Kamei-san and Jack were crossing Lake Ontario in a boatas a strategic point to reach the port of Toronto.

Jack could not help but feel fascinated by the stars. And to breakthe silence, he asked Kamei-san:

— "Kamei-san, can I ask you something?"

To which Kamei-san replied:

— "Go ahead, Jack."

Jack spoke:

— "Do you think Adelaida worries about you?"

Kamei-san walked and stopped for a moment. She turned and said:

— "I just hope she doesn't miss me too much, becausemaybe we won't return within a year, Jack."

— "Maybe more. It's better if we don't think about that."

— "Can I ask you another question, Kamei-san?"

Kamei-san said:

— "As long as it doesn't have to do with Adelaida or Dánae, please. We are in the middle of the lake and I don't want to cry, honestly."

— "No matter how many hugs we shared, they weren't enough forthe long wait those two will have to endure."

— "And let's not even mention Nuriel."

Then Jack stayed silent and said the following:

— "Then I will ask you another question, one that has nothing to do with that."

Kamei-san said:

— "Go ahead."

— "You told me that Zhuang's vault was one of the greatestpillars, right? In the spiritual world."

— "I don't fully understand what that means, but can I ask you if there is only one vault?"

To which Kamei-san replied:

— "No, Jack. There is not only one vault."

— "For example, you are walking in one."

— "The vaults, the towers that support the pillars of the creationof the Earth in the spiritual world, are spread everywhere."

— "But some are much more important than others. And now that I think about it, if Zhuang's vault fell."

— "That means things are getting very bad."

Meanwhile, on the other side of China,Heshin and Frollam were talking.

Heshin said the following:

— "If I tell you all this, it might make you change your mind."

— "Go ahead," said Frollam.

Heshin continued:

— "I haven't told you, but I was one of God's servantsin the middle of the palace of the third unit,on the great pillars of creation."

— "I was above the firmament when everything began to be created. The great wonders God showed meare something no human being could ever comparethrough existence."

God said:"I will create so many things that all will be like me.Everyone will glorify what I am and they will do it because the goodness of my lovewill be the reflection of the entire universe."

— "I was one of His lowest-ranking angels."

— "I have to admit that I enjoyed being able to serve my Father. One day He stroked my head for paying more attentionto the movement of the stars."

— "I still remember those beautiful times when everything seemed so simple,so easy."

— "But one day I found out that there was a legion of angelsthat gathered in front of God's Parliamentto discuss the creation of the Earthand the creation of others."

— "No angel had a name, but he gave himself one. Those who knew him best called him Lucy."

— "But for the rest of us… he was… Lucifer…The highest star among all the stars."

— "Or at least that's how he proclaimed himself."

— "The truth is, he was a lower-ranking angel."

— "But we never heard about the word freedom."

— "In fact, the concept of freedom was invented by him."

— "And this is because, at that time, freedom was not necessarybecause there was no oppression."

— "Or at least that's what we believed."

— "God tried to talk to him."

— "He tried to convince him, to tell him to please stop."

— "That this could divide heaven forever."

— "But Lucy refused."

— "The reason is simple."

— "It makes me laugh when humans saythat angels are perfect."

— "If we were perfect, we wouldn't have fallen to begin with. And if we were perfect, and completely pure,we would be gods."

— "And we wouldn't be angels."

— "There is something inside Lucy that almost none of the angels had.And it was… wanting to be like God."

He said and argued things like:

— "'If you truly love us,why don't you let us create our own worlds?'"

To which God replied:

"Even if I made them gods, they would end up being, after all,the same as they are now. I wouldn't change things."

— "Lucy believed that everything God was buildingwas following an absurd regime."

— "And everything changed when man arrived. When man still crawled on all fours."

— "God had ordered and dictated in His namethat this creature would be His masterpiece, along with the others."

— "Lucy became angry."

— "Because angels are made of light. Some were born from nothing, others from the stars."

— "And some more, who remained on Earth, were formed from wind, from plants, and from the many materials of the world. Why can angels travel through dimensions, and we were practically powerful."

— "The matter was simple… why should weserve a being who could barely stand?"

— "There was something different in man."

— "We have body, soul, and at the same time spirit. But the human body was made of water and earth."

— "It is tripartite like us."

— "But something completely new to us."

God ordered all the angels of heavento kneel before the new man created: Adam.

— "He was the first, but he was not the only man created. There has been more than one Adam, as you know."

— "And there have been more Gardens of Eden than you could count."

