After making his decision, in just an instant, over seventy avatars all gathered inside the spaceship.
Luo Fan stored them all into his World Ring and began assisting the Space Worm clone in devouring and digesting the spatial fragments.
The pure energy transformed from those spatial fragments.
Each avatar would return to the Space Worm clone's body to transfer that energy back to it.
This greatly accelerated the clone's cultivation speed.
Luo Fan estimated that within ten days, the Space Worm clone would break through to the Star Level.
...
Soon, ten days had quietly passed.
At this moment, the Space Worm clone was still relentlessly devouring a massive piece of spatial fragment before it.
Although the Space Worm clone had grown to a length of one hundred kilometers, in front of that spatial fragment, it still appeared tiny, like an insect clinging to a tree.
With every bite the Space Worm clone took, the spatial fragment would chip away like a biscuit, leaving another gap.
Once the fragment entered the Space Worm clone's body, it was broken down into pure energy.
Within that energy was a trace of the Spatial Origin Law.
Because of this, the Space Worm clone was constantly comprehending the essence of spatial laws.
It was just like Luo Fan's true body, which was immersed in the special energy within the Source Water Crystal.
This was why Space Worms could, through devouring spatial fragments alone, slowly advance and break through.
Even the naturally lazy Space Worms could, by continually consuming spatial fragments, gradually comprehend portions of the spatial laws.
Those with greater talent could even, through this process, break through to the Venerable Realm.
However, because the Space Worm clone possessed an extremely high affinity for the Spatial Origin Law, it was almost impossible for it to comprehend the Temporal Origin Law.
Thus, even the strongest Space Worms in the entire universe, those that reached the Venerable Realm, were merely cosmic overlords at best.
As the energy within its body continued to grow, the nine planets inside the Space Worm clone kept rotating, constantly absorbing that energy.
Until, at a certain moment, the nine planets suddenly stopped spinning.
Without hesitation, Luo Fan created a new task:
[Task: Space Worm Clone Breaks Through to the Star Level. Reward: Spatial Fragments +10,000, Comprehension +20,000, Luck +100,000]
As soon as the task was established, the nine planets within the Space Worm clone began to shatter and collapse.
As time passed, the fragments of those nine planets condensed into a single star!
At that moment, a familiar voice rang in Luo Fan's mind:
"Congratulations, Host. Task complete."
The Space Worm had successfully broken through to the Star Level!
A flicker of excitement appeared in Luo Fan's eyes.
A Star-Level Space Worm clone was far beyond what his true body could compare to.
Just in terms of genetic level alone, the difference was twentyfold!
In addition, there was also the vast difference in physical size.
Luo Fan noticed that after the breakthrough, the Space Worm clone's body seemed to have grown slightly larger, its length had increased by several dozen meters.
However, considering that its body had already reached a hundred kilometers in length, the change was barely noticeable.
So, it just didn't look very noticeable.
Luo Fan observed carefully and found that every time the Space Worm clone digested a bit of spatial fragment, its body grew slightly larger.
Although the growth was very slow, it was still a genuine increase.
Previously, when it was at the Planetary Level, the Space Worm clone had not shown this phenomenon at all.
Even after devouring vast amounts of spatial fragments, its length and body size had shown no signs of increase.
Luo Fan speculated that the limit for a Planetary-Level Space Worm clone's body size must have been one hundred kilometers.
Now that it had broken through to the Star Level, its body could continue to grow.
This discovery brought a trace of joy to Luo Fan's face.
After all, body size was extremely important for a powerful being.
It represented the total amount of energy contained within.
Especially after reaching the Immortal Realm, the larger the divine body, the more divine power it possessed.
Why were special lifeforms so powerful?
Aside from their superior genetic level, their immense size was also a major factor.
The Space Worm clone stretched its body slightly, preparing to test out its newly acquired power.
Then, it used Transformation Art to take on Luo Fan's true appearance and exited the World Ring.
Since the World Ring was inside the spaceship, if the Space Worm had gone out in its original form, it would have been far too cramped.
Outside the spaceship, the Space Worm clone, now in Luo Fan's form, extended one hand forward.
In the next instant, a wormhole appeared before him.
Luo Fan stepped into it and instantly emerged in a place filled with raging hurricanes.
The wind here was incredibly fierce, its speed exceeded that of the strongest hurricanes on Earth by countless times.
Luo Fan immediately understood, this was the Wind Region!
A hint of interest appeared on his face.
It seemed that this secret realm truly contained at least eight distinct regions.
The avatars had already discovered the Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth regions.
And now, by opening a new wormhole himself, Luo Fan had located the Wind Region.
Because of the Space Worm clone's breakthrough to the Star Level, the distance between the two points connected by its wormhole had now reached seven trillion kilometers.
Luo Fan knew that the diameter of this secret realm was about one light-year.
The maximum wormhole range of the Space Worm clone was now exactly one light-year.
If it were to open a wormhole leading beyond that distance, it would directly exit the boundaries of the secret realm.
This distance, then, was just right.
The Space Worm clone proceeded to perform another secret technique...
Clone!
In the next instant, ten avatars appeared beside Luo Fan.
Unlike the previous ones—
those earlier avatars had a maximum body length of ten kilometers, one-tenth the size of the Space Worm clone.
But this time, Luo Fan noticed that each of these Space Worm avatars had grown a few meters longer.
This meant that the avatars' body lengths increased proportionally as the main Space Worm clone's body grew.
After appearing, the ten avatars immediately transformed into Luo Fan's human form.
Because of the recent breakthrough, these Space Worm avatars were now also at the Star Level.
They split into two groups, each heading in opposite directions to perform the Wormhole Secret Technique.
After the avatars advanced to the Star Level, the maximum range of their wormholes had also increased, to one hundred billion kilometers, roughly one percent of a light-year.
This meant their travel speed had become astonishingly fast.
However, at present, both the Space Worm clone and its avatars could only use the maximum-range wormhole three times in total.
Even so, this discovery pleasantly surprised Luo Fan.
After all, when the Space Worm clone had been at Planetary Level, Rank Eight, it could only use the longest-range wormhole ten times.
After advancing to Planetary Level, Rank Nine, it could use it a little more than ten times.
Now, at Star Level, Rank One, being able to use it three times already meant that by the time it reached the peak of the Star Level, it could likely perform the technique over a hundred times.
That was quite an improvement, Luo Fan thought with satisfaction.
After finishing the test of the secret techniques, the Space Worm clone stepped through the still-open wormhole and returned to the Water Region.
