Chapter 34: In the Name of God ❤️❤️ — Let's Begin 💕💕
Back to the Moment of Encounter
Drake walks through the narrow tunnel, his footsteps echoing like death bells. Frozen blood on his hands drips like shards of shattered glass.
Drake (internally, voice resembling a child's scream):
"I'm not human... I'm a demon!"
He stops, leaning against the wall, speaking with deep sorrow:
"Mother... you were absolutely right. From the very beginning, I should've killed myself before I destroyed everything..."
He bites his lip in fury until blood flows.
"But I won't die alone..."
He laughs—a laugh so intense it makes the tunnel walls tremble, tears streaming down his face from the sheer force of his laughter.
Suddenly...
He hears a strange sound and moves closer.
— Three gang members stand at the tunnel's bend, behind them two young girls trembling like sparrows in a storm.
—One shoves Drake: "Deaf?! Get out of our way!"
—Another licks his dagger and mutters: "I think we should kill him..."
Silence... then—
— Drake slowly lifts his head, his eyes blazing.
—He aims arrows at them.
—Black arrows erupt from his shadow, piercing the attackers' chests in an instant, obliterating them as countless arrows shred every muscle in their bodies.
The men collapse like broken dolls... blood floods the ground, yet Drake stares at his hands in disgust:
Drake (voice broken, on the verge of madness):
"What did I expect? Everyone betrays... everyone runs away... their mistake..."
The girls flee, screaming... one stumbles, leaving her pink shoe behind in a pool of blood.
Drake picks up the shoe—his hand trembling.
"Why didn't I just kill them? There's no point in saving them... they'll die with me today anyway..."
Sadness clearly etched on his face.
Suddenly... his friend's voice echoes in his mind:
"Stay away—you're a demon..."
He shudders.
A woman sits on the ground, screaming angrily:
"Why didn't you die with your father?!"
He looks up at the tunnel's illusory sky and screams, violently banging his head to block out the voice:
"It's time to fix this mistake...!"
Then he smiles.
He drops the shoe. His hands ignite with a violet, magical energy... preparing to burn everything.
---
He exits the tunnel into a public garden filled with peach trees at sunset. Raising his hand, he summons terrifying giant arrows blazing in the sky above, ready to fall.
Drake (hoarse voice, heavy with centuries of pain):
"My Creator... this is how I'll end it all—just as it began. No life is worth living after today!"
Suddenly... a soft voice pierces through the chaos. His eyes widen.
Riman (appearing behind him out of nowhere, carrying heavy grocery bags, speaking with childish innocence):
"Ah, I'm so tired of carrying these bags! Fox, why won't you help me?"
The scene becomes surreal—the executioner stands on the edge of annihilation, while an angel of innocence talks about grocery bags.
Fox (dangling from her pocket like a golden pen, grumbling):
"We're not carrying food for those scum! They don't deserve it..."
Riman (cuts him off with a firm glance, unaware the city trembles beneath her feet):
"Everyone deserves food. Come on, get down from there!"
She suddenly notices his raised hand.
Riman (childishly amazed, as if oblivious to the tunnel's blood):
"Wow! You look just like the statues in the city square!"
Drake freezes. His eyes slowly turn toward her; his energy flickers around him.
Riman (steps closer, then suddenly shouts):
"Wait! Are you hurt? There's blood on your face!"
Drake is shocked by her scream.
Fox (groaning):
"Leave him alone—he's insane!"
But she ignores him and rushes down.
Riman (grabs Drake's hand and pulls him down):
"Come on, we need to treat that wound!"
Drake (surprised by her strength, shouts):
"Let go! What's it to you?! That's not even my blood!"
His hand nearly explodes—but Riman quickly pulls hers away.
Riman (examines the blood on his face carefully):
"All blood is red... and it's all important. You'll get anemia. Come on, let's go."
Drake (bitterly laughing, blood smearing his face):
"Go where? Can't you see I was about to kill you...?"
Riman doesn't answer.
Before he can finish, she yanks him under a solitary peach tree beside the ruins.
Drake (angrily): "Let go... can't you hear me...?"
He tries to pull away, almost making her fall—but catches her just in time, helping her regain balance.
