Chapter 24 - Chapter 24_Bond of the Heart

The night was quiet, but Belle's soul was restless. Sleep had long abandoned her. Since Thomas's disappearance, her world felt hollow — as if half of her heart had turned to dust.

Her parents tried to keep her busy. College in the morning, studies in the afternoon, chores in the evening. They thought if they filled her days, her heart might forget. But love doesn't obey reason; once it burns, it keeps glowing even in silence.

That night, the moonlight spread across her room. She opened her diary and began to write:

"Love never dies… it only changes form.

If you're gone, Thomas, I'll still feel you — in every breath, in every silence…"

Tears slipped down her cheeks, shimmering like pearls in the moonlight.

A gentle wind brushed through the curtains, carrying a familiar scent — the scent of him.

Belle smiled faintly through her tears.

"You're here, aren't you… Thomas?"

No voice answered — only the wind whispered softly,

"I'm always with you… just close your eyes and feel 🤍🖇
