The small unit of Iwagakure ninjas was shocked by Tsunade's sudden appearance. Panic spread through their ranks as kunai and shuriken were hurled toward her in desperation.
"Wind Release: Fast Wind Wall!"
Orochimaru swiftly formed the Tatsu hand seal. A violent surge of wind chakra enveloped the incoming weapons, freezing them mid-air before reversing their direction. The kunai and shuriken shot back faster than before, detonating their explosive tags in mid-air.
"Konoha's elite…? Earth Release: Earth Thorns!"
One of the Hidden Stone kunoichi gritted her teeth, slammed her hands onto the ground, and jagged stone spikes burst upward. However, they couldn't even touch Tsunade—her speed was simply overwhelming.
"Wind Oscillation: Night Wind!"
Orochimaru raised a finger and pointed calmly. A violent whirlwind surged skyward, countless microscopic wind blades tearing through the remaining Hidden Stone ninjas. Their screams echoed briefly before they collapsed, blood spraying across the battlefield.
"I am here."
The surviving ninja heard a voice from above. She looked up in horror, just in time to see Tsunade raising her right leg.

The earth trembled violently. Cracks spread in all directions, and the Hidden Stone ninja died instantly.
At the nine o'clock position, explosions rocked the battlefield without pause. Two Hidden Stone ninjas wielding the Explosion Release Bloodline Limit were locked in a brutal fistfight, each punch detonating with devastating force.
Another Iwagakure ninja waited nearby, trying to intervene, but the shockwaves made approaching impossible.
"Hey! What's wrong with you, Shaku?!"
"I don't know! My body… it just went out of control!"
Shaku's face twisted in terror as he lost control of his movements.
"Wind Oscillation: Vacuum Series Waves!"
Orochimaru clasped his hands and exhaled sharply. Blades of compressed wind ripped through the air, slicing the two Explosion Release users apart in an instant. Trees were uprooted, and the battlefield fell eerily silent.
"Dan, return to your body."
Kato Dan's spirit drifted out of the corpse and nodded before dispersing. Orochimaru's shadow clone vanished in a puff of smoke.
"…Understood."
Dan stared at Orochimaru in disbelief. The man who was usually cold and withdrawn showed no hesitation when eliminating enemies.
On the main battlefield, a flash of silver light streaked past.
Blood splattered as a Hidden Stone ninja charged forward, only to collapse instantly. A young man with silver-white hair stood calmly on a tree branch, holding a chakra blade glowing with white light.
"Sakumo… you're too fast!"
"We don't even get a chance to fight!"
His teammates complained helplessly.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
Sakumo Hatake scratched his head sheepishly and smiled.
"Let's move on. If we stay here, we might get attacked from behind."
The main battlefield—the frontline clash between Konoha and Iwagakure—was absolute chaos.
Shortly after the war began, Jiraiya had rushed back to Konoha. Kato Dan was reassigned, and soon the three Sannin regrouped and entered the battlefield together.
"How is this possible?!"
A Hidden Stone ninja stared in disbelief. A Konoha ninja, pierced through the chest by a kunai, turned into smoke and reformed unharmed.
Slash!
A kunai cut cleanly across the Hidden Stone ninja's throat.
Scenes like this played out everywhere. The Iwagakure forces desperately tried to kill Konoha shinobi, only to find their enemies seemingly immortal.
They soon realized the truth.
"These are… the Iburi Clan!"
Using the Smoke Release Bloodline Limit, the Iburi Clan excelled at infiltration and direct combat. With so few Wind Release users in Iwagakure, they were nearly untouchable.
Their only weakness was chakra consumption—maintaining smoke forms for too long was exhausting.

The Akimichi Clan swallowed their green spinach pills and activated their expansion techniques, transforming into massive spinning spheres of destruction. They slammed into the Hidden Stone ninjas like living siege weapons.
The improved Three-Colored Pills were now standard military supplies.
"Earth Release: Earth Flow Wall!"

Defensive earth techniques rose rapidly to block the Akimichi assault.
"Earth Release: Rift!"
A massive fissure split the ground—but the Akimichi leapt over it, crushing several Hidden Stone ninjas mid-air.
A terrifying sound echoed across the battlefield.
A colossal crimson serpent slithered forward.
Orochimaru and Tsunade stood atop Shinza's head, gazing over the battlefield littered with corpses.
"Manda and the Blue Serpent will definitely be jealous," Shinza laughed, swinging his tail.
Stone ninjas were crushed, while others were petrified instantly by his poison spray.
"Watch out for the poison!"
Panic spread through the Iwagakure ranks.
"It's Lord Orochimaru! And Tsunade!"
Konoha's morale surged.
"And me!"
BOOM!
Gamabunta descended from the sky in a massive cloud of smoke.
"Lord Jiraiya is here!"
Jiraiya struck what he believed was a heroic pose.
…Ridiculous. Gamabunta instantly regretted answering the summon.
"I'll summon Katsuyu. Our people need healing."
Tsunade bit her finger and formed seals.
"Summoning Technique!"
With a loud bang, the massive slug appeared.
Katsuyu divided into countless smaller forms, crawling onto wounded Konoha ninjas and restoring them rapidly.
No one refused. Who would reject a personal healer?
"Earth Release: Super Added-Weight Rock Technique!"
Multiple Iwagakure ninjas combined their chakra, forming a massive stone golem that charged Gamabunta and Shinza.
Shinza wrapped around it, trying to crush it—
"Shinza, let go!"
Orochimaru warned him just in time.
"Toad Sword Beheading!"
Gamabunta's blade flashed, severing the golem's arms.
The earth regenerated—but Tsunade appeared above it.
Her chakra surged. Her arm swelled.
CRASH!
One punch shattered the golem's head.
Gamabunta and Shinza finished it together.
"Leave the main battlefield to Jiraiya and me," Orochimaru said quietly. "You're needed for healing."
"Don't underestimate me," Tsunade snapped. "Even with little chakra, I can still fight."
Orochimaru nodded. He trusted her.
With the three Sannin present, the battle became completely one-sided.
Iwagakure was crushed.
The remnants retreated toward the Land of Earth, while Konoha pursued relentlessly across the barren stone desert.
