Sasuke's grin stretched wide, brimming with confidence.
"Hahahaha! In front of an Uchiha, no matter what Bloodline Limit you possess, you will never succeed! We Uchiha are invincible!" he roared.
Deidara, hovering on his bird, burst into laughter. "Hahaha! That's all? I expected some earth-shattering Ninjutsu, and this is it? You think this fireball alone will pierce Ashveil's defense?"
Deidara activated his usual taunt mode, smirking as he watched Sasuke's bravado. He almost regretted not stopping the Uchiha himself—he had been looking forward to putting him through a proper lesson, avenging the old wounds inflicted by his clan's actions. But Sasuke, reckless as always, had chosen his own path to challenge Ashveil. Deidara could only watch now, furious yet entertained.
Tobi, perched on his clay dragon, added mockery. "I heard your clan was massacred by Itachi. Didn't think he'd spare a weakling like you!"
Sasuke felt utterly humiliated. Even his grand display of a giant fireball was met with scorn from criminals and mercenaries. His rage boiled over.
"You hateful bastards! You will die here today!" he shouted, summoning the fireball larger than ever.
Ashveil remained perfectly still. No defense, no movement. He simply stood, absorbing the searing inferno on the spot. Sasuke's eyes widened in disbelief. How could a mere mortal absorb his Ninjutsu without flinching? Even his supposed Absolute Defense seemed inferior.
The Akatsuki members in the sky, including Deidara and Tobi, shared the same stunned expressions. Obito, controlling the battlefield with his Sharingan, could scarcely believe it. Only a Rinnegan user could wield such absorption, yet here stood Ashveil, calmly nullifying Sasuke's flames.
Deidara's shock mirrored Obito's. Ashveil's techniques were vast and seemingly limitless. Just when it seemed his arsenal was exhausted, he revealed more top-tier techniques. It was terrifying—this was a being beyond comprehension, and the very existence of such a fighter challenged everything they knew about power.
Sasuke, enraged and humiliated, clawed at his hair, electricity crackling around his body. His veins bulged as he unleashed a storm of lightning and fire, attempting to overwhelm Ashveil with a Lightning Kirin. Thunder rumbled as the sky itself seemed to bend to his power.
"Feel the wrath of my Lightning Kirin!" Sasuke shouted, triumphant.
Deidara and Tobi, unimpressed, mocked him relentlessly. "You noisy brat, you're so annoying. That Kirin? It won't work. Face the truth—you're done for against Ashveil!"
Sasuke fumed. Why was it so impossible to show off here? Why could none of his power intimidate this man?
On the ground, the Lightning Kirin hurtled toward Ashveil, looking unstoppable. Sasuke's grin widened, sure of his impending victory. But Ashveil moved at the last second, spreading his arms slightly.
Sasuke staggered, expecting a counterattack, only to realize nothing came. The Kirin, still massive and charged, collided with Ashveil… and was completely absorbed.
Obito's eyes widened in shock. Twice now, Ashveil had effortlessly absorbed Ninjutsu that should have been destructive beyond imagination. The implications were staggering. Could Ashveil possess the power of a Rinnegan user?
Sasuke froze, stunned, tingling across his scalp as reality sank in. He had defeated Naruto and Sakura alone, flaunting his strength, yet here he was utterly powerless. Not even a shred of confidence remained.
Ashveil stood silently, his calm aura untouched by the chaos around him. His mastery over absorption techniques and Conqueror's Haki had proven once again that he was a force beyond reckoning—a monster that even elite ninjas like Sasuke could not comprehend.
