Aoki shook off his thoughts and said, "Miss Kanae, Giyu, you handle the others. I'll take care of Doma."
Kanae looked at him. "Mr. Aomura, alone?"
"It's enough," Aoki said.
They had never fought together. They had no teamwork.
More importantly, what if they cut off Doma's head?
This elite monster was a valuable resource. He had only found one in six months, and it wouldn't respawn.
He would rather work harder himself than risk someone stealing his kill.
Kanae and Giyu looked at each other.
"Okay!"
They didn't argue. They rushed towards the temple.
"Blood Demon Art, Lotus Ice!"
Doma waved his fans. Icy mist spread, and ice lotus crystals formed.
"Flower Breathing, Second Form, Honorable Shadow Plum!"
"Water Breathing, Third Form, Flowing Dance!"
A pink sword and a blue sword flashed. The ice lotus crystals shattered, and the icy mist was blown away. Giyu grabbed the terrified middle-aged man. Kanae entered the temple without looking back.
Doma waved his fans, about to attack again.
"Your opponent is me!"
Aoki appeared behind him, fist clenched like a spear, stabbing out.
"Aoki Style, Judgment!"
This was a new technique he had created.
It focused all his power on one point, causing devastating damage. It was powerful and easy to combine with other techniques.
An ice lotus crystal suddenly bloomed around Doma.
But the next moment, it shattered with a bang, turning into ice shards. Doma fell from the roof like a meteor, crashing to the ground. His left shoulder, left arm, and half his chest were gone. His flesh writhed, but it wouldn't heal.
"He's gotten stronger!"
Doma didn't hesitate.
"Blood Demon Art, Sleeping Lotus Bodhisattva!"
Rumble!
A giant ice Buddha, dozens of meters tall, rose from the ground.
He had felt it last time. The traitor's attacks had a special power that greatly damaged demons.
He had to avoid getting hit. Sleeping Lotus Bodhisattva was the only choice.
That wasn't enough.
Doma sat on the lotus on the Buddha's right shoulder and waved his fans repeatedly.
"Blood Demon Art, Crystal Children!"
Ice crystals flew out, landing and turning into ice figures that looked like him, but smaller.
Doma slowly merged into the ice Buddha, smiling gently. "I have helpers too!"
The ice figures attacked without hesitation.
Lotus Ice, Wisteria Lotus, Scattered Lotus, Chilling White Princess, Frozen Winter Icicles... Ice attacks rained down on Aoki, as powerful as Doma's own Blood Demon Art.
The temperature dropped sharply, as if summer had turned to winter.
Giyu looked serious.
"This is Upper Moon Two's power!"
Not counting the ice Buddha or Upper Moon Two himself, these ice figures were hard to deal with.
"How will Mr. Aomura handle this? Should I help?"
As Giyu thought, Aoki vanished.
The next moment...
Bang bang bang bang bang bang!
Six sounds rang out almost at the same time. The six ice figures shattered, ice shards scattering like white flowers.
Aoki reappeared where he had been, as if he hadn't moved.
Aoki Style, Feast!
This was another technique he had created, combining Space Traverse and Combat Instinct to maximize power and speed, breaking the cooldown limit.
The only downside was that it used a lot of energy.
"He destroyed them all?"
Giyu stared, wondering if he could have blocked that attack if they had faced it during their spar.
He shook his head. It didn't seem likely.
"He destroyed the Children so quickly!"
Doma's eyes flickered. He merged into the Buddha.
The ice Buddha raised its hand, striking down at Aoki.
Aoki felt a nerve twitch in his mind. His body dodged the hand blade automatically, and his right elbow struck out.
With a bang, the ice Buddha's hand and forearm shattered.
After learning Martial Heart, his techniques were more precise and simple. Combat Instinct had improved his fighting instincts, awareness, and skill.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!
A cold wind blew.
Aoki felt that even with his constitution, he would freeze if he was hit directly.
He turned sharply, dodging the wind, then used Space Traverse to get close to the ice Buddha and engaged in close combat.
Doma maintained the Buddha while attacking Aoki with Blood Demon Art from different positions.
Kanae had finished inside the temple and hurried out. She watched Aoki and Doma fight, her eyes shining.
"Mr. Aomura has gotten stronger!"
Giyu nodded slowly.
Upper Moon Two was very strong.
He had been right.
He and Kanae couldn't have beaten Upper Moon Two.
But against Mr. Aomura, the powerful Upper Moon Two was almost helpless.
They didn't speak, watching the fight tensely.
Bang!
Half of the ice Buddha shattered. Doma glanced at Aoki.
For the first time since becoming a demon, he thought he might die. But he still felt no fear.
Whoosh!
Ice spread, and the Buddha's body healed.
The body made of Blood Demon Art wasn't affected by Devour Demon.
But Aoki noticed the ice Buddha was healing slower, and the body was rougher.
Doma was running out of energy!
Demons had a lot of stamina, but it wasn't unlimited.
Under certain conditions, even Muzan's stamina could run out.
Sleeping Lotus Bodhisattva used a lot of energy. Constantly breaking and rebuilding it was exhausting. It was amazing he had lasted this long.
Aoki still had plenty of energy.
He had been careful with Space Traverse and the Transparent World.
"It's time!"
Aoki dodged the ice Buddha's hand blade, his eyes sharp.
"Aoki Style, Feast!"
Bang bang bang...
The ice Buddha was hit six times in an instant, its body shattered. But Doma wasn't inside.
"Mr. Aomura, he's running!"
Kanae shouted anxiously.
Aoki turned and saw Doma running away quickly.
Kanae and Giyu chased him, but they were slower.