— "'One on the banks of the Euphrates River, cradle of the first men.'"

— "'Another, the Garden of the Hesperides ,at the ends of the west, where golden fruitshung like polished pearls.'"

— "'Dilmun, by the salty rivers of the Persian Gulf, pure and silent.'"

— "'Aaru, on the banks of the Nile, the realm of the righteous that mortals barely remember.'"

— "'Tamoanchan, in lands we now call Mexico, home of the first human architects.'"

— "'Plaksaduipa, on the horizons of India, where timedid not exist, where joy was complete by God.'"

— "'The Inca Garden, in the Andes, Peru and Bolivia, where the land touched the sky.'"

— "'Yuy Maraey, in the heart of South America, where males andfemales loved each other with great intensity.'"

— "'Mount Horai, in the eastern islands, home of the immortals, and their beautiful isles.'"

— "'The Zulu Garden, in the plains of southeastern Africa, forgotten by men.'"

— "'The garden in Persia, ancient Iran, where channels and trees whispered to the cherubim.'"

— "'Paliuli, in the Pacific seas, hidden among corals and clouds.'"

— "'And other gardens as well, scattered throughout the world, all carefully located, all full of life.'"

— "But they were carefully chosen."

— "All these gardens were carefully located."

— "And as if it were a balanced tower,if one garden fell, all would fall."

— "And while this was happening, the Great Cosmic War was already ragingin the galaxy."

— "The rebellion against the angels and God was a complete massacre."

— "We had never heard the concept of the word 'death'.We had never heard it. We encountered it in the cosmic war."

— "Lucy knew he could not confront God's throne,so what he did first was take positionin the universe through the stars."

— "They began attacking the stars, and it was there that God created the cherubim."

— "He selected a great legion of soldiersand gave them powers over the Earthand powers over the universe."

— "Adopting matter in a way whereanimal heads would technically signify their rank."

— "Some had heads of bull and lion,as they are known in Mesopotamia and the Mediterranean."

— "But others did not have human heads."

— "Many others were perhaps the closest thing to a wild beast. But that was because they were the protectors of sacred places."

— "They had to protect the Gardens of Eden. They were selected not only to protect them, but also to battle in the war."

— "The seraphim were also created. They were created to dictate the sentenceof what would be the great rebellion."

— "And those who were created from the starswere called virtues and powers."

— "The war took almost the entire rebellion, and only a third of my brothers who survivedcornered us in Orion."

— "On the star that pointed to His throne."

— "I thought they would annihilate us, there were no soldiers left."

— "But Lucy, Astaroth, and Bensecame up with a great idea to avoiddefinitive death and gain time."

Frollam listened very attentively:

— "He sent a great legion of angels, our fastest brothers, to the Earth."

— "All directed towards the Gardens of Eden, trying to enter."

— "The mission was that, if God annihilated us, He would do itwith humanity."

— "If He annihilated us for the sin of rebellion, then we would take humans with us."

— "Perhaps this way God would have to, through the laws of heaven, delay the condemnation of the angels and worry abouthumanity."

— "And perhaps in humans."

— "To find… an ally."

— "No one succeeded, except one."

— "They managed to enter the Garden of Eden of the Euphrates River."

— "And for you to know, the one who fell was not Adam's wife, but the tenth generation of Adam."

— "They did not deceive a woman.Women were faithful, just like men."

— "The one who fell was a girl. Her name was Eva."

— "Named the same as grandmother Eva,the first woman taken from Adam's rib."

— "All were created from clay.Eva is not as they interpret her."

— "The little girl, Eva,only moved on all foursand could barely stand on two."

— "She was a tender creature. She had body, soul, and spirit."

— "She had been ordered not to touch the forbidden fruit."

— "The fruit was for a new era."

— "When humans are ready,to leave the gardens."

— "God would make them eat from this fruit."

— "But if they ate it prematurely, they would be corrupted forever."

— "In short, it was like giving wine to a newborn."

— "It would kill them, humanity was not ready for thefruit of knowledge."

— "But he managed to deceive herand, with the mistake of a little girl, condemned all humanity."

— "After that, they only gained us time.Lucy managed to escape, but the rest of the legions were capturedand sent to the abyss."

— "And those scattered across the universe,God had mercy and ordered that they not attack us,because we would wander the cosmos in condemnationuntil the day of the final judgment."

— "I thought I had lost everything, Frollam.I thought, for a moment, that I would see no other tragedy."

— "It hurts to remember… everything we suffered."
