[Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) POV.]
Barksdale AFB (Louisiana).
With a twist and the familiar crack sound, I loosened my grip as the soldier's body slumped to the ground lifeless.
I looked at the dead bodies surrounding me as the emergency red lights illuminated the now bloody control room.
'For a base that has nuclear weapons, this was too easy'.
"Very disappointing".
I walked slowly dragging the commander's cold body until I reached my target once I used his body to clean the blood from my sword, I then turned the corpse's head to me and with minimal difficulty pulled the right eye from its socket and with no care whatsoever I threw the corpse back saying.
"I wonder when the government will finally realize that using the eyes of those in command is not in fact a good method…..".
I placed the eyeball in front of the eye scanner as the AI voice answered.
"Scanning complete welcome back Commander".
I chuckled amused "They make it almost too easy".
As I pulled the USB from my small compartment while looking at it.
'Two hundred million in cash just to place this little cutie inside of here seems like Lex is about to do something stupid for all his genius he keeps positioning himself in terrible situations'.
As I plugged the USB and turned to leave.
"Time for my next mission after all can't allow the big capes to get the emergency signal until the toy is launched …. Let's hope it's far more enjoyable than this warm-up".
[Cpatain marvel /{Shazam} (Billy Batson) POV.]
(One hour later).
Superman got thrown to the side with supersonic speed after taking a punch meant for Aquaman and saving him in the process.
Hal made a green shield around him and Aquaman as The beast punched it with anger causing cracks to spread.
Wonder Woman injured but defiant leaped from beneath the rubble as she landed on the monster's back and used her rope to pull his head back she saying with anger.
"You shall harm none in my sight you foul beast"
With a snarl of anger, he held Wonder Woman's ankle and slammed her one the ground.
I slammed into the beast's side as I held his torso lightning in my eyes to get his attention away from Wonder Woman. Filled with all the anger and guilt from my last fight with this monster, I lifted the beast above me.
'You have hurt Flash and Pink I will never forgive you You will not hurt anyone else!'.
"SHAZAM!!".
In the next second the clear sky atop darkened as lightning crackled across the clouds before it obeyed the command of its Champion.
I watched as a huge lightning bolt crashed into the chest of that thing making it scream in a much more ugly and monstrous way than I remember but I won't be fooled this time he is strong he can survive it.
'With such great strength you used it to hurt my friends and attack those who have done you no harm.....Very well since you are so powerful don't blame me for what I will do'.
"SHAZAM!!".
"SHAZAM!!".
"SHAZAM!!".
Lightning kept raining down from the sky striking that thing repeatedly only for its ugly voice to keep roaring in anger.
Shazam!.
Superman calling my name stopped me from calling lightning once more but as I glanced at him to see him rushing at me with concern?.
I wasn't able to think much of it as pain exploded across my body. I looked down to see countless spikes had grown from that beast's back and torso and pierced my body from my arms to my chest and stomach It was bad I can tell.
I felt my mind work faster as the world around me blurred many memories started flooding from random things to me escaping one house after another repeatedly as it all played in my head I felt something grip my body as it carried me away but I couldn't make it out.
'Huh? Strange it's the summer isn't it?... Why is it suddenly cold?'.
[Superman (Clark Kent ) POV.]
I placed Captain Marvel's body in the ground as I looked at his state it was bad very bad.
Hal!. I turned to look at him and he gave one glance at Captain Marvel and nodded gravely at me saying
"Go Supes we can handle this freak for a while".
I spared a single glance at the ongoing fight Diana and Aquaman were holding on but barely.
"I will be back".
I didn't hesitate as I picked the captain's body and moved across the sky at superspeed.
It took a few seconds maybe more or less I didn't care to count my senses were focused on the faint heartbeat of my friend.
"It's alright Captain it's going to be all right just hang in there".
I didn't know if I was speaking to him or more to myself but it didn't matter as we arrived at the Arctic and a second or so later I stood in front of the gate of the Fortress of Solitude.
I moved at super speed as I placed him at the medbay and prepared everything necessary.
Once the treatment started I was able to let out a small sigh.
I would have preferred to be here for a little more to calm my heart but not now they need my help.
I walked with determined steps as I arrived at the phantom zone projector I picked it up with a determined grip ' time to end this matter'.
I picked it up and flew back.
The whole process took me about 20 or so minutes It was less of a necessity and more of me being worried about the captain.
Once I arrived I landed to see that now in addition to Wonder Woman Aquaman and Hal Captain Atom has also arrived but it didn't take much to notice how Aquaman and Hal are both on their last leg.
A quick use of X-ray vision confirmed it Hal had multiple fractures across his entire skeleton and Aquaman was in no better condition with a broken leg supporting himself using his trident.
I landed beside Hal as I looked at him saying "I need you to take Aquaman to the watchtower to take medical attention".
"What? You can not be serious! ".
"Aquaman can not help at the moment and I am needed here we will handle it Hal so go help Aquaman enough people have been hurt by this thing ".
I can tell he wanted to argue but thankfully one look at Aquaman made him see the truth in my words as he nodded.
.Sigh….Hal is a great man but he never stops trying even when he is outmatched a great hero trait to have but it makes convincing him to leave things to others very difficult thankfully I convinced him to take Aquaman to safety because if I asked him to step back since he was hurt it would have been like talking to a wall.….. Made from kryptonite with the personality of Batman '.
