Thinking that, Cole's mind moved. Across an entire world, he controlled the Ruyi Jingu Bang, making its domain even tougher and more unbreakable.
Only after finishing did Cole finally relax. He lazily opened his mouth.
"Mmm!"
Tier Harribel's face was bright red, but she still forced down her embarrassment and annoyance. She peeled a grape and stuffed it into Cole's mouth.
"I don't know what happened, but you look like you have things to deal with. Aren't you going to get up already?"
As she spoke, Tier glanced shyly at the black-haired young man resting on her smooth thighs, the urge to kick him flying bubbling up.
This annoying human brat…
His hair tickled her thigh so badly.
And he even kept touching her every now and then.
"Let me rest a bit first. No one told me being the ruler of a faction would be this exhausting."
Cole spoke lazily.
Back when he was still in the Wandenreich, it was fine. But ever since the Military Police started expanding, he increasingly felt something was off.
Because at first, he basically dumped all the paperwork onto Liltotto.
After all, she was the girl squad's strategist.
But once the Military Police expanded to a certain point, there were many matters even Liltotto couldn't handle.
And all of that work ended up on his desk.
Processing those damn documents every day was even more tiring than fighting Aizen head-on several times over.
As he said that, Cole fiercely kneaded Tier's wheat-colored thigh, baring his teeth as he complained.
"Especially those women. They promised they'd help me handle official business, but when it actually mattered, I have no clue where they ran off to."
Tier was so irritated she almost exploded. A pool of water appeared in her hand, and she shoved Cole's head straight into it.
"Then go find those women! What are you doing here with me!?"
Cole blinked, speaking from inside the water.
"Glug glug… glug glug… glug…"
The water ball bubbled nonstop.
Tier was so mad she nearly laughed. She could only disperse the water.
"Now talk properly."
Cole's lips curled. He flipped the situation in one motion, pinning Tier down on the bed as he smiled.
"What I was trying to say is— you're a little maid I've already conquered. Are you actually planning to resist your great master?"
Tier's cheeks instantly flushed. She kicked her long, slender legs in frustration.
"You awful human… are you going into heat again!? Then go find Nel! Why do you always come to me every day!?"
Cole sighed and said, "Because Nel always likes turning into a little girl form. I'm not into lolis…"
As he spoke, Cole looked at Tier's curvy figure and kissed her with a smile.
"Besides… you don't seem to hate it that much either."
Tier's face grew even redder.
At the Wandenreich, inside the Ice Palace.
All the Sternritter had gathered, respectfully staring at the figure on the throne.
That man had long black hair and a beard, deep and fierce features, crimson eyes, and three silver badges on each side of his collar.
A dark red cloak draped over his shoulders, and his expression was cold and merciless.
He simply sat on the throne, saying nothing—quietly watching Jugram and the other Sternritter.
Because of him, the atmosphere in the Ice Palace was suffocating.
And since he didn't speak, no one else dared to speak either.
The silence only grew heavier, cold sweat sliding down foreheads.
Because this man was none other than…
The King of the Quincies they had waited a thousand years for.
Yhwach!!!
As casually as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, as casually as a sparrow crossing the sky—
This king who had slept for a thousand years opened his eyes with no warning at all and looked at them coldly.
No one knew how much time passed before Yhwach finally spoke. His gaze turned to Jugram.
"Haschwalth. You're my most trusted subordinate, but now it seems… I overestimated your capabilities."
Jugram stood, shame written across his face.
"Your Majesty. It is my incompetence…"
Even though Yhwach hadn't said anything else yet, Jugram already knew what he meant.
Under Jugram's rule, the Wandenreich had been overturned by a mere Soldat, leaving them with only the territory around the Ice Palace.
If Yhwach had awakened just a few years later, perhaps even the Ice Palace would have been swallowed into the Military Police's domain.
Quilge Opie swallowed hard and said nervously, "Your Majesty, this isn't Haschwalth's fault. That Quincy named Cole is simply too strong. You've only just awakened, so you may not know—his Quincy Vollständig (Complete Holy Form) can almost affect the reishi allegiance of half the Wandenreich—"
"Shut up, Opie!"
Jugram immediately snapped at Quilge.
He had once exchanged power with Yhwach, so he knew Yhwach's Schrift ability.
The Almighty.
To see the future.
To change the future.
In other words, from the moment Yhwach awakened, he could already use the Almighty.
Even without anyone explaining, he could see future scenes through that ability.
Opie's "report" was less a briefing and more an insult—like he was underestimating His Majesty's power.
Quilge Opie hurriedly shut his mouth.
He was also afraid of angering Yhwach.
