And like Haruto promised, he was there waiting like usual on the opposite side. Junkyu smiled and went up to him. He hugged him tightly, making Haruto laugh. " I am not sick or anything ". Junkyu pulled away. " But it is difficult, isn't it ? " Haruto shrugged. " Tsk ". Junkyu went to get in the car.
They drove to the office and Junkyu got out of the car first. Junghwan who just arrived noticed him getting out of Haruto's car and smiled. He got out of his car and walked to the elevator too. Junkyu was waiting for it to come down. " Junkyu hyung ? " Junkyu froze when he heard Doyoung's voice.
" What are you doing here ? " Junkyu turned around and saw Doyoung. Junghwan who was nearby heard the question too. He understood from Junkyu's expression that he didn't tell Doyoung. " Good morning ". Junghwan interrupted them. Both of them turned to him and greeted him back. " Good morning sir ".
Junghwan nodded and turned to Doyoung with a smile. " Doyoung-ssi, good to see you in the morning itself ". " Yeah ? " Doyoung was a bit confused. Junghwan engaged him in a conversation and they entered the elevator. Haruto also walked up to them in the meantime. Junkyu took out his phone and texted Haruto. He saw Haruto take out his phone.
Junkyu : Doyoung saw me just now. What do I do ?
Haruto : Make up some excuse ?
Junkyu : What kind of logic would make sense for what I did ?
Haruto : Tell him that a colleague of yours gave you a lift. Don't give any names. I don't think he would question it.
Junkyu : Okay.
Junkyu put his phone away. He was still a bit worried. Junghwan did take Doyoung away with him and gave Junkyu a nod. Junkyu thanked him with his expression. Junghwan smiled and walked away. Junkyu did feel a bit relieved. But he decided to get Haruto to drop him off at the cafe from now on.
Haruto would probably be a bit stubborn about it. But he can just coax him. In the evening, all of them were gathered as the team leaders said they had an announcement. " I think you guys forgot but it is time for our department trip ". All of them cheered. " Since you guys don't want to go to beaches anymore, let's go to the mountains ".
" Yay !! " " We will leave on Thursday morning around 10. Frankly speaking, there is no need to hurry. That day, we will only go there and settle down but the next two days you will have things to do. But please don't come too late ". All of them laughed. " We will start again on Sunday morning to come back so that you can rest a little and come back to work on Monday ".
All of them laughed. " Everyone got it right ? " " YES ! " " Pack clothes properly and don't fall sick ". " YES SIR ! " They all dispersed and were allowed to go home. Junkyu saw Haruto asking him to meet at the cafe. He waited outside and Haruto came in no time. He got in and they left the place.
They went to Haruto's house like usual. " Do you want to go shopping tomorrow ? " Junkyu shook his head. " I should have enough things ". Haruto nodded, looking a bit dejected. It piqued Junkyu's interest. " Why ? " Haruto shrugged. " Well... I thought we could get couple sweaters or scarves ". Junkyu laughed.
He pinched Haruto's cheeks. Haruto moved forward kissing him. Junkyu kissed back and laughed when they pulled away. " You want to get caught ? " Haruto rolled his eyes. Junkyu grinned. " I don't mind getting them. But maybe not to the office though ". Haruto nodded. " And we need not really get exact matching ones to be a couple ".
Junkyu suggested. Haruto raised an eyebrow. Junkyu got up and pulled Haruto with him. He looked at Haruto's clothes. " You have this black sweater and I will pack a black hoodie. Then... oh. This ash color cardigan. I have a hoodie of this color too. How about it ? " " Alright ". Junkyu grinned. Haruto hugged him from behind.
" You don't forget to pack extra sets of clothes besides the required ones and also make sure to have a thick jacket just in case ". Junkyu nodded. He went back home the next evening and packed everything while on a video call with Haruto. Haruto was also packing his things and reminding him of all that he should take with him. They were soon done with it.
