Down the narrow hallway of Miyu's simple house, Renji made his way to the guest room.
It was a tiny space with a single bed pushed against the wall, a worn wooden dresser, and a curtained window overlooking a neglected backyard.
"You can change in here," she said, her face nervous and unassuming. "There's a bathroom to the left. You can uhm… take as long as you want."
She turned away, but her steps hesitated, a subtle pause that Renji caught, making his intuition tingle.
'Yeah, she would want that, wouldn't she?' he thought with a smirk. 'To take as long as I want.'
He didn't want to look at the door but he knew she hadn't closed it fully. He didn't even hear the click.
This excited him. Knowing she was watching, and knowing that she didn't know that he knew that she was watching.
It made his heart race with a mix of thrill and cunning.
