Hearing the report, Bibi Dong's expression changed slightly, and she slowly rose from her throne.
"Your Holiness, should I go to Heaven Dou City to confirm this information?" Chrysanthemum Douluo, Yue Guan, who was standing nearby, stepped forward and bowed slightly.
Bibi Dong waved her hand, her voice cold. "There's no need. What good would it do if you went and found Tang San actually hiding in that Blue Tyrant Academy? They're inside Heaven Dou City, and Tang Hao is lurking in the shadows."
She paused, her gaze sweeping over the people in the hall, a deep look flashing in her eyes. "As the Supreme Pontiff of Spirit Hall, I can't personally lead an expedition into the Heaven Dou Empire's capital. If the commotion is too great, it will definitely attract the attention of the Heaven Dou imperial family. That could compromise our future plans."
She then looked directly at Yue Guan. "And if I send you, are you a match for Tang Hao?"
Chrysanthemum Douluo looked somewhat reluctant. "Your Holiness, are we just going to let Tang San go? He's Tang Hao's son. If we let him grow up, I'm afraid he might become a threat..."
Before he could finish, Bibi Dong curled her lips into a sneer and raised a hand to interrupt him. "Some problems are hard for us to solve, so let others take care of them. If we can use Tang Hao's hand to eliminate one or two obstacles, that would be a way to indirectly weaken the Hall of Worship's influence over me."
Chrysanthemum Douluo looked confused. "Your Holiness, what do you mean?"
Bibi Dong simply waved her hand and smiled. "When the snipe and clam fight, the fisherman benefits. Yue Guan, accompany me to the Hall of Worship."
"Yes, Your Holiness." Hearing this, Chrysanthemum Douluo was first stunned, but then a glint flashed in his eyes. He seemed to understand her intent and nodded immediately.
The Hall of Worship is located at the very top of Spirit Hall's divine mountain. It has an imposing aura, standing above everything else. The majestic palace stands above a sea of clouds, as if connected directly to the heavens.
In the very center of the Hall of Worship, a Seraphim statue stands over ten meters tall. The entire statue is golden, and under the illumination of the perpetually lit lamps in the hall, it radiates sacred and majestic light. Three pairs of enormous wings spread from the back of the statue, each feather intricately carved to look lifelike. The statue also holds a massive golden sword aloft, its tip pointing directly toward the sky, while faint golden flames flicker around it, illuminating the entire hall with solemn grandeur.
To reach the Hall of Worship, one must ascend thousands of steps on Spirit Hall's divine mountain.
As she drew closer, Bibi Dong's sense of revulsion grew stronger. As a Legacy of the Rakshasa God, she was enveloped in a cold aura of death. This place, however, represented the pure divine force of the Angel God. The two forces were inherently opposed, and with every step closer, she felt the Rakshasa divine force within her subtly stirring.
The omnipresent golden light made her feel slightly suffocated, and the sacred aura pervading the air was like countless fine needles, constantly pricking her skin.
"Angel God?! Hmph... One day, sooner or later..." she muttered under her breath.
Frowning slightly, a faint, hard-to-detect purplish-black light flashed in her eyes. She then completely sealed off the nauseating light power within her.
At this moment, two people were standing inside the Hall of Worship.
The leader was a golden-haired elder. He stood tall and straight like a pine, his golden hair cascading over his shoulders like sunlight, and a naturally pure aura of light flowed around him. The light wasn't dazzling, yet it gave people a sacred pressure that could not be desecrated. The golden-haired elder simply stood there silently, as if he were the center of the entire hall, making people involuntarily feel like bowing in worship.
He was Qian Daoliu, the Hall Master of the Hall of Worship, the guardian of the Angel God, known as the invincible in the sky. Alongside Tang Chen, the first Sect Master of the Clear Sky Sect, they were known as the two great peaks of the Spirit Master world.
Beside Qian Daoliu stood another elder, extremely burly and clad in a golden robe. He was Gold Crocodile Douluo, the Second Elder of the Hall of Worship, with a spirit power level of ninety-eight.
