First of all, I want to thank everyone who supported Son of Heaven: The Rebirth (SOH) — your collections, comments, and encouragement meant a lot to me. However, after going through the story again, I realized that many parts felt rushed and didn't fully capture the depth or emotion I originally envisioned.
Instead of trying to patch and edit SOH piece by piece — which would have forced readers to search through countless updates to find what changed — I decided to start fresh. That decision gave birth to When Heaven Wept.
It's the same story at its core — the same world, characters, and spirit — but rewritten with more care, better pacing, deeper emotion, and a stronger connection to the characters you already love. Think of it as SOH, but refined and reborn, just like its title.
So if you enjoyed Son of Heaven: The Rebirth, I invite you to continue Yu Hanxiao's journey in When Heaven Wept.
This time, I promise — every tear, every fight, and every moment will hit even harder.
Thank you for growing with the story — and with me.
P.S: I will be taking SOH down soon.
— The Great Whyte