I focused back on the battle seeing Wonder Woman and Captain Atom being thrown aside like with a shockwave I moved at supersonic speed in front of their bodies with a deep breath I was preparing to find a way to send him to the Phantom Zone and be done with it.
"Superman." Batman's voice from my new earpiece cut through my thoughts as He continued "No time to explain I need you to bring that thing near orbit above Metropolis city meet me there!"
I hesitated for a second before deciding to try after all Batman would not ask that without reason.
I handed the Phantom Zone projector to Woman Woman as she gave me a nod.
I turned to that thing as I said "It seems I would have to throw you to orbit after all ".
[Batman (Bruce Wayne) POV.]
(ten minutes in the past)
I looked at the main screen as the entire watchtower was in chaos from discussions among the young heroes about wanting to help and many other small conversations.
But my mind was elsewhere
'This doesn't make sense something is missing '.
The fight of Superman with that thing has been going on for a while.….1(hour):30(minutes):33(seconds) since Superman started his battle with what the media is calling Doomsday.
And 50 minutes since Captain Marvel Wonder Woman Hal and Aquaman went to help.
The world was already aware of it yet something doesn't seem right.
Lex Luthor should be more than aware that unless he finds a magical lamp or something of equal magnitude that he would be thrown in prison for the rest of his life.
The amount of evidence that I have on him is enough to make even the president be dragged from his seat to jail like a dog if it goes public.
'Yet he has done nothing? Or has he? I narrowed my eyes at the monitor.
' I have made a mental profile for Lex a long time ago he likes to think that he is meant to lead humanity for a glorious purpose he is a genius to be sure but in a battle between geniuses the one with the most ego ends up being humiliated'.
'He will not let this distraction go he will do something to clean his name before the Justice League can turn its attention back to him….But the only way he could clear his name is if suddenly!...'
I cut my thought process as I changed the monitor to show S.T.A.R. Labs more specifically the central branch in Metropolis.
'If he wanted to even have a glimmer of hope of keeping his freedom then every single subject rescued from Cadmus facilities across the globe needs to be dealt with….'
With narrowed eyes, I changed the screen from
S.T.A.R. Labs to the entire of metropolis.…..As I hacked through LexCorp systems.
'He left the city an hour ago? For a meeting that wasn't even planned?'
'A coincidence? I think not'…..I was brought out of my thoughts as I looked at the monitor warning signal my fingers started moving on themselves as I found what exactly he planned.
My legs started moving on itself as I ignored everything in my way.
' LEX!! I may not kill him once I stop this but leaving him eating liquid for the rest of his pathetic life in a wheelchair is very acceptable '.
Once I reached the hangar I contacted Superman and informed him to meet me at orbit above Metropolis.
'Since they are sending me a gift I might as well use it '.
It took a single minute or so as Batman arrived at the hangar more accurately the Javelin-7,
{Starting emergency drop-in Three….Two….One}
As the Javelin-7 was released from the watchtower Batman controlled the ship and used the Earth's gravity to accelerate its descent the walls of the ship started to glow from the heat as some parts even began melting.
Batman's face didn't change during the entire ordeal he had a mission and his focus was on completing it anything else was secondary his own survival included.
As Javelin-7 finally reached the skies about a few kilometers away from Metropolis city Batman glanced at the ship radar confirming his target as the nuclear missile finally came into view.
He started guiding the ship closer and closer behind the missile his thoughts about destroying the nuke were all ignored after all he won't risk harm to the city on the horizon.
Thus with a determined grip, he kept closing in on the nuke and once he was within distance He activated the javelin's magnetic field to clamp onto the nuclear missile and started to steer it off course.
With a grunt, he pulled with all his strength as he started to guide the nuke and the ship back up to orbit..
The javelin-7 started shaking with Batman inside but it only made his grip grow stronger as he guided the weapon of mass destruction out of Earth's orbit.
Once the ship passed the clouds a roar was heard across the sky as Superman bloody with his left hand torn but unshaken with eyes burning red dragging a hulking monster broke through the clouds a few seconds later battling all the way up.
Once Superman's eyes locked on the ship he understood what he needed to do.
As Superman using his last strength threw Doomsday higher into the sky.
Batman didn't waste the chance and once he was sure the javelin-7 would hit the target he pressed the emergency ejection button as the now-empty ship carrying a weapon of mass destruction continued its way to Doomsday.
All the citizens of Metropolis witnessed a sun forming in the skies that was followed by a few seconds of silence as the shockwave of the explosion arrived.
Batman now small chamber was thrown by the force of the explosion making even Batman black out for a few seconds.
He felt something stop the uncontrollable descent as he opened his eyes seeing a bloodied Superman with a missing hand looking at him with amusement.
"Even though I told you we need to deal with that thing I had no idea you had taken my warning this seriously".
(A/N): Hello everyone hope you liked the chapter…..I decided to try the extra chapters with the power stones ideas so every 100 stones I will throw an extra chapter.…if anything more than two extra chapters happen….I may end up in trouble hahahaha and of course I would love to hear your opinion about this.… since I saw other fanfics doing it and decided to try it. Oh and don't use logic in this chapter.…. After all, we have a man who eats sunlight for breakfast logic was dead long ago.
