Chapter 236 - 236: Broken Limits

Killer Bee, Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails, broke into a wild dance, spitting rhymes that praised Ashveil's overwhelming power.

The Raikage pressed his fingers against his forehead, exhaling in exasperation. Even after witnessing such sheer devastation—and even as part of the losing side—his brother still had the energy to dance like a madman.

Kakashi, the Fourth Hokage, Orochimaru, and other sharp-minded figures could only shake their heads at Bee's boundless spirit.

Meanwhile, in the Pirate World, the atmosphere shifted sharply.

Earlier, when they saw Saitama unleash his terrifying strength, many had worried. Even the Whitebeard Pirates—Whitebeard, Marco, Jozu, and others—had carried doubts. They feared Ashveil might not be able to stand against someone as absurdly powerful as the Bald Cape Hero.

After all, Ashveil had never fought an opponent like this before.

But when Ashveil released five massive Conqueror's Haki spheres into the sky, their confidence surged back instantly.

Each of those spheres carried enough power to destroy the arena countless times over.

And this was the first time anyone had seen Ashveil reach such a level since his battle with Imu.

Hawkeye Mihawk's eyes gleamed. The sharpness in his gaze intensified, his voice trembling with excitement.

"So this is Ashveil's true strength…?" he whispered.

"This power… how many times stronger is he now than before?"

Unable to restrain his excitement, Mihawk raised the Black Blade Yoru and released a tremendous slash toward the heavens.

Golden Lion Shiki watched in awe, clicking his tongue repeatedly.

"Mihawk… just watching Ashveil fight, and you break through like that? Truly impressive," Shiki said, unable to hide his envy.

Mihawk allowed a thin, confident smile to curl at the corner of his lips.

"If I can't comprehend at least one technique from a battle of this magnitude, then I don't deserve the title of World's Greatest Swordsman," he replied. His earlier slash had already proven his growth.

Shiki's face twisted slightly at the implication.

So if we don't break through, we don't deserve our titles…?

Refusing to be left behind, he activated his Devil Fruit ability, raising entire buildings from the ground with massive force.

Whitebeard, after hearing Shiki and Mihawk's exchange, felt a surge of pride stir in his chest. He refused to allow age to define him, especially not when the power Ashveil wielded included the tremor ability he himself had mastered.

He had watched countless battles of Ashveil. It was time he learned something from them.

Even comprehending one-tenth of Ashveil's tremor mastery would elevate him drastically.

Whitebeard clenched his fist and unleashed his quake power without hesitation.

The world shook violently. The ground rumbled endlessly, and the seafloor convulsed, triggering a massive seaquake that sent the ocean roaring.

The Whitebeard Pirates nearly rolled their eyes out of their skulls.

Even the newly integrated Shinobi World felt the effects. While Six Paths-level individuals like Uchiha Madara, the Sage of Six Paths, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke were unaffected, ordinary Kage-level fighters trembled with shock.

Onoki, master of Earth Release, felt the difference keenly. Though his techniques could reshape landscapes, compared to Whitebeard's tremor power, they paled significantly.

"I never imagined that the people of this world possessed so many monsters…" Onoki muttered. The hardened old Tsuchikage could not hide his awe.

He had underestimated these pirates.

That lion-man, the swordsman Mihawk, and now this old titan Whitebeard—just those three alone were beyond super Kage-level.

Before his words even settled, Kizaru lazily raised a hand and began to act.

"Yasakani no Magatama."

Countless beams of light rained down from the sky. Each impact sent the already disturbed sea into an even greater frenzy.

All across the Pirate World, countless powerhouses—stimulated by Ashveil's battle—began showing signs of breakthrough.

The ground shook, the seas roared, and the air buzzed with unleashed auras.

Of course, Ashveil himself remained unaware of the chaos. He had revealed only a fraction of his true power, yet the entire Pirate World was erupting because of it.

Right now, Ashveil's eyes narrowed, fully focused on Saitama as the hero prepared his next attack.

Consecutive Normal Punches.

Saitama poured every ounce of energy in his body into this barrage. The shockwaves formed gigantic tornadoes stretching across the entire arena even before the punches landed.

The battlefield warped under the force.

Nearby, the [Space-Time Pendulum] trembled violently, its glow dimming.

Ashveil briefly raised an eyebrow.

Was the Sky-Time Pendulum weakening?

Even with the intensity of this clash, it shouldn't be dimming this much. And it hadn't strengthened or expanded the planet the way it usually did during large-scale battles.

Perhaps it was nearing its limit.

But he dismissed the thought swiftly. His attention returned to Saitama.

Saitama's punch winds collided against the five Conqueror's Haki spheres. Violent waves of power surged outward in a storm of raw destruction.

Fragments of Conqueror's Haki were hurled across the world.

A red magma-infused fragment fell into a lake. The water instantly boiled, exploding into steam, and within a minute the entire lake evaporated into nothing but a massive crater.

A white ice fragment dropped into the ocean, freezing the sea solid within a radius of ten thousand kilometers. The surrounding temperature plummeted instantly.

A yellow light-speed fragment crashed against a mountain, blowing the peak apart and splitting a river cleanly in half.

A tremor-infused fragment struck the ground, sending cracks racing in every direction, turning the entire arena floor into a web of ravines.

A thunder-infused fragment soared skyward, and lightning storms erupted across the world.

It was as if the planet itself had turned into a vision of the apocalypse.

And this wasn't even the real clash yet.

Saitama's physical fist tore upward, ripping open space with every movement. Spatial fissures split open behind him, accompanied by roars of thunder.

His battle spirit surged, intense enough to manifest a colossal golden dragon aura spiraling around him.

Genos, watching from the One-Punch Man World, felt his mechanical heart jolt.

"To think Sensei would reach this realm because of Ashveil…"

He trembled with excitement.

His teacher had broken the very last limiter—breaking free of every boundary of their world. Saitama had reached the height of a god.

Bang approached Genos, his brows furrowed.

"Genos, what is this limiter? You say the Bald Cape Hero broke the final layer and reached godhood. Explain."

Genos nodded seriously and addressed everyone in the Hero Association.

"The limiter is simply the natural limit of a human being. Some rare individuals can break it—evolving into a higher realm of power."

"Each time you break a limiter, your strength increases exponentially."

"And Sensei… has broken all of them."

"In our world, no one surpasses him."

The room fell silent.

If Saitama had broken every limiter, then he had reached the ceiling of power in the One-Punch Man World. Something even gods would fail to surpass.

Atomic Samurai swallowed.

"So… does that mean our world is going to win?"

Genos shook his head.

"That depends. Ashveil is not from our dimension. The rules of our world don't apply to him."

"We don't know how many times he can break his limiter. If Ashveil has broken his limiter more times than Sensei… then Ashveil will win."

Everyone's faces went pale.

Saitama had reached the absolute maximum their world could offer—and still, it might not be enough.

Even the Shinobi World shared the same dread.

Uchiha Madara clenched his jaw.

"I believe Ashveil… will still be the victor."

Naruto stared at the sky, eyes wide.

"It's unbelievable… someone from another dimension can actually fight someone like Ashveil…"
