amid the surging currents, and Vander Decken's frenzied howls came to an abrupt halt.
His mouth hung wide open, his eyes nearly popping out as he stood frozen in place.
"N-No way... this is impossible!"
Snapping back to reality, he desperately kicked the deck with his remaining two legs, trying to crawl away from the monster before him.
But the railing was right behind him—no matter how hard he struggled, he could only flail helplessly in place.
"You're not human... you're the devil!"
"Heh... looks like leaving you with legs was unnecessary."
Leno stepped forward and stomped down twice.
Crack! Crack!
The sound of bones snapping rang out as Vander Decken's agonized screams echoed once more.
Looking at that face twisted in unbearable pain, Leno felt not the slightest trace of mercy.
A perverted monster like this deserved to suffer every ounce of torment—otherwise, it would be an insult to his crimes.
"I heard you're a Target-Target Fruit user. I wonder—without your hands, can you still use your ability?"
"...?!"
Hearing Leno's devilish whisper, terror instantly flooded Vander Decken's eyes.
Ignoring the excruciating pain in his legs, he clawed at the deck with both hands, desperately crawling away.
His filthy yellow cloak wrapped around his body as he writhed across the floor like a maggot.
Crack—! Crack—!
The crisp sound of bones breaking echoed once more across the silent deck, accompanied by muffled, hopeless wails.
His eyes rolled back, white foam spilling from the corner of his mouth as his body convulsed violently.
Seeing that Captain Decken was more dead than alive, Leno mercifully delivered the final blow.
The villain who had tormented Shirahoshi for years finally received the punishment he deserved.
After storing away the body, Leno scanned the area and noticed that the anglerfish from earlier hadn't escaped.
It was hiding nearby, staring this way in sheer terror.
He casually glanced at the smaller anglerfish, and seeing nothing special, he ignored it.
After rummaging through the cabin a few times, he found nothing but some gold, Berries, and all kinds of weapons.
Cursing the man for being poor, Leno didn't even bother with the ship—he turned and vanished from the spot.