Gold Crocodile Douluo's expression shifted slightly. He seemed to sense something and suddenly spoke to Qian Daoliu, who was standing beneath the Seraphim statue. "Big brother, that woman has always hated this place, hasn't she? What put her in the mood to come here today?"
"I'm not sure either. Perhaps she has something important," Qian Daoliu replied, slowly turning around with a slight furrow in his brow.
Gold Crocodile Douluo snorted coldly, somewhat displeased. "Big brother, you went against all opposition to push her to the position of Supreme Pontiff. Yet now, she is ungrateful and secretly building her own power within Spirit Hall. Now, apart from us old fellows in the Hall of Worship, almost all the other Titled Douluo have already pledged allegiance to her. If we let her continue like this, I'm afraid we won't have control anymore..."
Qian Daoliu frowned and raised his hand to stop Gold Crocodile Douluo from continuing. "Bibi Dong's talent is very strong, and her methods are quite good. Before Xiao Xue has fully grown, she still has her uses."
As he spoke, his gaze calmly looked towards the direction of the hall door. "Don't worry. As long as we old fellows are still here, she won't be able to completely control Spirit Hall."
Just then, the door of the Hall of Worship was suddenly pushed open. The next second, Bibi Dong and Chrysanthemum Douluo appeared in Qian Daoliu's and Gold Crocodile Douluo's line of sight.
Seeing the newcomers, Gold Crocodile Douluo's expression immediately turned cold, and he took a step forward. Immediately after, a monstrous pressure erupted from his body, like a tangible golden torrent, sweeping towards the two, causing the air in the entire hall to solidify.
As the monstrous pressure struck, Chrysanthemum Douluo was instantly suppressed, unable to even lift his feet.
Bibi Dong, however, curled her lips into a disdainful arc. A purplish-black spirit power ripple suddenly surged around her, directly deflecting the terrifying pressure.
The two pressures fiercely collided in the center of the hall, emitting an invisible hum. After a brief stalemate, the pressure collapsed with a roar, and Gold Crocodile Douluo and Bibi Dong both took a step back, the stone slabs beneath their feet slightly cracking.
"Second Elder, what is the meaning of this?" Bibi Dong spoke with displeasure.
Hearing this, Gold Crocodile Douluo smiled faintly and whispered, "Please forgive this old man, Your Holiness. I've been in this Hall of Worship for too long and haven't found anyone to spar with, so I temporarily lost control of myself." Although he spoke apologetically, there was no hint of apology in his eyes. Instead, there was a hint of testing.
"Can't find anyone to spar with? Perfect, then I'll find someone for you," Bibi Dong replied, her lips curling into a cold arc.
Immediately, she waved her hand, and a piece of gold-edged cloth shot out like a sharp blade, directly towards Gold Crocodile Douluo's face.
"Hmph! What is this?" Gold Crocodile Douluo snorted coldly, raising his hand to precisely grasp the cloth. He immediately lowered his head to look at the cloth in his hand, his brow slightly furrowed.
At the same time, Qian Daoliu, who was beside him, also looked at the cloth. In just a moment, both of their expressions changed simultaneously.
Slowly raising his head, Qian Daoliu looked at Bibi Dong not far away and said with a hint of doubt: "Surname Tang, Spirit is Blue Silver Grass? And also Innate full spirit power. How is this possible? Could it be that his Blue Silver Grass mutated? Or is he... a twin spirits!?"
His eyes then darted to the next line on the cloth. "His father's name is... Tang... Hao!?"
Immediately after, when he saw that this Tang San's father was named Tang Hao, his expression changed again. The hand that had just gripped the cloth tightened slightly, and he wanted to speak but hesitated.
"You're not mistaken. This Tang San is the son of Clear Sky Douluo Tang Hao. I've already crossed paths with Tang Hao, but unfortunately, he got away," Bibi Dong confirmed, a faint, elusive cold smile on her lips.
