IF-line: What if Yu were a girl named Yuuna, Sasuko and Naruko were boys named Sasuke and Naruto, and the timeline was set after the Uchiha massacre.

In the courtyard.

The morning sunlight was just right. Yuuna sat beside the stone table in the courtyard, a cup of clear tea at her side, focused on reading through a ninjutsu scroll.

She tilted her head slightly, one hand propping her cheek, several strands of ink-black hair falling over her shoulder.

Sunlight outlined her delicate profile, skin white as jade. When her long lashes lowered, they cast a small patch of soft shadow beneath her eyes.

Just sitting there, she naturally exuded an elegant and ethereal temperament.

"Yuuna-nee!"

An excited voice broke the tranquility.

Sasuke ran over quickly, face carrying rarely-seen bright spirits. "I succeeded! I can now spit out a five-meter Great Fireball!"

Hearing this, Yuuna gently set down the obscure and difficult S-rank Fire Style scroll in her hands.

She looked up, gaze softly falling on Sasuke, lips curving into a warm smile.

"Oh, five meters? That's wonderful."

"Being able to master it to this degree in such a short time, Sasuke is very impressive."

This unstinting praise made Sasuke's face slightly redden with embarrassment.

After the family suffered such upheaval, only Yuuna-nee had remained by his side.

No matter how small his progress, he could always receive the most timely affirmation from her—this gentle gaze had long become the strength supporting his continued growth.

Yuuna looked up at the sun already nearing its zenith, voice gentle. "Time really flies—it's lunchtime. Sasuke, let's eat out today."

"Oh, okay." Sasuke responded quietly.

"Is there anything you'd like to eat?" Yuuna asked naturally while organizing the scrolls on the stone table.

Sasuke shook his head, appearance very obedient. "Anything is fine. Whatever Yuuna-nee decides."

"Alright then, I know a newly opened noodle shop that's quite good." Yuuna stood up, extremely naturally extending her hand forward to gently grasp Sasuke's hand. "Let's go."

Space twisted slightly as both figures instantly vanished from the courtyard.

The next moment, before a newly opened noodle shop, the air rippled like water waves.

A black-haired girl holding a boy's hand quietly appeared.

The girl had an exquisite figure, black hair like a waterfall making her skin appear even more fair.

Most eye-catching were those translucent black eyes. When her gaze flowed, it naturally carried a temperament both gentle and distant.

Her appearance was like a ray of light falling onto the street before the entrance. The conversational sounds inside and outside the noodle shop immediately lowered. Many gazes unconsciously drawn to her—whether customers or staff, all couldn't hide the amazement in their eyes, momentarily stunned.

The gazes directed their way made Sasuke unconsciously furrow his brow tightly.

Those looks, whether pure amazement or hiding other meanings, all felt like needles pricking his body.

He instinctively stepped forward half a step, shielding Yuuna behind and to his side, small palm quietly clenching.

As for the surrounding gazes, Yuuna had long grown accustomed. From long ago, such attention had never ceased. She simply smiled indifferently.

Looking down and seeing Sasuke's face tensed up like facing a great enemy, a trace of cunning amusement passed through her eyes as she suddenly felt like teasing him.

"We're at the shop entrance now," her fingertip lightly scratched at Sasuke's palm, tone teasing. "You can let go."

The subtle sensation from his palm made Sasuke's ear tips heat up.

Only then did he realize—a boy his age still being led by his sister, especially in front of so many people, was really rather embarrassing.

Yet a voice in his heart resisted—he didn't want to release this warm, soft hand.

Seeing Sasuke had no intention of letting go, Yuuna simply let him be.

Over these years, this child had always been so dependent on her.

The two walked to a quiet table in the corner and sat down. Only then did Sasuke somewhat reluctantly release his grip.

A female server approached with a menu. Seeing Yuuna, she clearly froze for a moment, amazement flashing across her face before hurriedly offering the menu. "P-please, what would you two like?"

Yuuna took the menu and quickly scanned it, ordering efficiently. "Two signature ramen bowls, both with extra char siu, and two bowls of miso soup." She then turned to look at Sasuke, tone gently inquiring. "Is this okay?"

Sasuke obediently nodded. "Mm, good."

The steaming hot ramen was quickly brought to the table.

Yuuna very naturally tucked a falling strand of long hair behind her ear, revealing one side's fair, delicate ear and the beautiful curve of her neck.

This casual small movement made Sasuke's heartbeat skip a beat, cheeks slightly warming.

He somewhat vexedly lowered his head, not understanding what was wrong with himself—clearly he was with Yuuna-nee every day and was more than familiar with her appearance, yet why could her occasional casual gesture still so easily disturb his composure?

Yuuna leaned forward slightly, pink lips gently blowing away the rising steam from the ramen.

She lifted her head only to find Sasuke staring at her in a daze.

"What's wrong, Sasuke?" She tilted her head puzzledly. "Not to your taste? Should I go order something else?"

Sasuke suddenly snapped back to awareness, face instantly flushing with a thin red as he frantically lowered his head. "Ah! N-no! I'll eat right now!"

To cover his loss of composure, he immediately buried his head and took a huge mouthful of noodles.

"Hiss..."

The next second, he was scalded by the hot broth and sucked in a cold breath, entire face scrunching up.

Seeing this, Yuuna quickly passed over the ice water at hand, tone carrying concern. "Eat slowly—no one's competing with you."

Sasuke took the cup and gulped down several mouthfuls. His numbed tongue finally eased slightly. He was too embarrassed to lift his head—actually getting distracted watching Yuuna-nee and getting burned was really too humiliating.

He stared at his bowl with his head down, not daring to look at Yuuna again, muttering quietly. "It's all Yuuna-nee's fault..."

"Hm? What's my fault?" Yuuna blinked, face innocent. She truly didn't understand what she'd just done.

Sasuke choked on the question. He couldn't very well say "it's your fault for being too beautiful," could he?

He held it in for ages before squeezing out, "...Your fault for ordering noodles that were too hot."

This completely unreasonable accusation made Yuuna pause, then burst into laughter.

She picked up her chopsticks and transferred a piece of char siu from her bowl to Sasuke's, tone like coaxing a child. "Alright, alright, it's all my fault. This char siu is for you as an apology. Can you eat properly now?"

Sasuke looked at the extra char siu in his bowl, the small bit of sulkiness in his heart instantly replaced by a sweet feeling.

He hummed in acknowledgment and this time finally obediently ate in small bites.

Suddenly, a voice full of surprise interrupted, breaking the quiet atmosphere between them.

"What a coincidence, Yuuna-nee!"

Sasuke, whose heart had just been warmed by that piece of char siu, instantly furrowed his brow.

This annoying voice... it was that little blond brat!
