Chapter 179 - Chapter 179: Killing Mannoroth with a Spear

Boom!

The Rainbow Bridge landed, and Alpha Squad charged a demon army.

Boom!

Another Rainbow Bridge landed, and Huln Highmountain led the Tauren to appear behind that demon army, attacking it from both front and back.

Boom!

The third Rainbow Bridge landed among the demons, and a powerful cold burst forth, freezing all the demons into ice. Mejia, holding the tide stone, floated a few steps forward, confirmed there were no living demons, then used Flash to appear among another group of demons not far away. The enhanced Frost Nova was activated again, taking out another group of demons.

Boom—

One Rainbow Bridge after another, transporting one army after another, turned the demon's defenses into a sieve.

At this moment on the city wall, Tichondrius looked at the allied forces continuously being teleported into the city from outside, feeling helpless. He had never encountered this kind of attack before and had no idea how to respond.

Doom Lord Kazzak said, "The elves destroyed the Demon-Warding Crystal; they must be heading for the portal."

Tichondrius thought for a moment, "There are enough troops at the portal to hold off the elves, and now there are fewer and fewer resistance fighters outside the city, which is an opportunity to deal with the enemy. You go help Mannoroth; those tall animals must be dealt with."

Kazzak nodded, taking an army out of the city to support Mannoroth.

Agamaggan and Cenarius together were evenly matched with Mannoroth, but Kazzak's sudden addition immediately tilted the scales of war towards Mannoroth.

"You go deal with that mage; this wild boar is mine!"

Mannoroth sent Kazzak away, wanting to deal with Agamaggan alone.

Kazzak didn't care; attacking either Agamaggan or Cenarius was helping Mannoroth.

Cenarius looked at the immensely tall Kazzak coming towards him and felt an inexplicable fear. He quickly changed his target, summoning roots to entangle Kazzak.

Kazzak casually swung his sword, cutting the roots, and took a few quick steps forward, reaching Cenarius. He brought his sword down, and though Cenarius dodged, he was injured by stones kicked up by the greatsword.

Using nature energy to heal his wounds, Cenarius entangled with Kazzak. He fought while thinking of a strategy against the enemy.

But Mannoroth gave him no chance to think. Previously, with Cenarius distracting him, he and Agamaggan had been evenly matched. Now that Kazzak had tied up Cenarius, Mannoroth immediately used his full strength, swinging his spear to smash Agamaggan to the ground.

Agamaggan rolled on the ground and stood up again. Fear flashed in its eyes; it clearly knew it was no match for Mannoroth.

When rivals meet, the brave one wins. With one side's morale high and the other's heart filled with fear, the outcome was already decided.

Mannoroth raised his spear, condensing fel energy to attack Agamaggan. Then, while Agamaggan dodged, he charged, thrusting his spear into Agamaggan's belly.

Agamaggan howled, using its tusks to push Mannoroth away, then quickly used nature energy to heal its wound. Although it wasn't very good at healing, it was too severely injured; if it didn't heal, it would lose its combat ability.

Mannoroth looked down on Agamaggan, "You so-called spirits of nature are, at best, just a bunch of beasts. Never mind you, I've even killed demigods more powerful than you."

Agamaggan remained silent, vigilantly watching Mannoroth's every move.

Mannoroth sneered. Under an absolute disparity in strength, vigilance was useless.

He suddenly raised his front hooves, standing on his hind legs. His wings spread, and his spear condensed fel energy, launching a dive attack at Agamaggan.

Agamaggan was vigilant enough, but still couldn't dodge. The fel cannon blast injured its front leg, affecting its movements.

Mannoroth seized the opportunity to rush over, swinging his spear, attacking Agamaggan's vital points. Agamaggan desperately dodged, but was still critically wounded and fell to the ground.

"Agamaggan!"

Cenarius was anxious, and as a result of his distraction, Kazzak seized the opportunity and brought his sword down. Fortunately, Cenarius was quick to dodge, otherwise he would have been cleaved to death by Kazzak. Even so, a wound was still cut across Cenarius's waist.

"Hiss—"

Cenarius quickly used healing magic to control the injury. At this point, he was too preoccupied to care about Agamaggan.

On the city wall, Tichondrius curled his lips.

As long as these powerful animals were eliminated, the high-tier combat power of the resistance would only consist of the Dragon Legion in the sky. While the Dragon Legion was difficult to deal with because they flew, once they landed, Tichondrius had many ways to deal with them.

Mannoroth, with a ferocious expression, walked in front of Agamaggan, raising his spear with both hands, "Take one last look at this world! It will soon be destroyed, and you will step into death before it."

With that, the spear plunged down violently.

Agamaggan closed its eyes. It was severely wounded and utterly unable to resist this fatal blow.

Just then, a Rainbow rushed over, striking Mannoroth's spear. Mannoroth struggled to resist the impact of the Rainbow, with no strength left to kill Agamaggan.

"Hm?" Kazzak quickly turned his head, looking in the direction the Rainbow flew from. An elven mage was rapidly flying along the Rainbow.

"Gale?" Cenarius was astonished. He knew the eternal spear was powerful, but he never expected it to have such a use besides teleportation.

Agamaggan's expression changed, and hope of survival arose in its heart.

Kazzak forced Cenarius back with a sword and fired a Void Bolt at Gale. He always remembered his mission, which was to help Mannoroth.

The Void Bolt flew in front of Gale, but was blocked by Gale using Aggramar's Shield.

Gale gave Kazzak a cold look, then drove the power of Aggramar's Shield to attack him.

Kazzak was abruptly pushed back. He looked at Gale in surprise. Did this elf actually possess power exceeding a demigod?

Gale flew directly in front of Mannoroth, then flashed into mid-air and threw the eternal spear.

The eternal spear transformed into a Rainbow and plunged into Mannoroth's head.

Mannoroth stumbled back a few steps, his entire body's energy surged, tearing his body into pieces. Flames swept outwards, burning all nearby demons to death.

Agamaggan watched the flames sweep towards him and closed its eyes again. However, after waiting for a while, it didn't feel the flames touch it.

Opening its eyes, it saw Gale holding Aggramar's Shield, standing in front of him.

The flames extinguished, and Gale reached out to recall the eternal spear, "Lord Agamaggan, please return to the rear to rest and await news of our victory."

Saying that, he summoned the Rainbow Bridge.

In the blink of an eye, Agamaggan found himself within the barrier of Shaladrassil.

Shaladrassil directed nature energy to heal Agamaggan.
