Grey and Werner quietly found themselves a seat near the front.
Once everyone was comfortably seated, Carter Smith, who was on the stage sitting calmly while sipping some sort of exotic alien tea, slowly stood up.
John nodded respectfully at his master. Soon, the world around them began to subtly change. This was in fact a small illusion array, a spatial shift in the environment that Grey noticed naturally.
"Ahem." Carter Smith, who looked like an ordinary middle-aged man, cleared his throat loudly as he began speaking. "Everyone, today we are gathered here to deeply discuss the true intricacies of smithery."
"Since none of you are newly awakened novices, we will skip the rudimentary definitions. For us Evolvers, smithery is the delicate act of utilizing one's cosmic energy to forcefully realign the atomic structure of an ore. We safely convert raw veins into usable materials for weapons, defensive armaments, spatial vessels, array cores, and auxiliary evolutionary tools."
