Yumi's eyes gleamed as Raven unfurled the first scroll, its seals glowing faintly in the dim library. "Do you plan on learning the Strength of a Hundred?" she asked, her tone both curious and cautious.
Raven nodded, rolling the parchment carefully. "Yes. This one, the Yin Seal, and the Healing Hands Technique. I'll need them. Naruto will suffer many wounds in the future… and as his mother, I must be the one to heal him."
Yumi tilted her head, ears flicking. "But doesn't the Kyūbi inside him grant him regeneration?"
Raven's expression darkened behind her mask as she shook her head. "You don't understand. I can't leave it to chance. His future will be brutal, far beyond scratches and bruises. I won't stand by powerless. Healing him will be my duty."
Yumi inclined her head, accepting the words as Raven tucked the Strength of a Hundred scroll into her storage seals.
Her glowing eyes scanned the shelves until a faint shimmer of chakra drew her to the far corner. She reached forward, brushing away dust to reveal another scroll. The moment her hands touched it, the markings flared softly. She smiled faintly. "Here it is. The Yin Seal. This will change everything. By storing chakra in my forehead, I can keep a reserve of natural chakra ready at all times. It's like a battery."
Yumi's voice was skeptical. "But with your Rinnegan, your reserves are limitless as long as you keep cultivating nature chakra."
"And still," Raven countered, her voice calm but edged with conviction, "even limitless chakra runs dry in the chaos of war. High-level shinobi battles can be decided by a single kunai after exhaustion sets in. I won't be caught empty-handed." She placed the Yin Seal scroll with the other, sealing it away with care.
Her steps carried her deeper, rows of parchment stacked high. She paused before a smaller scroll, picking it up gently and unrolling it. The ink shimmered faintly under her gaze. "The Healing Hands Technique… finally. This will save lives. Not just Naruto's, but many others as well."
Yumi's tone was heavy, shadowed by foresight. "There will be countless deaths in Konoha's future."
"Not if I have anything to say about it," Raven said firmly, rolling the scroll again. "I'm here to change that future — Naruto's future, and the village's."
Her Rinnegan shimmered again, catching the faint glint of glass across the chamber. She approached slowly, brushing aside a veil of dust to reveal a locked display case. With a touch of chakra, the seals dissolved, and she lifted the lid. Inside rested a sealed scroll marked with the Senju crest and a thick leather-bound notebook. She studied them in silence, reverence and calculation mingling in her voice. "Hashirama Senju's Wood Release techniques… and his research notes. Genealogical records, experiments, vitality studies. Even Danzō doesn't have access to records this complete. These are the true secrets of the Senju."
Yumi frowned, her golden eyes narrowing. "Why would they ever give him something like this? It would've been madness."
Raven's voice turned cold. "Exactly. That's why these were sealed away. But they belong to me now."
She drew the notebook and scroll carefully, binding them into her storage seals alongside the others. Straightening, she looked to Yumi. "We can't train here. The Krusty Kunai is too exposed. I need a place far from prying eyes."
Yumi's lips curled into a sly smile, her tails shifting. "I know just the place. Follow me."
