Chapter 292 - Chapter 292: Your Majesty, Allow Me to Cling to Your Leg!

"Should we go directly to the Evil Demon Forest to ask the Evil Emperor where the Blue Silver Emperor is? Or should we search forest by forest? I remember, the Blue Silver Emperor on this continent isn't in the Evil Demon Forest. For a single Blue Silver Grass to cultivate close to 200,000 years and never be discovered, it must be in some ancient forest rarely trodden by humans. There aren't many forests like that."

Spreading the map on the table, Yang Yunhai studied it as he spoke.

After a moment, he looked up at Ghost Douluo.

"Uncle, let's search these mountain ranges and forests one by one. Along the way, we can also scout the state of this continent. With our flying speed and my Blue Silver Grass perception ability, it won't take too long to find it."

In terms of overall size, the Sun Moon Continent was indeed much smaller than the Douluo Continent.

"Alright." Ghost Douluo was as concise as ever.

"Good. Today we'll purchase some supplies in the city, and tomorrow we set out." Yang Yunhai smiled. "Afterward, we'll also visit the capital of the Sun Moon Empire, Mingdu."

"Since the Soul Tool technology here is advanced and cheap, we should buy some useful ones to bring back. If we can learn some civilian Soul Tool technology, it will help our continent's development as well."

"As for combat Soul Tool technology, forget it. Cultivation itself is like rowing upstream. While Soul Tool weapons are convenient, researching and using them also demands energy."

"If soul masters get obsessed with them, their cultivation will only be wasted. That would not be good for our soul master world."

"Uncle, you must have noticed along the way—traces of Soul Tools are everywhere here."

"The people of this continent are obsessed with Soul Tool technology, and don't pay much attention to cultivation. Over time, their overall soul master strength may decline. Such a thing, digging up their own foundation, is not something we should imitate."

"Even if we bring back civilian Soul Tool technology, it must be strictly controlled," Ghost Douluo said solemnly.

"Once that door is opened, it will only develop out of control."

"When we return, I'll discuss it with Xue'er. Everything must wait until the continent is unified, so it can be regulated properly," Yang Yunhai replied seriously.

"Hmm." Ghost Douluo nodded slightly.

After finishing their meal, the two left the inn to buy supplies.

The next morning, they set out southward, heading first to the Zhenling Mountains.

Two days later, they arrived, only to find nothing—at best, Blue Silver Grass with 10,000 year cultivation.

A few days later, they moved on to the second stop, the Binglun Mountains.

Then the third, the Muying Highlands.

"So many dark-attribute soul beasts… they'd really suit Zhuqing's martial soul," Yang Yunhai remarked, impressed by what he saw.

They continued onward, flying northward, passing over the rarely-trodden Langhua Plateau. They briefly stayed by the Yue Coast—reputed as one of the world's most beautiful places—where they encountered many strange soul beasts not found on Douluo Continent.

After a night's rest, they pressed forward again.

As he looked at the landscape, Yang Yunhai couldn't help but think of the Tarim Basin from his past life.

He had to admit, in terms of living environment, Douluo Continent was much better than Sun Moon Continent. The southwest region of Sun Moon was all highlands and deserts—not very suitable for long-term human habitation.

Two days of flying later, they arrived at the Shangxian Mountain Range, stretching across the continent, connected with the Endless Mountains of the west coast and the Haori Desert Sea. The entire mountain range was cloaked in vast, ancient forest, so thick that one couldn't even glimpse the ground from the sky.

The two landed immediately.

Yang Yunhai sat cross-legged on the ground, releasing his spiritual power. Instantly, countless joyful emotions flowed back from the Blue Silver Grass.

'There are large numbers of Blue Silver Grass here.' That was Yang Yunhai's first thought.

Without hesitation, the two pressed forward. The deeper they went, the more Blue Silver Grass appeared. After an hour, Yang Yunhai extended his spiritual power again.

"Greetings, My Emperor." A silver-bell-like female voice rang in his mind, respectful and tinged with excitement.

"Senior, I've come today to ask for your aid," Yang Yunhai transmitted, using the spiritual link to "see" her form.

It was a massive ten-meter tree formed entirely of azure vines, its whole body veined with golden patterns.

Undoubtedly, this was a Blue Silver Emperor that had already cultivated to the 100,000 year level.

"Your Majesty, please speak freely," the silver voice replied.

"This matter is serious. Let's talk face to face," Yang Yunhai transmitted.

"Yes, I await Your Majesty's arrival here."

Yang Yunhai stood up, turning to Ghost Douluo. "Uncle, let's go."

Ghost Douluo nodded and followed him deeper inside.

Half an hour later, they arrived at a valley filled with Blue Silver Grass, with a stream trickling through.

Before them, the azure tree twisted its trunk, quickly forming a feminine human face.

"Greetings, My Emperor," it spoke aloud, its tone respectful.

"Yiner, Yao Ling, come out," Yang Yunhai said as he approached. Ghost Douluo stayed where he was.

The next second, Yiner and Yao Ling appeared at his sides.

The tree's face showed surprise, then confusion.

"Respected one, allow me to explain," said Yao Ling in human form.

"Alright, I'll trouble you then." Yang Yunhai nodded.

"It is my duty." Yao Ling floated to the great azure tree, pressing a hand to its trunk.

"Do not resist."

The next second, spiritual power spread out. The tree's face froze as a golden world-tree manifested in its mind, radiating endless light.

Moments later, Yao Ling withdrew his hand, speaking solemnly: "I believe you now understand how important this is to our kind."

"And this is also a rare opportunity for you to advance further."

"I am willing to contribute my strength," the tree-face said earnestly, its spiritual fluctuations filled with excitement.

It was indeed a chance she could not miss.

Yao Ling nodded and returned to Yang Yunhai's side.

"Senior, one more thing," Yang Yunhai asked.

"Your cultivation and bloodline have already reached the Blue Silver Emperor level. Why do you still call me Emperor?"

"Because your bloodline is nobler than mine," the tree-face answered respectfully. "Although I've cultivated to the 100,000 year level and can be called a Blue Silver Emperor, in terms of bloodline, I am far beneath you, who have reached an even higher level."

"Now, you are the sole True Emperor of our race."

"Under your exalted bloodline's influence, our kind's potential will surely rise higher."

'So it's about bloodline hierarchy.' Yang Yunhai understood.

At a 100,000 years, one could be an Emperor, but only one was the True Emperor: the one with the highest bloodline. Cultivation didn't matter—bloodline did. After all, higher bloodline meant greater potential for growth. That's why the Blue Silver King, though 80,000 years old, still bowed reverently to Tang San, who had just broken through rank 50. That was also why it gladly sacrificed its own cultivation to help him rise, all smiles.

This was clearly a race that needed to cling to powerful thighs.

The stronger the Emperor's bloodline, the more their people's potential would rise.

That was why Ah Yin's territory had both a Blue Silver King and countless 10,000 year Blue Silver Grass. And the female Blue Silver Emperor before him was the same.

Surrounded by myriad 10,000 year Blue Silver Grass, with endless lesser ones beyond—the deeper you went, the stronger they grew.

Yet outside these sanctuaries, Blue Silver Grass was little more than weeds.

'One prospers, all prosper. That's how it works.'

And now, as the one with the highest Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, the female Emperor before him was thrilled—desperate to cling to him, to raise her own bloodline further.

'Heh, shameless. Coveting my body, are you?'

He nodded slightly.

"Then I'll trouble you, Senior."
