Epilogue
1 year anniversary
Haruto gave him a bouquet and also a bag as a gift. Junkyu got Haruto a watch. They took a leave and went out on a date that day. They also rolled around in the sheets all night. Junkyu had to take a leave the next day too. Haruto had to go outside for work, so he came back home pretty quickly.
He saw Junkyu sitting on the couch and watching something. He smiled brightly when he saw Haruto. Haruto put his bag aside and plopped down next to Junkyu. Junkyu kissed Haruto's cheek. Haruto knew something was up. " What is it ? " " Umm... I am thinking of changing companies ".
Haruto's eyebrows shot up. " Why ? " " We haven't been able to be open about it. Not like something will happen if we did, but I don't want to take the little chance too. I applied for a team leader position and they asked me to give an interview. If you say it is fine, I will go for it ". Haruto gave it a thought.
" Then I have something to say too ". Junkyu turned to sit facing Haruto. " They told me they are going to make a few position changes with promotions. They want me to go up a level ". Junkyu was surprised. " If I do, I will need an assistant. I thought of recommending your name ". " Me ? " Haruto nodded.
" Regardless of what we do, people will talk about it. And honestly I do think you are very capable of being my assistant. You came with me for two meetings and I really liked your work. I would also be happy to have you by my side ". Junkyu chuckled. " That seems like the actual reason to me ".
Haruto laughed. " If you do change companies, what if we are suspected of giving data to each other ? " Junkyu was shook. Haruto chuckled. " Ugh ". Junkyu hit Haruto on his arm. Haruto pulled Junkyu's legs onto his. " So don't think too much. Once they see you work, they will not talk anymore ". Junkyu nodded.
Haruto smiled and rubbed his head. Junkyu leaned closer. " Before all of that... can we get married ? " Haruto's hand, which was stroking Junkyu's thigh, froze. " We can tell our friends and a few colleagues too. Then it really wouldn't be a problem right ? " Junkyu looked down. Haruto lifted his chin and kissed him hard.
Junkyu's eyes went wide and slowly kissed back. Haruto pulled away and grinned. He pecked his lips again. " Alright ". Junkyu's eyes widened. " Really ? " Haruto nodded with a happy smile. " Let's do it ". Junkyu got on Haruto's lap and hugged him. " Shall we ask our parents to meet ? " " Okay ". Junkyu hugged Haruto tighter.
They first informed their friends when they all met up at the bar. They were very happy for them and volunteered to help whenever necessary. They had a nice time that day. Their parents met in the next few days and they settled on a date in two months. Time really seemed to fly by. They couldn't stop the curl of their lips when their eyes met and finished the vows.
One year marriage anniversary
It has been a year since they got married. Junkyu was given the post of Haruto's assistant after he went up in position. They also announced their relationship to their colleagues at that time. They received two shocks at once. Since it was out, they also invited them to their marriage. They all celebrated it happily.
There were people who gossiped and ones who were genuinely happy for them. But they couldn't care any less. They were busy with their own lives to care about other people. They did their things without any problem. Junkyu was indeed very efficient like Haruto said. They were able to work with tactic understanding which made things faster.
They went on a trip just like they have always wanted to. They were currently on a vacation as it was their wedding anniversary. They went to a place Junkyu picked. They had a whole of 10 days. It has been three days since they went there and they were having a lot of fun. Junkyu pulled Haruto to the bedroom as soon as they entered the room.
Junkyu kissed him, taking Haruto by surprise. Haruto also responded and walked to the bed. They fell on it and Haruto continued giving kisses along his face. Junkyu pulled Haruto's shirt out of the way. " Hubby~ " Junkyu called out in a sweet voice. " Yeah ? " Haruto continued kissing his neck.
" Listen to me~ " Haruto chuckled and pulled away. " What is it ? " " Should we try knotting ? " Haruto raised an eyebrow. " My heat is tomorrow. It didn't go out of cycle these days. So it has to be tomorrow. So in these coming days... Can we try it ? " Haruto looked into his eyes. " You really want to do it ? " Junkyu nodded without hesitation.
" I think it would be nice to increase our family size ". Junkyu's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. " Honey ". Haruto called out. Junkyu looked down and bit the inside of his cheek. Haruto kissed his lips. " If you are willing to, then I will listen to you. I would love to have kids too. We can also start saving more from now on ".
Junkyu nodded but then his eyes went wide. " And who said kids ? I only thought kid ". Haruto chuckled at the protest. He kissed Junkyu's cheek. " Then... let's get that done. So that your wish will be fulfilled ". " Haruto~ " Haruto laughed. " Yes baby ". Junkyu pouted.
Haruto chuckled, caressing his cheeks. " I want them to be as cute as you ". " I want them to be handsome like you though ". Junkyu replied. Haruto narrowed his eyes. " Then we really need to have kids ". Junkyu's eyes went wide. Haruto smirked and pulled the sheets over them.
2 months later
Junkyu felt his stomach churn. He woke up and rushed to the bathroom. He puked the food he ate for dinner. Haruto woke up when Junkyu got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. He patted Junkyu's back. He wanted to release his pheromones to help but Junkyu shook his head. He pulled Haruto's shirt.
" Don't ". Haruto didn't release them and hugged Junkyu. Junkyu leaned onto Haruto and panted. It has been like this for a week now. " Let's go to the hospital tomorrow ". Junkyu nodded. Haruto carried him back into the bedroom and hugged him to sleep. The next day they made an appointment and Haruto did feel a bit anxious.
He made sure to make not too greasy foods so Junkyu could have more but even after that he would puke. The doctor sat down and Haruto turned to Junkyu. Junkyu shook his head. Haruto let out a sigh. " Congratulations ". Haruto was shocked. He stared at the doctor in confusion. " You are going to be parents ".
Haruto felt his heart pick up pace. He turned to Junkyu and Junkyu nodded. Haruto grinned and held Junkyu's hand. " Thank you so much ". The doctor smiled. " We did all the tests and everything is fine. You can consult the nutritionist to talk about the diet and other things you need to be careful about ".
" Okay doctor ". The doctor wrote a slip and gave it to the nurse. " Please come with me ". The both of them stood up. " Thank you doctor ". The doctor smiled and both of them walked out. Haruto listened to everything attentively and even took some notes on his phone. They went back home after that.
Junkyu put the things away and saw Haruto sitting on the couch. He had been quiet through the ride too. " Ruto ". Haruto saw Junkyu and got up. He put his hands around his thighs and picked him up. Junkyu was perplexed. He twirled them around and Junkyu burst out laughing. " I will feel dizzy ".
Haruto stopped and put Junkyu down carefully. He gave a kiss to Junkyu and then kissed his forehead. He put his forehead against Junkyu's. " Thank you so much ". Haruto said in a small voice. Junkyu looked up and put his hands around Haruto. He shook his head. Haruto hugged him with a smile.
" You know you are going to go through so much too from now on ". Junkyu warned, making Haruto laugh. Haruto pulled back. " Bring it on ". Junkyu laughed and pecked Haruto's cheek. " I love you ". " I love you too ". Junkyu hugged Haruto again.
