When Yujiro heard Hiramasu's explanation he fell into thought.
'So he is warning us to not get killed off like how Konoha killed Sunas and Iwa's younger generation and how Kumo did on a smaller case.
And this is also interesting. I thought that the reason Suna and Iwa had practically no S rank ninjas in the series was because they had no bloodline clan and had no crazy talented people like Minato, but now it seems that there are other reasons for this.
First during the second great ninja war, most of their younger generation met tragedy due to Konoha's schemes, though it's practically guaranteed to be the schemings of that one eyed hawk.
Then during the third great ninja war Iwa's younger generation was again slaughtered by Minato and the Third Raikage.
While Suna performed extremely badly in the third great ninja war due to the same scheme and due to Sakumo killing of their older generation, basically leaving the village shadow of its former self, along with that due to their poor performance in the third great ninja war, the daimyo basically cut off the villages entire budget.
Along with Madara and Obito destroying Kiri, and Konoha self-destructing, left Kumo as the militarily strongest nation in the ninja world.
Though that's only on paper, after all I'm sure they can't put their full force against Konoha or any other nations for that matter.
After all, if they arbitrarily attack any nations, it will either be seen as a declaration of war against Konoha or Iwa since Kumo has only the land of frost in friendly terms with them.
All of the other nations are either allied to Iwa or Konoha, so when they attack one of them, it's seen as an attack on either Konoha or Iwa and if either is attacked, the other will put pressure on Kumo.
And in Konoha's case they also have Suna, a great nation, as their ally, though even this alliance is solely on paper.
And it's doubtful of how much help they would actually be in a great war.
They might take the opportunity to simply stab Konoha in the back.'
Yujiro's thoughts were interrupted by Hiramasu.
"I'm telling you this to warn you to be careful, talented youths like you are the bullseye in the eyes of enemy villages.
They will try and kill you before you grow."
After Hiramasu spoke, the trio stayed silent for a moment after which they replied.
"Yes sensei! x3"
After they finished the last two bandit extermination missions, they set their course back to Konoha.
When they arrived at Konoha, Hiramasu once again dismissed his students.
After he dismissed his students he went to report the mission to the hokage.
Immediately after Hiramasu opened the door he greeted Hiruzen.
"Hello old man."
"Hmm, hello Hiramasu, it's good to see you alright, close the door."
After a moment Hiramasu started to explain the whole sequence of missions.
After he finished the report.
He heard Hiruzen inquire eagerly.
"How did they handle the chunin and how did they react to his strength?"
"Hmm I guess they did pretty well, the only issue with their operation was that they could have easily fallen to a trap if the chunin was sent by enemy nations."
After which Hiramasu explained the whole fight from his perspective to Hiruzen.
"Hmm they did very well, besides their lack of experience, they probed his abilities very accurately.
But his jutsu reserves seem nonexistent, was he self taught?"
After a moment of pondering Hiramasu gave an answer.
"He probably wasn't self taught but the one that teaches him probably didn't give him much information to work with.
Atleast he didn't have any ninjutsus or taijutsu to speak of.
The only thing that was good about him was that his body was very well trained.
Apart from his age, it seems that he has had a proper training regiment.
Sadly he wasn't born in Konoha and had probably missed the optimal time to awaken chakra and start training.
If he was born in Konoha he would have had a high chance of becoming a Jonin."
After reporting the chunins capabilities, he let out an amused chuckle.
"Apart from that, when I asked the kids what they thought about the chunin.
Hyori directly called him a Civilian with chakra.
They didn't really take the guy seriously."
After Hiramasu said it Hiruzen too gave a light chuckle.
"They are still young, aren't you just as arrogant as them?"
When Hiramasu heard this he became speechless due to the awkwardness.
After a moment he got over his awkwardness, and addressed another matter.
"I know that you usually check out young genins to see their temperament and talent.
And from what I have seen of the kids Yujiro, Hyori and Mujin all have fun loving nature's with a bit of mischief, but apart from that apart from Yujiro, Hyori and Mujin are both quite arrogant, although it's quite normal for kids their age, their arrogance will mellow down when they encounter someone strong and hostile.
But Yujiro is a different matter, although he doesn't show it, he is incredibly arrogant, and when i tried to mellow it down by dragging him to fight against another Jonin.
Even with the brutal loss.
He made practically zero mistakes apart from the ones he made due to the lack of experience.
So even if he is arrogant from the battle I saw his arrogance doesn't hamper him in fights.
Though he might need a reality check, since he seems to think that achieving the strength of an S rank ninja is already at his reach."
After Hiruzen heard this he too chuckled, after a moment he spoke.
"It's good that he has confidence like that, it means that his dream requires much more strength, and it also means that his target of strength is not to reach the level of an S rank ninja, but even higher.
