Chapter 4 - The Final Spins and the Omni System

When Klein next opened his eyes—or rather, when his mind remembered how to "see" again—the void shimmered faintly, softer this time, as though reality itself was warming up for a finale.

'Still here,' he thought, flexing invisible fingers. 'Still dead. Still waiting for cosmic customer support.'

A familiar cough echoed nearby.

"Testing, testing—ah, there we go. Klein, you hear me?"

"I hear you, rookie god," Klein said. "You fix the wheel yet, or are we gambling with fate again?"

"Please, have a little faith. I updated the firmware."

"On the Wheel of Destiny."

"Yep! Version 1.0.2. Should spin smoother now."

'Wonderful,' Klein thought. 'I'm being reincarnated by a tech intern.'

The Wheel materialized once more, brighter and more stable than before. Its rim gleamed like molten gold, and faint motes of starlight drifted through the void.

"Alright!" the voice declared, confidence restored. "We're on spin number seven, right? Let's make it a good one."

"Let's," Klein said, crossing his arms. "And this time, no cursed kitchen utensils or self-destructive artifacts."

"No promises!"

The wheel roared to life, spinning fast, the lights merging into a luminous blur. Klein felt a pulse of raw energy rush through the void, like a heartbeat. After a few moments, it slowed and clicked to a halt.

A warm red orb floated toward him.

[Seventh Spin Result: Emberheart Gauntlet]

[Description: A glove forged from phoenix ash. Channels inner vitality into bursts of flame. Can temporarily resurrect the user once—but at a cost.]

Klein's grin widened. "Now that's what I'm talking about."

"Cool, right?" the voice said eagerly. "It's fiery, flashy, and statistically only a five percent chance of backfiring!"

"Backfiring how?"

"Well… let's just say some users turned into literal fireworks."

Klein sighed. "Perfect. I always wanted to explode stylishly."

He examined the glowing gauntlet that appeared briefly before dissolving into his essence. It pulsed with restrained power. For once, he was genuinely impressed.

"Alright, rookie," he said. "You're earning points again. Let's keep going. Spin eight."

The god hummed. "Confident now, huh? Careful, pride leads to funny accidents."

"I'm already dead," Klein said. "Can't get funnier than that."

The wheel spun again, slower this time, like it was considering its next gift. The lights dimmed, then flared. When it stopped, the result shimmered in delicate green.

[Eighth Spin Result: Verdant Veil]

[Description: A living shroud woven from the breath of forests. Conceals the wearer in natural terrain and accelerates healing under sunlight.]

Klein whistled. "That's actually… amazing."

"See? The wheel likes you."

"It gave me a cursed coin earlier."

"It's developing character!"

'Sure,' Klein thought, amused. Still, the new item was practical—stealth, healing, survival. A harem-building king needed longevity, after all.

He smirked faintly. "Alright, let's see what nine's got."

The wheel started again. This time, the hum was deeper, resonating through the void like a drumbeat. Klein felt it tug at his soul, heavier than before. When it finally stopped, the result was pitch black.

[Ninth Spin Result: Mirror of False Crowns]

[Description: An obsidian mirror that shows the user as the ruler of any kingdom they gaze upon. Beware: the reflection may one day become real.]

Klein tilted his head. "That's… cryptic."

"Yeah, that one gives me the creeps," the god admitted. "It's more prophetic than practical. The mirror sometimes whispers to its owner."

"Whispers what?"

"Depends. Ambition, envy, destiny. I avoid it personally."

Klein chuckled. "Oh, don't worry. I'll put it to good use. Every king needs a mirror to remind him what he's aiming for."

The god hesitated. "You sound a bit too excited about that."

"Maybe I just like crowns."

"Noted," the voice said warily.

The mirror faded into Klein's essence, leaving a faint echo of authority in the air. He could almost feel it—a hunger for power lurking behind the gift.

The god cleared his throat. "Okay, Klein, last one. The tenth spin."

Klein straightened. "The grand finale."

"The Wheel's special jackpot sector is active. You ready?"

"As I'll ever be."

The wheel began to turn, slower than before, but the energy was palpable. Every color in existence shimmered across its face, fracturing into impossible hues. The hum grew louder, almost musical.

Then it stopped.

Silence.

A blinding sphere of pure white emerged, vibrating gently in the void. The god's voice cracked slightly.

"Uh… wow. That's… unexpected."

Klein raised a brow. "What's it say?"

The light flared.

[Tenth Spin Result: The Omni System]

[Description: A divine interface of limitless potential. Grants the user adaptive growth, skill evolution, and the ultimate trait 'Infinite Seduction'—unlocked at Level 100.]

For a long moment, neither spoke.

Then Klein started laughing. Loud, unrestrained laughter that echoed through the emptiness.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," he said between laughs. "That's the jackpot? Infinite seduction?"

The god coughed awkwardly. "It's, uh, classified as a Legendary-Mythic hybrid. Very rare."

"It sounds like a pervert's dream system."

"Well… technically, it enhances charisma, attraction, and influence across all sentient species. Not just romantically!"

"So you're saying I can talk dragons into dates?"

"If you hit Level 100, probably."

Klein grinned wider. 'Level 100, huh? Then I'll grind my way to godhood if I have to.'

He turned toward the hovering orb. "So what now?"

The god's tone softened. "Now, you reincarnate. You'll be reborn in a world that blends magic, cultivation, and mana—one that's balanced between chaos and creation. You start from scratch, as all mortals do."

Klein frowned. "Wait, from scratch? Not as a king or noble?"

"Well… that part's random. Reincarnation placement algorithm's still experimental."

'Fantastic,' Klein thought. 'I bet I'll end up as a cabbage farmer.'

The god chuckled nervously. "Hey, maybe you'll be royalty! Who knows?"

"Yeah, sure."

A soft wind stirred around him, pulling at his form. The void began to crumble at the edges, light spilling through the cracks.

"Guess this is it," Klein said quietly.

"Yep. Any last requests?"

"Yeah. Next time, try not to sound like you're winging it."

"Noted," the god said, amusement in his tone. "Good luck, Klein. And, uh, don't seduce anyone too early."

"No promises."

The god laughed, the sound fading as the light swallowed everything.

Klein felt himself unraveling, dissolving into warmth and motion. For a brief instant, he saw fragments of what awaited—mountains floating in the sky, rivers glowing with mana, beasts the size of castles.

Then, a whisper echoed through the collapsing void:

"Welcome to your new beginning."

And Klein fell—headfirst—into a world waiting to be conquered.