Riman (tears a piece of her veil with her teeth):
"Sit here."
She begins gently wiping the blood from his face—movements precise as a surgeon's.
Drake (pulls back): "What are you doing?!"
Riman (determined):
"I'll treat you—then you can go destroy the city if you want."
Silence. Then...
Drake (gazes at his bloodstained hands, his energy fading, voice filled with anger):
"...Why... why do you care? And how did you even know?"
Riman lifts her head. Her eyes gleam beneath the peach tree in the sunset.
Riman (touches his wound gently):
"I know from your arrows in the sky—aimed at us, about to kill me moments ago."
She glances toward the menacing arrows still hovering above.
He realizes—she noticed them.
Riman slowly moves closer. Peach blossoms fall from her hair like droplets of light in the darkness.
Riman (soft voice, carrying wisdom beyond her years):
"Listen... Life is just fleeting moments. Maybe you didn't tell me—but your eyes reveal everything. You're exhausted... worn out... I don't know why, but don't let a moment of anger steal your humanity."
"...So I always say: 'Life isn't worth the pain—so rise and fight until the very end...'"
She stands up and smiles beautifully.
The wind whips through her long white hair as it flies with the sunset, peach blossoms swirling around them like butterflies.
Drake (reaches toward her face, then suddenly stops—his voice barely a whisper):
"Thank you... but why weren't you afraid of me?"
Riman (laughs, her crimson eyes sparkling):
"I'm the girl with white hair and red eyes—I'm strange. Who am I to fear your looks?"(Surprised)
Drake (blushes suddenly): "You're... beautiful." (He mutters softly—she doesn't hear.)
Riman: "What did you say...?"
Drake (embarrassed): "Nothing at all..."
Fox (grumbling from afar):
"Am I going to wait forever?!"
Riman (turns): "Sorry... I have to go."
Drake (grabs the edge of her sleeve):
"Can... can I see you again?"
Heavy silence. Then...
Riman (smiling, shakes her head):
"Sorry... I can't. People might misunderstand us..."
She leaves. The last peach blossoms fall where she stood.
Drake remains frozen like a statue, his outstretched hands holding a single peach blossom... utterly bewildered.
The sky remains filled with his arrows—but now Drake's eyes shine with a new light... the light of decisive resolve.
Drake (crushes the peach blossom gently in his fist—not with anger this time—his voice calm as a cold blade):
"...Truly... I no longer care what people think."
He walks down the road—his steps now firm, like an inevitable fate.
"If I'm a demon... then they're nothing but demons like me."
He laughs bitterly, remembering every face that betrayed him.
"I'll rise... I'll fight until the end."
He wipes the blood from his split lip with his thumb, then licks it—as if tasting the flavor of his own defiance.
"The whole world is against me? Good... that makes victory sweeter."
He summons his arrows to destroy his enemies—but this time,he raises them toward the sky—not as a threat, but as a promise.
"Stop..."
He halts the arrows that were about to obliterate the city.He laughs, then sprints—suddenly entering a fight with Riman in the present.
---
The main hall of the organization transforms into a silent battlefield. Everyone freezes in place—even the air grows heavy.
— Drake kneels before Riman, kissing her hand with a reverence that shakes the hall.
—Hundreds of his dark creatures bow behind him like a wave of shadows, creating a majestic, awe-inspiring scene.
Drake (voice steady, filled with strange sincerity):
"I swear to you... I'll remain loyal to you until death, my princess."
1. X (chokes on a piece of popcorn, face turning blue):
"Cough-cough... This... wasn't expected!"
2. Dalia (collapses to the floor in shock, eyes as wide as dinner plates):
"I... need a chair!"
3. Ather (presses his fingers to his forehead, muttering to himself):
"Ugh... Why does no one listen today?!"
— Sajjad jumps from his seat, sword in hand.
Grandfather (laughs teasingly):
"Sajjad, I never expected you to fight to protect your dignity..."
He turns around—only to find Sajjad already below.
Sajjad (smirking):
"You fool! Is this how you challenge someone?! You should've asked for a fair duel!"(Taunting him)
Drake (smiles coldly, eyes glowing):
"Believe it or not... I didn't plan this. But since you crave a fight—let's begin!"
