Suddenly, several cars bearing the S.H.I.E.L.D. insignia screeched to a halt near the venue. Leading the charge was Hill.
The venue's security immediately went on high alert, but quickly cleared a path once Hill presented her credentials.
Hill's sharp gaze quickly located the Foreign Minister in the crowd, and she quietly approached him, whispering, "Mr. Anlis, please get the guests evacuated immediately. We have reliable intel that Magneto, the mutant leader, is planning something."
Mr. Anlis naturally recognized Hill, and he looked at her with surprise, clearly shocked by her words.
"Ms. Hill, do you realize how important the guests here today are?"
"I know, but..."
"No buts!"
Anlis cut Hill off before she could finish speaking.
"Since you know how important tonight's reception is, if we run away just because of some mutants, where will the great American face be?"
