To be honest, Emiya hadn't even heard of some of the things Medea requested.
Even so, once Medea explained their function and appearance in detail, Emiya still managed to create them.
Fantasy Creation was just that unreasonable.
No explanation required.
After four straight days of nonstop work, Medea finally finished.
When Emiya brought her lunch, she smiled.
"Tonight, we can summon the Greater Holy Grail and purify All the World's Evil."
"Tonight?" Emiya paused, surprised.
"That's right. Tonight," Medea replied, nodding calmly.
"I get it. I'll inform everyone," Emiya said.
He returned to the Einzbern castle with Medea.
Time passed quickly.
That evening, after Sakura Matou and Rin Tohsaka returned from school, everyone gathered together.
Emiya explained that they would summon the Greater Holy Grail that night.
Rin blinked.
"It's already ready?"
Sakura also looked at Emiya in surprise.
Emiya smiled faintly.
"Who do you think helped? A third-rate magus like you?" He waved a hand casually. "It was my Servant-Medea, a Magus from the Age of Gods. What's a Holy Grail to her?"
Rin shot him an annoyed look but didn't argue.
Emiya continued.
"Let's head to the Great Cavern. Once this is done, I'll take you all to the Kikuka Restaurant. There's a dish there that glows."
No one objected.
Emiya opened an air portal and brought everyone to the Great Cavern beneath Ryūdō Temple.
He turned to Medea.
"You can start."
Medea nodded.
With a simple lift of her hand, a golden chalice appeared.
This wasn't the Greater Holy Grail.
It was the Lesser Holy Grail.
One created from Illyasviel's body.
Illya's expression turned complicated when she saw it.
She said nothing.
Heracles held her on his shoulder and spoke softly, comforting her.
Medea placed the Lesser Holy Grail on the ground.
The moment it touched the surface, neat patterns lit up beneath it.
Centered on the Grail, the patterns spread outward instantly.
In just a few breaths, they reached everyone's feet.
"Don't worry. There's no danger," Medea said.
Everyone relaxed and stayed still.
The patterns continued spreading.
Across the ground.
Up the walls.
Along the ceiling.
Soon, the entire Great Cavern was covered in intricate magic formations.
At a glance, it looked like layers upon layers of magnificent magic circles.
Emiya could clearly sense it.
An overwhelming amount of magical energy.
The Great Cavern had become a massive pool of mana.
Driven by that pool, the Holy Grail system hidden beneath Ryūdō Temple finally activated.
A hole opened.
Then-
All the World's Evil descended.
Pitch-black mud poured out, spreading across the ground and creeping toward Emiya's group.
Everyone immediately became alert.
Including Emiya.
All the World's Evil was no joke.
It could corrupt Servants.
It could corrupt living humans.
An ordinary person wouldn't survive exposure to it.
Fortunately, Medea had prepared for this.
The magic circles throughout the Great Cavern activated at once.
In an instant, they began compressing the black mud.
Bit by bit.
Layer by layer.
The entire process was smooth.
Effortless.
But Emiya noticed something.
This didn't look like purification.
He glanced at Medea.
She smiled slightly.
"Master, don't you think it'd be a waste to purify it?" she said. "This is a very interesting substance."
Emiya: "..."
He didn't particularly like it.
But since Medea had chosen this path, he didn't interfere.
"Do whatever you like."
Hearing that, Medea's smile deepened.
Rin Tohsaka muttered quietly, "As expected of a witch."
She made sure no one else heard.
Half an hour later, all of All the World's Evil within the Greater Holy Grail had been compressed into a single object.
A pearl.
Small enough to hold in one hand.
It emitted a faint black glow.
Its texture resembled jade.
Not a black pearl.
Black jade.
Medea picked it up and carefully placed it in her pocket.
Then she completed the ritual.
Soon after, the Greater Holy Grail-now emptied of All the World's Evil-returned to its original state.
It descended from the depths of the Great Cavern.
Everyone's gaze shifted to Emiya.
No matter how they looked at it, the sole victor was obvious.
Emiya glanced at the Holy Grail and smiled faintly.
"I'm not interested in making a wish," he said. "But if any of you want to stay in this era, you can touch the Greater Holy Grail and gain a physical body."
CĂş Chulainn stepped forward immediately.
"I'm definitely staying, Master. You didn't forget, right? You're taking me to other worlds to meet those masters."
Emiya nodded.
"I remember."
CĂş Chulainn touched the Holy Grail.
A physical body was granted.
His excitement was obvious.
"This feeling..." he said, flexing slightly. "I haven't felt this in a long time."
A real body was completely different from a Servant's magical one.
Medea followed.
Calm as ever, she touched the Grail and gained a physical body as well.
Emiya then looked at Artoria.
"What's your choice?"
Artoria stayed silent for a long time.
Finally, she spoke.
"If even the Holy Grail cannot grant my wish, then there's no reason for me to remain in this era."
"There's also someone waiting for me."
"Bedivere?" Emiya asked.
She nodded.
"Yes."
"I understand," Emiya said. "I wish you a safe journey, Artoria."
"No-King Arthur."
He didn't try to stop her.
He could have used a Command Spell.
But that wasn't what she wanted.
Emiya believed in one thing.
Do not impose on others what you wouldn't accept yourself.
Artoria smiled.
A gentle, beautiful smile.
"Goodbye, my Master."
Emiya returned it.
"Goodbye, Artoria. I look forward to meeting you again."
She paused, surprised.
Then her smile grew even brighter.
Her body dissolved into countless points of light.
Carried away by the wind.
After Artoria left, Emiya turned to the remaining Servants.
"What about you?"
"Stay, or leave?"
Archer answered calmly.
"I'll leave."
Rin Tohsaka turned toward him instinctively, about to speak.
Archer stopped her.
"Rin, there's already a me in this era," he said quietly. "I won't stay. But rest assured-I'll bless you in the future."
Rin's face reddened.
Emiya understood immediately.
...Is this the ShirĹŤ Emiya from Rin's route?
In the end, only Artoria and Archer chose to leave.
CĂş Chulainn.
Medea.
Medusa.
Heracles.
They all chose to stay.
The Holy Grail War had reached a true happy ending.
"Master," Medea asked, "aren't you going to make a wish?"
Even after granting physical bodies, the Holy Grail could still grant one wish.
Rin stared at it.
Envy filled her eyes.
She really wanted to wish for endless jewels.
That way, her Jewel Magecraft could reach its peak.
No more worrying about money.
Emiya shook his head.
"I'm not interested. But if any of you want to, go ahead."
"I-"
"I will."
Just as Rin moved, Medea stepped forward first.
She ignored Rin's burning stare.
Elegant.
Unhurried.
She placed her hand on the Holy Grail and made her wish.
She didn't say what it was.
Once the wish was granted, the Holy Grail vanished.
The next Holy Grail War would've required sixty years.
But it would never happen.
In a few years, Waver Velvet-Lord El-Melloi II-would come to Fuyuki.
He would work with the head of the Tohsaka family.
Together, they would completely dismantle the Greater Holy Grail.
The Mage's Association wanted to revive it.
The two sides would clash.
After a conflict on the scale of a Holy Grail War, the system would be destroyed.
The Fuyuki Holy Grail War was over.
Completely.
A Sixth Holy Grail War was impossible.
Unless Emiya intervened.
But he had already participated once.
He had no interest in doing it again.
So it would never happen.
After everything was settled, Emiya kept his promise.
He took everyone to the Sichuan Kikuka Restaurant.
To eat dishes that glowed.