Riman (sways slightly, eyes spinning like a roulette wheel):
"I... don't understand anything anymore! Am I dreaming?!"
Ather (moves to stop them)
— Grandfather Ziru (slowly claps, laughter filling the hall):
"Finally! Something entertaining happens!"
Ather (sighs):
"Alright... as you wish..."

Sajjad stands firm—his sword still sheathed, yet the air around him shimmers like desert heat. His eyes glow yellow, burning like the scorching sun.
Drake doesn't move, but his eyes flicker like two embers in the darkness.
Sajjad (calm voice masking stormy rage):
"Easy... If you'd just told me to fight you without all this pointless chatter, I would've understood."
—sarcastically.
Drake (doesn't look at Sajjad—his words are aimed at Riman behind him):
"I won't repeat myself... I was speaking to our future leader. You have nothing to do with this!"—harshly.
(He finally looks at Sajjad, jaw clenched so tight it seems ready to shatter.)
"But... your 'offer' won't go unrewarded."—smirking wickedly.
Dreed (shocked at first, then bursts into comical laughter):
"Seriously?! Is this jealousy?! Impossible, Sajjad...!"
He grabs his phone as if about to take a photo."This is a historic moment..."
—Suddenly, his phone shatters, struck by a toothpick thrown from afar.
Sajjad glares at Dreed and points his thumb toward his own neck—clearly threatening to kill him if he dares record.
Dreed (desperate, frozen in place):
"Grandpa, I hope you'll have mercy on me after I get out of here... because I won't survive this moment... Oh God, what have I done...?"
Grandfather Ziru (laughing heartily from his seat, coffee cup trembling in his hand):
"You shouldn't have interfered... Heh heh! Maybe we'll witness an amazing duel today!"—delighted.
Riman (steps forward, her calm voice cutting through the tension):
"Are you two really going to fight? I can explain to you, Sajjad... it was just a greeting!"
Sajjad (slowly turns his head toward her, eyes glowing like burning coals):
"I know... So, do you really expect me to stop just because you said so? He gave me my orders!"
(He gestures insultingly toward Drake with his hand.)
"And I hope you just leave this place!"
Drake (growls like a unleashed beast):
"Why should she leave? Let her stay... to witness your end!"
Sajjad (bursts into laughter, his sword gleaming like a wolf's fang):
"You're dreaming!"
[The deadly silence before the storm...]
Suddenly—like lightning!
Sajjad and Drake draw their weapons at the exact same instant...
The very air splits in two!
— Sajjad pulls his sword from a swirling black vortex—its blade humming with the wails of ghosts.
—Drake raises his hands to the sky—blue arrows born from his shadow ascend, soaring to the highest point above.
First strike:
Drake's arrows shoot forward like ravenous snakes—but Sajjad vanishes and reappears behind him in the blink of an eye,his sword slicing the air with a terrifying shriek!
Drake barely dodges with a swift sidestep—the sword nearly severs his arm—when suddenly a shadow behind him explodes!
Sajjad (laughing wildly):
"Cowardly rat! Is this your trick? Fighting from a distance?!"
Drake (explodes with rage, eyes transforming into two pits of blue flame):
"Fine... I won't run this time!"
(He draws a dagger from his own power—biting his finger to manifest a blade of flesh and blood that glows like a demon's shard!)
Ather (intervenes with the calm authority of a commander):
"Fight all you like... but don't destroy the arena. Alright?"
—His phone rings.
(He glances at Riman with a faint smile.)
"Your turn will come soon, Riman... You can sit for now."
He gestures to a seat in the arena.
Riman (suddenly turns, wide eyes sparkling with curiosity):
"Okay..."—in response to Ather.
"But... I have a question: Who exactly is Drake?"—genuinely surprised.
Dalia (laughing):
"He's the commander of the Aerial Battalions in the Organization... or rather, the strongest aerial commander to date!"
(Thinking to herself, smiling, eyes shining with joy):
"He once obliterated enemy battalions in two seconds back in the military... His aerial power is astonishing..."
"But they're fighting for you! What an incredible event!"
"Ugh, X, stop chewing already...!"—her inner thoughts filled with silent fury.
