Zyra kept thinking about each and every word that Dexter spoke before he died. It had been two days and she still hadn't gotten over it. Her fingers tapped on the desk beside her laptop which was open and unlocked but not busy, she stared out the window still trying to piece things together.
Victor stepped into the room and she turned around, giving his a faint smile.
"Welcome home my love". Zyra welcomed him.
He walked up to her placing what he was holding on the table beside her, he placed a kiss on her forehead before kneeling with one knee to the ground, while he placed his hands atop hers and stared in her eyes, he was still worried about his wife.
"How are you feeling my love?". He asked.
"Good". She spoke with the same faint smile.
"You haven't been good since Dexter". He spoke worriedly.
Zyra breath down before speaking. "It's just a lot to process but I'll be fine".
"Are you sure?".
"Yeah".
