Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Arrival At The Planet Of Discoveries

All five Lights of Justice were present in the hero headquarters. Including Adrian, who had officially been promoted to a Light of Justice. The atmosphere inside the meeting hall felt heavier than usual. Being chosen as one of the five meant something serious.

Ren stood at the front of the room. Since it would be troublesome if Adrian found out who the council head truly was, Ren had volunteered to explain the mission instead.

"My name is Ren, and I will be telling you about the mission since the council head is sick," Ren said, his expression completely neutral, his sharp red eyes scanning the room.

"What is your position?" one of the new Lights of Justice asked.

It was an eleven-year-old boy named Leo. Despite his young age, he had been promoted due to his extraordinary intelligence and tactical ability. He looked calm, but there was confidence behind his gaze.

Ren's eyes sharpened slightly.

"You do not need to know."

The room went silent.

Ren then turned slightly, and a large holographic screen appeared behind him. The lights dimmed automatically as the image of a massive planet filled the display. Detailed data scrolled across the screen — atmosphere composition, gravitational levels, energy readings, unknown life forms.

"This is the Planet of Discoveries," Ren said, pointing toward the hologram. "Your mission is simple. Report whatever happens there and return alive after one day."

"That's it?" Leo asked, barely paying attention. "Do we really need five Lights of Justice for something like this?"

Ren's gaze didn't change.

"The planet is far more dangerous than you think. It may look like a paradise filled with beautiful plants and life, but it is home to unknown and extremely dangerous creatures. The environment itself is unstable."

Rose, the other new Light of Justice, crossed her arms. She had long pink hair and a confident expression.

"Sounds exaggerated."

Ren smirked slightly.

"Don't worry. I shall be accompanying you to make sure nobody dies."

"Huh?" Rose tilted her head. "You think you're stronger than us?"

"Yes," Ren replied calmly. "I am stronger than all five of you combined."

The confidence in his voice didn't sound like arrogance. It sounded like fact.

"Yeah, whatever," Rose said dismissively.

Ren ignored her.

"It is time. Follow me."

A massive spaceship awaited them outside the headquarters. It was enormous — almost the size of a city — with advanced technology embedded into every visible surface. The doors opened automatically as they approached.

They entered.

The moment they stepped inside, even Adrian was impressed.

The interior was luxurious. Wide corridors. Transparent walls showing outer space. VIP rooms prepared for each Light of Justice. Unlimited food. Entertainment areas. Training chambers.

And for some reason… beautiful women specifically assigned near Anthony's quarters.

Anthony's eyes lit up instantly.

"Maybe this mission isn't so bad after all!" he said with a grin.

Cosmic sighed quietly.

"That's all you care about, huh?"

"Of course," Anthony replied confidently.

Meanwhile, Adrian entered his VIP room. It was massive. A king-sized bed, a huge bathroom, advanced training equipment, and a large screen that displayed real-time data about their location in space. He stood by the window, watching as stars blurred past them at impossible speed.

Within seconds, they exited the solar system.

The spaceship moved faster than light itself.

Hours passed quickly. Some trained. Some rested. Some enjoyed themselves far too much.

Then suddenly—

"We have arrived," a mechanical voice announced.

The ship slowed down.

The massive doors opened.

And they stepped onto the surface of the planet.

The moment their feet touched the ground, they froze.

It was like paradise itself, the plants were extremely beautiful and large, the air was fresh and the wind was cold. Not only that but the trees were as tall as buildings, their trunks thick and ancient, their leaves glowing faintly as if they absorbed something more than sunlight. The grass shimmered under their feet, reflecting colors that didn't even exist on Earth.

For a brief moment, nobody spoke.

Adrian slowly stepped forward, his eyes scanning the horizon. The sky above them was a soft violet, streaked with silver clouds that drifted unnaturally fast. The scent in the air was sweet, almost intoxicating.

"This place…" Leo whispered, adjusting his glasses. "It's scientifically impossible."

Anthony stretched his arms. "Looks peaceful to me."

However, the planet was equally horrifying.

The ocean in the distance was violently boiling, releasing thick clouds of steam into the sky. The water glowed a deep crimson as if something alive was beneath its surface. In the far distance, gigantic creatures the size of mountains moved slowly, their silhouettes shaking the ground with every step. One of them let out a deep roar that echoed across the entire planet.

Rose crossed her arms. "Yeah… paradise my ass."

Ren stood quietly behind them, observing everything with sharp eyes.

"Stay alert," he said calmly.

Suddenly, the ground beneath Cosmic trembled.

Without warning, a strange creature lunged at him from the side. It had the body of a horse, the head of a chicken, and the long powerful legs of an ostrich. Its feathers were dark green and sharp like blades, and its eyes were glowing bright yellow.

It screeched loudly as it aimed straight for Cosmic's throat.
