Emiya dared to say that because he already had experience.
Every time he traveled, it was either just before the plot began or right as it started.
There were only two exceptions.
One was One Piece.
When he arrived there, it was several months before Luffy set sail.
The other was Demon Slayer.
By the time he entered that world, Tanjiro Kamado's family had already been killed, and Tanjiro had been training under Sakonji Urokodaki for over a year. He hadn't even participated in the Final Selection yet.
Aside from those two cases, everything else followed the same pattern.
So Emiya guessed this time would be no different.
And he was right.
A few days later, Mai Shiranui came to find him.
She told him that the '96 KOF tournament had begun.
An hour earlier, she had received an invitation.
Emiya wasn't surprised.
"So," Mai Shiranui asked curiously, "have you prepared your team?"
Emiya nodded. "They're all ready."
"Besides CĂș Chulainn and you, who's the third member?"
"Heracles."
"???" Mai Shiranui's expression froze. "Who did you just say? Heracles? That Heracles?"
"That's right," Emiya replied calmly. "The son of Zeus."
"That's way too much," Mai Shiranui complained despite her usually good temper. "CĂș Chulainn is already ridiculous enough. He's a demigod. And now you've added a god of strength?"
She rolled her eyes.
"If he's a god of strength, shouldn't he be fighting in a divine war? A god entering the KOF tournament is just bullying people."
Emiya smiled and reassured her.
"Relax. It's not that bad. Heracles isn't manifesting as a god. He's here as a Heroic Spirit."
"A Heroic Spirit?" Mai Shiranui looked confused.
Emiya explained what a Heroic Spirit was, then continued.
"After manifesting as a Heroic Spirit, Heracles has a physical body, but it's an ordinary one. It doesn't carry his demigod bloodline. His strength is several levels lower than before, so it's not really cheating."
Mai Shiranui nodded in understanding.
"So that's how it is."
"That's right," Emiya said.
Even so, Emiya felt that with Heracles' current strength, defeating the other KOF teams wouldn't be an issue.
The only ones who might cause trouble were Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami.
And even that would only be a little trouble.
Aside from them, no one really mattered.

Riveria nodded. "It has been."
Ais looked at Emiya, nodded lightly, and greeted him as well.
Emiya didn't mind.
That was just how Ais was.
Soon after, Finn arrived.
"Sorry, I'm late."
"It's fine," Emiya said. "But are you sure things are okay? Both the captain and vice-captain are leaving."
Finn looked puzzled.
Emiya clarified, "With both you and Riveria gone, is the Loki Familia really fine?"
Finn sighed and shook his finger.
"To be honest, I'm worried too. But if it's only for a short time, it should be fine. Loki is still here."
Loki's eyes widened.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Of course I'm going too. How could I miss a competition where fighters from all over the world gather? And as the head of the Familia, I have to cheer for my kids."
Finn froze.
"I didn't hear anything about that. If you leave too..."
If the main god, captain, vice-captain, and ace all left at once, would the Loki Familia really be okay?

They would all go to the KOF world.
As for the Loki Familia, even with the main god, captain, vice-captain, and ace gone, Loki was confident nothing would happen.
After all, it was the Familia she built.

Next, the group went to the Hephaestus Familia.
Hephaestus, Tsubaki, Giyu Tomioka, and Gyomei Himejima were already waiting.
"Yo, Hephaestus. You're going too?" Loki greeted her cheerfully.
Hephaestus looked at Loki.

Loki smiled and waved her hands.
"Relax. I'm not like before. I definitely won't cause any major trouble."
"Is that so?" Hephaestus narrowed her eyes.
Still uneasy, she turned to Emiya.
"If Loki causes trouble, stop her."
Emiya smiled wryly.
"Do you think I can stop her if she really goes wild?"
Hephaestus thought about it.
Then sighed.
Loki crossed her arms.
"At least trust me a little."
"Yes, yes," Hephaestus replied perfunctorily. "A little."

After picking up the Loki Team and the Hephaestus Team, Emiya brought them to Ryozanpaku.
The Ryozanpaku Team was already prepared.
After brief greetings, Emiya didn't waste time.
He took everyone to the One Piece world and picked up Robin.
Then he went to the Combined World and brought back Shizuka Hiratsuka.
Four teams were now assembled.
The final team was Emiya's Heroic Spirit team.
But he didn't go to the Type-Moon world immediately.
That world was no longer in the Age of Gods.
Bringing two gods there could trigger unknown consequences.
If Alaya or Gaia reacted, it would be troublesome.
So Emiya first sent the four teams to the KOF world and completed their registrations.
His Heroic Spirit team had already registered.
Once the Loki Team, Hephaestus Team, Ryozanpaku Team, and Nen Ability Team were all registered, Emiya brought them to the Shiranui dojo.
It was a dojo.
There were plenty of rooms.
Housing over a dozen people wasn't a problem.
After handing everyone over to Mai Shiranui, Emiya returned to the Type-Moon world.
He picked up Heracles, CĂș Chulainn, and Illya.
Then he brought them over as well.
At that point, all five teams were officially assembled.
To solve the food issue, Emiya even made a special trip to Kikuriku Tower.
He borrowed Erina Nakiri and Hisako Arato.
And had them prepare a luxurious feast for everyone.
