Chapter 77 - Chapter 77 - I make no promises.

Back on the training plateau, Clone-Buu cracked his knuckles and stretched like he was preparing for a casual morning jog rather than facing two newly-empowered majin armed with Saiyan and Human DNA.

Bulma adjusted her gloves nervously.

Mai tied her hair in a tight ponytail, eyes narrowed with assassin-level concentration.

"Alright, ladies!" Clone-Buu announced in an upbeat, sing-song voice. "Boss-Buu says you need combat pressure, and pressure means fun! So come at me like you're trying to blow up the planet!"

"We are NOT blowing up the planet," Bulma snapped. "I just cleaned the lab two days ago."

Mai exhaled calmly. "Let's just try not to die."

Clone-Buu grinned. "I make no promises."

Before either woman could react, he split into three smaller clones—each equally pink, smug, and jiggly.

"OH, COME ON!" Bulma shouted as all three clones lunged at once.

Mai leapt backward, firing a burst of ki. The energy shot streaked forward—sloppy, unfocused, but hot enough to melt through stone—and one clone bent its body around it like rubber.

"Cute!" Clone-Buu chirped before snapping back and shoulder-tackling her.

Bulma, meanwhile, activated her gadget-enhanced training bracelet. Light flared around her hand. "I call THIS the—uh—Super-Buu-Slapper!"

Clone-Buu blinked. "The what?"

Bulma slapped him across the face with a shockwave that sounded like a thunderclap.

He spun in the air like a helicopter rotor and face-planted into the dirt.

Mai paused. Clone-Buu paused. Bulma lowered her hand.

"…Did I actually just—?"

Clone-Buu slowly raised his head out of the ground. He was smiling.

"Ohhhh you're fun today."

"WHY DID HE SAY IT LIKE THAT!?" Bulma squealed.

Chaos erupted instantly. Mai ducked under a pink limb stretched like taffy. Bulma deflected a ki orb with her bracelet only for it to ricochet and blow up a cliff. Clone-Buu cackled as he divided again.

Soon there were five Clone-Buus.

Bulma screamed. Mai cursed. One Clone-Buu took a selfie. Another tried to suplex Bulma. A third chased Mai in circles shouting, "HUG TIME!"

Through all the madness, however… the women began to adapt.

Bulma's reactions sharpened. Mai's ki stabilized. Their attacks grew stronger, faster, cleaner.

At one point they both charged simultaneously—Bulma from above, Mai from below—landing a synchronized strike that blasted one Clone-Buu into a crater.

The remaining clones clapped.

"Well done! Boss-Buu will be proud!"

Bulma and Mai collapsed onto the grass, bruised but exhilarated.

Clone-Buu, perfectly fine, offered them water bottles.

"Again tomorrow?" he asked cheerfully.

Both women groaned in unison.

While chaos unfolded on the plateau, the real Buu and Fasha landed on the sand where a young, bald monk—Krillin—was doing pushups on one finger.

He looked up, sweaty and exhausted. "Oh, uh—hi? Are you two friends of Master Roshi?"

Buu nodded. "We come visit."

"Cool! I'm Krillin. I've been training here for months!"

Fasha watched him silently.

Krillin felt a shiver run down his spine.

"You're… strong," she muttered unexpectedly. "Small, but strong."

Krillin beamed. "Th-thanks! I'm doing my best!"

Before more introductions could happen:

WHAM!

The front door burst open and a blonde girl flew out—literally—firing a machine gun into the sky.

"WHO TOOK MY PANCAKES!?" she shouted furiously.

Krillin dove behind a rock.

Fasha stepped aside calmly.

Buu tilted his head.

The girl landed, reloaded, and glared at them. "Well? One of you took my breakfast?"

"No," Buu replied politely. "But I like you."

The girl blinked. "Uh… thanks? Wait-"

Then Launch sneezed.ACHOO!

Instantly she transformed into a sweet blue-haired version.

"Oh! Hello there!" she said with a bright smile. "Would you like some tea?"

Master Roshi finally shuffled out with sunglasses and a grin. "Are you sure you don't want my training? A lovely lady such—"

Fasha cracked her knuckles.

Roshi straightened instantly. "A—AHEM. Nevermind!"

Buu was a little angry. "Old man, she is mine. Don't make me do something that we may regret later. ."

Roshi nodded. "T-then sit back and enjoy, because Krillin here is about to attempt the Boulder-Lift Challenge!"

Krillin gulped. "I am?"

"You are now," Roshi said.
