The scene changed to a forest clearing, away from prying eyes. The little girl lay down on a cushion, her hand clutching a talisman, the talisman used to contact the Immortal Realm.
"You'll wait for me, right?" the little girl asked.
"Huh?" The swordsman looked confused.
"Say it! You'll wait for me!" The little girl blurted out as her hand slowly tore the talisman she was clutching.
The swordsman ruffled her hair. "Of course. I'll prepare a nice dish and wait for you here."
The talisman tore apart. Light shone as the teleportation array began to construct itself from the talisman.
"Eight years! No! Six years! Within six years, once I'm strong enough to resist the laws of the lower realm, I'll come back! Don't you dare forget me!" Tears welled up in the girl's eyes as she shouted, instructing the swordsman as if her life depended on it.
"I won't. I'll call you." The swordsman said as he made a hand sign of a phone near his ear.
