Phoebe's POV.
We exchanged shocked glances.
She checked our hands with a sincere worried look on her face.
"Do you know what you are saying?" Alpha Kingston snapped and withdrew his hand from her grasp.
"We are mates, how can you say we can't be together?" Alpha Kingston asked with a narked expression on his face.
"Mates!" Cindy exclaimed in shock.
"Yes, Phoebe is my mate" Alpha Kingston said without wavering while I was shaking.
"I had known about her being my mate from the first day I saw her. Why would the moon goddess put two people together if they would end up in tragedy!" Alpha argued strongly.
"You both might be mates but your relationship would only bring a tragic end for both of you and those around you. Though two people might be destined for each other that does not mean they would live a happy or fulfilling life" Mirabel added and stared at my palm.