X (loudly chewing popcorn, leaning against the wall):
"I never expected them to start fighting this intensely—and with such madness!"
Dalia (reassuringly):
"Yes, but you know—Sajjad sees this as a personal challenge! He absolutely hates the Organization!"
—She crosses her right leg over her left.
X (pauses chewing for a moment):
"Even if Sajjad hates us, who cares? Let's enjoy it... Who do you think will win?"
Dalia (shakes her head, smiling):
"I don't know... Neither will win! They'll just destroy the place—that's what I believe."
X (laughs, tossing a popcorn kernel into the air):
"Hahahaha... This place is better than a cinema, honestly!"
Meanwhile, the two continue their brutal clash—
— Their collision shakes the earth, golden-black and violet-blue sparks erupting from their weapons.
—Every strike leaves cracks in reality itself! (The background distorts like shattered glass.)
Drake (voice broken between blows):
"You... scum! You don't even deserve to live near her!"
Sajjad (whispers in his ear as he traps him with rapid strikes):
"Oh? So you love her? How pitiful!"
"How can the once-feared aerial commander be humiliated by love for a child...?"—laughs mockingly.
(He presses Drake's dagger down with his sword's edge and flips away to dodge an incoming arrow.)
"Even if I burn with jealousy... she's mine now. Since the Organization is in her hands, I'll use every means to reach the Vault...!"
Drake (growls like a wounded beast):
"You're dreaming! You'll never reach the Vault... and you'll never lay a hand on her!"
Sajjad smiles—as if Drake just fell right into his trap.
Sajjad (in his thoughts):"He's walked straight into it..."
— Sajjad exploits Drake's moment of rage, spinning around him like a whirlwind—his sword nearly decapitating him! But...
—Drake dodges at the last second, sweat pouring from exhaustion. The blade only grazes his neck.
Drake (in his thoughts): "He almost got me..."
—He immediately fires an arrow straight toward Sajjad's heart!
Sajjad (looks at the arrow lodged in his chest—then laughs!):
"You know something...?"
(He points toward Riman in the corner—everyone had forgotten her during the battle!)
"You've just given me the greatest opportunity... through your own foolishness!"
Drake (blood dripping from his neck, shouting):
"That's why I hate you! You exploit everyone... even yourself!"
Sajjad feigns shock—then bursts into laughter as the arrow melts into smoke inside his body, leaving no injury.
"You? Didn't you exploit that innocent girl yourselves? You could've kept her out of your mess... but you dragged her into your filthy war!"
(He advances toward Drake, eyes gleaming with madness.)
"I do what I please... just like you do! The only difference is—I don't wear the mask of a hero like you do!"
Drake erupts with fury.
They clash again—violently, destructively—so fiercely the very ground trembles, the arena crumbling around them.
Grandfather (delighted):
"They're completely absorbed in battle... Isn't that right, Ather...?"
—He rests his hands on his cane.
Ather (bows respectfully):
"Grandfather, may I leave? An urgent matter has come up... One of the punished members has escaped the Organization..."
Grandfather (smiling warmly):
"How I've missed being called that! Now that you've returned to your true family, you truly see me as your lord... You may go."
Ather (exits—but his expression twists into rage):
"Clara... Where are you...? This time, I'll kill you..."
—He clenches his fist.
Riman (voice fragile, like broken glass):
"Drake... Sajjad... You're truly terrifying."
(She touches her chest in astonishment.)
Fox (shouting from her pocket, voice frantic as he stares at her hand):
"Riman! Are you okay?!"
Riman (looks at her trembling hands, then smiles—the smile of a lost child):
"I'm... okay. But... Fox, do you know?"
(She pauses—her eyes suddenly shimmering with unexpected longing.)
"Sometimes... I wish I could fly like them right now."
— They launch one final, decisive strike to end everything...
—but suddenly,Sajjad and Drake freeze—as if their blood turned to ice.
They both look at her...truly seeing her for the first time.
Riman (continues, as if speaking only to herself, eyes closed):
"If only I could fly... maybe I'd finally reach my freedom."
Suddenly—
Riman vomits black blood, gushing from her mouth like a poisoned waterfall.
A long, gleaming sword erupts from her chest—shining like moonlit snow.
