Chapter 160 - A Father and Daughter Reunited After 200 Years

After a long while, everyone finally managed to recover from their shock, only to turn curious eyes toward Olga.

This two-hundred-year-old "little girl" before them—what was her real identity, and how could she possess Pure Gold? Nami couldn't resist asking.

With a gentle smile, Nami leaned forward and said softly, "Hey, Olga, why don't you tell us your story?"

Looking at Nami's face practically pressed against hers—and the eager, expectant gazes surrounding her—Olga sighed helplessly.

"Over two hundred years ago, our family of three lived on the Iron Island—Alchemi..."

As she spoke, everyone gradually understood how her father had created Pure Gold, and how it attracted greedy pirates who killed her mother.

Eventually, the commotion even drew the Anglerfish that swallowed both Alchemi Island and her along with it. By the time she finished, she was still cursing in anger.

"That bastard old man—it's all his fault! If he hadn't created Pure Gold, Mom wouldn't have died, and none of this would've happened!"

"What about your father?"

Hearing her out, Chopper asked softly, his tone tinged with sadness.

"Who knows? He probably died when we were swallowed. Serves him right!" Olga replied casually while eating grilled meat, as if talking about a complete stranger.

And truly, after two hundred years, even hatred fades away with time.

"I see... two hundred years, huh? You must've gone through a lot, Olga."

Now that the initial shock had faded, Nami couldn't help but feel sympathy.

A little girl, living alone in this stomach for two centuries—what she endured was unimaginable.

Caught off guard by Nami's sudden concern, Olga blinked before waving it off indifferently.

"It's fine, I got used to it long ago~"

"Olga, haven't you ever wondered why your father made Pure Gold in the first place?"

Seeing her dismissive attitude, Leno decided to hit her with something heavy—something to make her realize the harsh truth of the world.

Olga scowled. "Why else? For wealth and fame, obviously!"

"Nope. He did it for you."

"Impossible! That bastard old man only cared about wealth and fame! He's the reason Mom was killed by pirates!"

The moment those absurd words came out of Leno's mouth, Olga shot to her feet, glaring daggers at him.

Leno, however, spoke calmly, "Back then, you were terminally ill—incurable. Your father couldn't bear to see his little girl die so young. He tried everything he could to save you."

"In the end, he succeeded. He created Pure Gold, freezing your life forever at the age when you first fell ill."

Seeing Olga's trembling body and shaken eyes, Leno continued softly, "You remember what your father said when he put that ring on your finger, don't you?"

Her lips quivered as she slowly raised her left hand. Staring at the ring on her middle finger, she whispered, "He... he said, never take it off..."

"If you remove that ring, your illness will instantly worsen. With the medical knowledge of that time, you wouldn't have survived."

"Thud—"

Olga collapsed to the ground, covering her face as sobs broke free.

"When Mom died, that bastard must've been heartbroken... and I kept cursing him..."

"He created Pure Gold to save me... and I hated him for two hundred years..."

"I'm such an idiot! Uwaaaah!"

As she thought about how cruelly she had treated her father, regret and guilt flooded in, overwhelming her until she broke down crying.

Nami and Nojiko watched the little girl weeping uncontrollably on the ground, their hearts aching.

Robin quietly stepped forward and patted Olga's back in silent comfort.

When the moment felt right, Leno finally spoke.

"Olga, stop crying. If you feel guilty, just apologize when you see your father again. I'm sure he'll forgive you."

"Hic... That bastard's been dead for so many years! You want me to go to the underworld to apologize to him, hic—?"

Her words came out between sobs and hiccups as she wiped her tear-streaked face.

"You're such a dutiful daughter," Leno teased dryly. "Already wishing your father dead?"

"What... what do you mean?"

Something in his tone made her freeze. Could it be...?

In a flash, Olga sprang to her feet and rushed up to Leno, eyes wide with desperate hope.

"Tell me! What do you mean? Is that bastard old man still alive?!"

"Of course he is. If you managed to survive, why wouldn't he?"

Leno rolled his eyes. "You two are quite the pair—living in the same place for two hundred years without ever bumping into each other."

"Then where is he? I have to see him right now!"

Now that she knew her father was alive, Olga couldn't sit still. She had only one thought—she needed to see him immediately!

"Relax. He's in the second stomach, doing just fine."

"Robin, take her back to the ship first and help her clean up. She reeks."

Waving his hand dismissively, Leno sent Olga off before leading the others toward the second stomach.

Using Observation Haki to scan the area, Leno soon located their target—Myskina Acier—hiding inside a dinosaur's nest.

Apparently, the man had been disguised as a dinosaur all this time, freeloading off their meals.

As the ship descended, a wave of Conqueror's Haki swept across the area, instantly knocking out every dinosaur nearby.

Inside, the disguised Acier trembled, completely baffled by what had just happened. Then, as a small silhouette appeared at the cave entrance, his pupils shook violently, and he took a hesitant step forward.

A choked voice escaped the costume. "Olga?!"

"Ahhh!! There's still a living dinosaur in here?!"

Leno had planned to leave the space to the father and daughter, but Olga had barely entered before screaming and bolting back out.

Leno smacked his forehead. "How the hell did this girl survive two hundred years?"

"Wait—my daughter?!"

Inside, the man finally snapped out of it. He tore off his disguise and stumbled outside.

Standing there, in his ragged, overweight form, Olga could faintly see the face of her "bastard old man" beneath the grime.

Taking a few hesitant steps forward, she called softly, "Dad?"

"Olga! You're really alive! Thank goodness!"

Tears welled in Acier's eyes as he stepped forward but stopped short, suddenly unsure.

Olga didn't hesitate. She threw herself into his arms.

"Dad! The Pure Gold—it was made to save me, wasn't it?"

"Why didn't you tell me? I hated you for two hundred years..."

"I'm sorry, Daddy!"

Acier held his daughter tightly, tears streaming down his face, a relieved smile forming.

"I'm sorry too, Olga..."

"Daddy... sob..."
