Chapter 243 - 243: When Speed Defies Light

"You lowly humans, how dare you disrespect me. Do you wish to die?"

Zeus continued shouting arrogantly while flailing helplessly in the sky.

Whitebeard Edward Newgate's eyes narrowed instantly.

In the next moment, he acted.

Whitebeard did not use much strength, but the power he wielded was still the Tremor Tremor Fruit, the most destructive Paramecia type Devil Fruit in the Pirate World.

A violent vibration rippled through the air.

Crack.

Zeus's bones shattered under the shockwave.

"Ahhh!"

He screamed as fresh blood sprayed from his mouth, his face turning deathly pale.

Only then did Zeus realize the reality of his situation. These were not weak beings he could trample at will.

His arrogance collapsed instantly, and he fell silent.

"Hmph," Whitebeard snorted coldly. "Our world once had a fool who also called himself a god. He was beaten so badly by Ashveil that he fled across dimensions like a frightened dog."

"If you want to live, you'd better behave."

Golden Lion Shiki released his ability. Zeus dropped heavily to the ground, dust billowing as he crashed. From that moment on, he did not dare utter another word.

Even the Shinobi world grew uneasy as they watched Broly.

Naruto clenched his jaw. "This guy doesn't look normal at all. Could he be some kind of special Jinchuriki?"

Kakashi frowned slightly. "No. In his world, even creatures like Tailed Beasts are probably inferior to humans."

"He himself is the beast."

The Sage of Six Paths stared in silence, cold sweat forming on his back. In all the eras he had witnessed, neither Kaguya nor any other existence came close to Ashveil or Broly.

The One Punch Man world had already fallen into despair.

The Hero Association, civilians, and even hardened fighters could clearly see their fate if Broly achieved final victory.

On the battlefield, the energy inside Broly swelled violently.

When it reached its peak, he expelled it forward.

Naruto's eyes widened. "Kakashi sensei. Look at that. Isn't that like a Tailed Beast Ball?"

A massive energy blast surged toward Ashveil, lighting up the heavens.

Ashveil's gaze sharpened. He raised his palm.

Golden light erupted, merging seamlessly with his Conqueror's Haki.

The result was a massive radiant fist formed from the Glint Glint Fruit and overwhelming will.

The fist collided head on with Broly's energy blast.

Boom.

The explosion shook the entire planet. Dust, debris, and shattered terrain were hurled in every direction.

The spectators were stunned. This super artificial planet had endured battles between monsters, yet this single clash caused visible damage across its surface.

"Ashveil, don't lose," voices from the Pirate World murmured under clenched fists.

Ashveil frowned.

Not because his attack was dispersed.

But because Broly had vanished.

The speed was terrifying.

Even with the Glint Glint Fruit, Ashveil questioned whether he could keep up.

In the next instant, Broly appeared behind him.

Ashveil's Conqueror's Haki barrier had not fully reformed.

"Die," Broly snarled, "You're no different from that bald man. Slightly amusing, but nothing more."

Muscles bulged. Power surged.

Boom.

Broly's fist descended.

Yet just before contact, Ashveil vanished.

Broly froze, staring at his empty fist.

He had missed.

That sensation felt disturbingly familiar.

"Instant Transmission?" Broly muttered, eyes narrowing.

His expression turned serious.

In that brief exchange, their positions had already changed.

Most spectators never saw it. The speed surpassed perception.

Within the Shinobi world, Naruto shouted in confusion. "What just happened? They switched places."

Kakashi activated his Sharingan but saw nothing definitive. "Some kind of spatial technique."

Uchiha Madara nodded slightly.

Only the Sage of Six Paths sensed something deeper.

"No," he said slowly. "Broly did not use space. He moved purely through physical speed."

Silence followed.

The Pirate World was shaken. Ashveil's movement was known, but Broly's speed was something else entirely.

Even Mihawk's eyes gleamed with unease. "I couldn't trace his movement at all."

In the One Punch Man world, Child Emperor's fingers flew across his console.

His face turned stiff.

"His speed exceeded light."

Shock rippled outward.

Tatsumaki stared. "That's impossible."

Metal Knight confirmed it with his own data.

Even Boros, watching from his ship, was left speechless. Such speed eclipsed even interstellar travel.

On the battlefield, Broly slowly turned toward Ashveil.

"I didn't expect you to know Instant Transmission," he said.

Ashveil smiled faintly.

What Broly called Instant Transmission was merely a comparison.

Within the range of his Conqueror's Haki, Ashveil could move freely without delay, limitation, or preparation.

It was not long distance travel.

It was absolute control of the battlefield.

And that was something few possessed.
