It has been a month till then; we have recovered quite well in addition of basic information on this family as well as the age of the body that we have been possessing but I was more in joy, no, relief is the word. About the fact that the headache (which was insufferable) is not there anymore; as for the basic information, the mothers name is Evelyn Harper, she's American and kept her maiden name. She is around her early forties, the age of 43.
For the father, a Japanese man (which we already knew) his name is Okabe Isamu, around his mid-forties, the age of 46. As for the body that I am possessing, is of a high school girl who is supposed to be in 3rd year of high school, the age of 16 and her name is Okabe Hina; I had already graduated from high school…more like passed my finals… I never got my graduation, what a pity.
Oh yes, due to me passing me finals and then finishing a whole book on civil engineering of the first years, those 2 years is most likely to be easy for me. For the body Yuki is possessing is of a middle grader; 7th grade, the age of 13 and she also had reached her finals of 8th grade by the time she had died so, this year might be easy since Yuki is supposed to be in high school now. Another fact was that, we can leave this body whenever we wanted, once we leave it, this body will be nothing but a mere corpse.
As for the rooms, I had taken my own room of when I was alive and so did Yuki, we felt comfort there. We were supposed to start our home schooling from today since we seemed to remember our studies enough (we didn't tell all the answers of course) to start home schooling for the moment.
I lied down the bed but the moment I did I got startled by a knock. I stood up from the bed and went to the door, as I opened it I saw an unknown person, a young woman who seemed around her late twenties, slender body and average height, she seemed gentle and her face reminded me of Evelyn (the mother). I tiled my head slightly before asking.
"May I know who you are?"
My voice was polite but that's how many tend to do when meeting new people.
She smiled softly. "My name is Eva Harper, your teacher for the homeschooling" She said, her voice was soft.
I nodded as I understood her purpose of being here. I moved slightly away from the door just so she could enter, a polite gesture, I suppose. As she entered, I wondered why the mother and she looked so much alike as if they were sisters but that can be a coincidence, right? But then last names as well, there the same. I closed the door behind her after she entered; she was looking around the room.
"You like reading?" she asked as her gaze when to the small shelf of novels, I didn't have those before when I was alive. It was of the actual owner of this body. I nodded in response, "Yeah" I said, "You like books?" I asked. She nodded, "What genre?" I asked, "Heartwarming, comedy, adventure and isekai and Romace" she replied. The complete opposite of what the owner of this body liked "What about you?" she asked.
"Angst, Action, comedy, isekai, romance and self sacrificing included"
"What an interesting choice you got there"
I shrugged, "Guess you can tell that"
She chuckled, "You talk much, do you?"
I again shrugged, "I can be talkative when I want to" I answered back, it was true. I do talk a lot about things that fascinate me. She nodded in response.
I decided to ask the question that had been stuck in my mind ever since she came. "Are you related with my mom?" I asked, the owner of this body- Hina, I should start telling her name instead of 'owner of this body' for the 100th time, used to call her Mother, mom which is normal. I used to call my mom, mother so, it's kind of hard to adjust to that. Eva nodded, "Yes, I am related to your mother" she replied, "I am her younger sister and also your aunt" she looked at as I just nodded in response, indicating that I understood enough and my question was answered clearly.
She sat in the bed and looked at me; we were now face to face. "What subject?" she asked; what subject? I don't want to repeat the things that I already have and not at all in the mood to repeat it all again but I still ended up saying English. I didn't like English much due to grammar and tense and all that. Eva is an American after all; it would be easy for her, right? She looked at me.
"You're not saying this just because I am America, are you?" she said as her eyes narrowed in playful suspiciousness. I raised my hands in mock surrender, "Why would i? I am not in the mood to study and English seemed the easiest at the moment" I answered back, I didn't even want to learn modern Japanese at the moment. She still looked at me in playful suspiciousness before turning her gaze to the book shelf; there were also the books that I required for studying. I went to take the English Grammar book as I highly suspected that would tell grammar. I took the book. I also grabbed a copy that was just lying there as well as a pen. I sat down on the bed beside her and our study session begins now, sadly enough.
After the studying, we took a break and Eva is most likely to leave after. I again decided to ask a question, this one was somewhat related to Yuki, she always seemed to get nervous in math's. "Why do people get nervous?" I asked, Eva looked at and chuckled. "Because their confused, not confident enough about that thing." she answered back, confused and not confident enough?
Yuki is nervous in math and I am always nervous… at first glance, I seem normal, who could've guessed that my mind is jumble of words, searching for the correct words. To find the words that won't make them offended or so. My existence itself made me nervous. I lay back down on the bed as Eva stood up, "I am leaving for now, see you tomorrow then." She said as she went to the door. "See you too and are you also going to Yu-" I paused, I almost said Yuki instead of Ayame. She raised an eyebrow as she asked, "Yu? Whose name starts with 'Yu' here?" oh no… I quickly came up with an excuse. "'Yume', I meant my sister; Ayame. It's a nickname I made for her, 'Yume' I sometimes call her, 'Yame' as well" I said, Eva just nodded. She is getting suspicious now…oh no… I better change the subject or get back to the topic.
"So, whose teaching 'Yume'?" I asked, I said, Yume to give her a bit of illusion on that this is normal. "Yeah, I'll be teaching her as well. Its day wise though, first you then her and it goes on till Saturday. No classes on weekends" Eva said, I nodded in response as she opened the door. "Bye" I said, she smiled, "bye bye" she said as she left, closing the door behind her.
