Chapter 141 — Sukuna's… Super Evolution??

"What the hell did Sukuna just do?"

Inside the monitoring room, everyone stared at the sky outside turning pitch-black, dread crawling up their spines.

"That cursed energy… where is it all coming from?"

Even from miles away, Yuji and the others could feel it—an endless torrent of cursed energy drifting down from the heavens, pouring straight toward Sukuna's location like a divine storm.

"Non–sorcerers…? Don't tell me he's trying to absorb all the non–sorcerers?"

Yuki Tsukumo's voice shook.

If that was true, then this wasn't just a disaster—

It was the end of the world.

If Sukuna absorbed hundreds of millions of people, what kind of strength would he reach? It was beyond imagination.

Beyond curses.

Beyond sorcerers.

A being that stood above life itself—

godlike.

---

"No… something's off."

Okkotsu's eyes narrowed.

"The energy flowing into Sukuna—it's pure cursed energy. Nothing else."

If he were using true human assimilation, the stream would carry biological mass, impurities, remnants of human existence.

Not just energy.

"You're saying he's not absorbing the people… just the cursed energy inside them?"

Nanami murmured, piecing it together.

Everyone froze.

"That's… even possible?"

"It is possible," Yuki answered grimly.

"Sukuna isn't the same as before. He's taken over Tengen's body. And Tengen could merge with every non–sorcerer on the planet."

"If Sukuna has fully mastered Tengen's body, then selective absorption—taking only the cursed energy and discarding the body—might actually be within reach."

She clenched her fists.

"Culling Game is over, but its barriers still exist. Kenjaku's plan can still function—Sukuna simply changed the rules.

Instead of merging bodies…

He's siphoning away the cursed energy of every non–sorcerer."

Yuki exhaled slowly.

"If that's true… then the cursed energy problem I've been trying to solve my whole life would be gone."

If every non–sorcerer in the world lost their cursed energy…

Then the birth of curses would stop.

Curses would vanish.

It should've been the perfect solution.

But her expression only grew darker.

"Sukuna would become the most terrifying being ever born—fuelled by the power of hundreds of millions."

"One Sukuna like that…

could destroy the world."

She bit her lip.

Curses spreading is annoying—

but at least they only threaten Japan.

A Sukuna empowered by the world's energy?

He was a global extinction event in the shape of a man with four arms.

And worse—

He acted entirely on whim.

A walking apocalypse with mood swings.

The room fell silent as everyone clenched their fists.

"If Shinsuke and Gojo can't stop him…"

"Then we'll have no choice."

"Even if it kills us…"

"We fight."

Because if they didn't—

There would be no world left to save.

Meanwhile, at the very center of the battlefield…

A suffocating mass of cursed energy—so thick it felt like tar—wrapped around Sukuna, expanding larger and larger until it reached the height of an entire building.

Even Gojo's expression had tightened to its limit.

"Okay… how do we fight this?"

Sukuna's aura now was several times stronger than before—and this was only the cursed energy leaking out.

Shinsuke stared at the monstrous cocoon of energy. He reverted to his normal state with a helpless wave of his hand.

"We run. No point fighting that."

Who knew what the hell Sukuna had turned into?

And who'd still want to fight something like that? Just run.

"Oi, oi, oi— we're sorcerers! We can't just run away!"

Gojo snapped back immediately. He intended to fight until the last moment.

What if Sukuna was only bluffing? What if he hadn't actually changed?

Shinsuke shot him a look.

"I'm telling you: even if you gathered the entire sorcerer world, you still wouldn't kill him. Might as well leave early."

"And the civilians? We just watch them die?" Gojo countered.

"First of all, just because Sukuna is moody doesn't mean he'll slaughter everyone," Shinsuke replied bluntly.

"Second—if he does want to kill them all, you dying won't stop him anyway."

Harsh words.

But true.

Gojo fell silent.

Sukuna wasn't the type to kill indiscriminately.

He killed whatever annoyed him.

But what if humanity annoyed him?

Wouldn't that mean he'd wipe out the entire species?

Before Gojo could settle his thoughts—

A booming voice echoed from within the cursed-energy cocoon:

"Enough hesitation.

Anyone else, I might spare…

But the two of you—

must die."

A tidal wave of cursed energy surged outward.

Cracks spread across the cocoon, and from within emerged a colossal silhouette—like a mountain unfolding its limbs.

Two faces fully separated.

Four sets of eyes scanned the world in 360 degrees.

Six arms stretched out, each tens of meters long.

Sukuna now stood towering over Gojo and Shinsuke like a giant—taller than a twenty-story building—exuding suffocating pressure simply by existing.

Gojo stared up, dumbfounded.

"…Okay. I take it back. Running doesn't sound so bad."

This wasn't even a creature anymore.

This was a disaster.

Maybe they really should start considering nukes…

Shinsuke sighed.

"I told you to run earlier. You think he'd let us walk away now?"

He glanced up at Sukuna's new form, speechless.

Did this guy just evolve into a kaiju?

Where were the Ultra Brothers when you needed them?

He was just a regular human—how was he supposed to fight a monster?

Sukuna spread his six arms, madness dancing in his voices.

"This power… intoxicating."

"No wonder Kenjaku obsessed over creating the ultimate form of cursed energy."

"I suppose I'm only a half-finished product… but still—magnificent."

The thrill in his tone was unmistakable.

"If you two hadn't pushed me this far, I wouldn't have dared attempt something this reckless."

Sukuna laughed, voices echoing like thunder.

"You forced me to innovate—

to absorb ONLY cursed energy."

"Do you understand?"

"My body now holds the cursed energy of over ten million non-sorcerers."

"Even Kenjaku could never have imagined someone could withstand this much power and stay sane."

It was obvious Sukuna was at the brink—

this absorption pushed his consciousness to the limit.

If Gojo hadn't overloaded his brain earlier, Sukuna might have continued absorbing even more.

Shinsuke raised his hand.

"Well, since you're so grateful—how about letting us leave safely?"

Gojo stared at him in disbelief.

Really? THIS is the request you make??

Sukuna burst into hysterical laughter.

"Hahahahahaha!"

"I already said it—all others may live."

"But you two…"

"I will personally—

send you off."