A thousand years ago, more than a few powerful Quincies had been executed on the spot for offending Yhwach.
The Ice Palace fell back into suffocating silence.
After about ten minutes, Yhwach finally spoke again.
"Haschwalth. Tell me about this Soldat called Cole. Let me properly understand this madman."
"Hm!?"
Jugram lifted his head in shock.
He never expected that after awakening, with Yhwach's personality—
He would focus so much on a "traitor" by name.
Normally, wouldn't Yhwach just go kill Cole immediately?
Unless…
Something was wrong with His Majesty's power…
Jugram didn't dare think further. He respectfully began introducing Cole to Yhwach.
Jugram didn't dare think it—but others dared.
They stared at Yhwach, strange looks slowly surfacing in their eyes.
This king who had slept for a thousand years…
Could it be that something had gone wrong with his strength?
Paired with the earlier failure of Auswählen, a suspicion quietly formed in their hearts.
But everyone was wise enough not to become the first one to say it out loud.
However, there were exceptions.
Because inside the Ice Palace this time, it wasn't only Quincies present.
There were also two Arrancar Hollows who had been captured.
Over the past hundred years, they had been tamed by the Sternritter.
But in the past few months, they had gradually come into contact with the Military Police—and developed a powerful desire to join them.
Looking at Yhwach—who seemed "plain," without any visible aura of the King of the Quincies—
Then thinking of that Legion Commander who was like a god…
They quickly made their choice.
An Adjuchas-class Hollow named Azzkirolo Ebon suddenly stood up, staring at Yhwach with brutality as he sneered.
"Old bastard… looks like you're not as strong as the legends say. You don't even have one-tenth of Military Police Legion Commander-sama's strength—"
Another Adjuchas-class Hollow, Luders Friegen, threw his head back and laughed, then opened his mouth wide.
"Kill him!"
They still hadn't mastered Quincy power yet, so they unleashed their strongest Hollow ability without hesitation.
Cero.
One blue, one purple.
Two dazzling beams erupted from their mouths.
But the firing motion was far slower than other Adjuchas-class Hollows—nearly five times slower.
Such sluggish movements were more than enough for the surrounding Sternritter to stop them.
Yet for some reason, the seven or eight Sternritter nearby didn't lift a hand.
At most, they barked warnings and shouted.
Seeing that, Azzkirolo and Luders grew even more confident.
Even the Sternritter weren't stopping them—
That meant they also believed this old bastard wasn't that strong.
With that thought, the two didn't hesitate anymore. Their Cero shot out like lasers.
Jugram's expression was cold. Without a word, he lifted a finger, blue reishi gathering at his fingertip.
As Nödt frowned almost imperceptibly, wanting to stop Jugram.
Wouldn't it be better to test His Majesty's current strength?
But when he looked at Yhwach standing beside Jugram, an inexplicable fear rose in his heart—forcing him to abandon the thought.
That fear wasn't because of Yhwach's presence, or reishi allegiance, or anything like that.
It was bone-deep terror carved into him over a thousand years.
Just seeing Yhwach's face made fear surge from the bottom of his soul.
Forget it.
Even if they couldn't test him this time, it didn't matter.
With Legion Commander-sama around, he would definitely be able to probe His Majesty's condition…
As Nödt comforted himself, the blue and purple Cero tore through the air.
But before Jugram could act, Yhwach spoke coldly.
"Beasts are beasts. No matter how you teach them with human methods, you can't uproot the savagery in their bones."
Yhwach didn't appear to move at all.
Yet beside him, several small Heilig Pfeil (Holy Arrows) formed out of nothing.
The blue arrows shot out like lasers.
The instant they collided with the Cero—
Both Cero were shredded to pieces.
The blue arrows, still carrying terrifying force, continued onward.
Azzkirolo and Luders' faces changed drastically.
They never imagined that this "plain" old bastard—even after a thousand-year sleep—still had strength like this.
No time to hesitate.
The two turned and tried to flee the Ice Palace.
As long as they escaped and entered the Military Police's domain, they could save their lives.
That godlike Legion Commander-sama would definitely defeat this old bastard and become the new king of the Wandenreich.
But before they could run more than a few steps, the blue arrows behind them pierced straight through their bodies.
A power that annihilated everything erupted inside them, erasing their body structure like an eraser wiping ink.
In the blink of an eye, invisible force swallowed a huge portion of their bodies.
They crashed to the ground.
Heart-rending screams tore from their throats.
Aside from the hollow hole in their souls, a second blood-soaked hole had been carved into them.
The other Sternritter watched the scene and felt their hearts freeze, faces turning pale, sweat breaking out all over their bodies.
