Chapter 98 - I-Wizard

Returning to Osgiliath, Luke breathed a sigh of relief.

He had just sensed a terrifying power from Mordor heading towards Minas Morgul, knowing it was Sauron making his move. He immediately turned and teleported away without hesitation.

It's not shameful to run if you can't win, especially against a big boss like Sauron.

Not to mention, this time he not only completed the check-in but also successfully destroyed the fortress of Minas Morgul.

Without this fortress, Mordor would not be able to use it as a base to arbitrarily invade Gondor and other places.

Seeing Luke return, Arwen stepped forward with concern and carefully looked him over. "Luke, are you alright?"

Luke shook his head, a mischievous grin on his face. "I'm fine. It's Mordor that's in trouble. I burned Minas Morgul to the ground. Mordor shouldn't have the energy to invade Gondor for a while. I bet Sauron is furious right now!"

Not to mention, he also obtained the Room of Requirement design blueprints from checking in at Minas Morgul this time, which was a huge gain.

Minas Morgul was not too far from Osgiliath, and the terrifying Fiendfyre could be seen from Osgiliath.

So when Luke informed the defending general that Minas Morgul had been destroyed, the general of Gondor was overjoyed and immediately sent people to quickly relay the news back to the Capital of Gondor.

Ever since Minas Morgul was occupied by Mordor, Gondor had been in a passive state, even having to abandon the eastern district of Osgiliath and the entire Ithilien region east of the Anduin River.

Now that this fortress was destroyed, Gondor's pressure would sharply decrease. They wouldn't have to worry about the Mordor army from Minas Morgul pouring out and creating another crisis of being besieged.

Bidding farewell to the defending general, who had tried to keep them, Luke and Arwen once again departed in their carriage.

They traveled north along the main road, reaching the border between Gondor and Rohan.

This place was called Argonath. On both banks of the Anduin River stood two gigantic stone statues, representing the first rulers of Gondor, Kings Isildur and Anárion.

Their left hands were open outwards, their right hands held weapons, facing north in a warning posture, signaling enemies to stop.

Here, Luke checked in and obtained the manufacturing method for the Two-Way Mirror.

Crossing Argonath, they entered Rohan and continued north.

They passed the confluence of the Entwash River and the Anduin River.

The confluence here was unique; the Entwash River fanned out into seven tributaries at its lower end, flowing into the Anduin River and forming a beautiful and fertile alluvial plain.

When passing rivers that couldn't be driven through, the Pegasus pulling the carriage would spread its invisible wings, pulling the carriage to fly low over the river, making it look as if it were driving on the water.

They continued north along the Anduin River, arriving at the Falls of Rauros.

Due to the huge drop between the Emyn Muil and the plain below, the Anduin River rushed into a chasm, forming a spectacular waterfall nearly a thousand meters high. The roaring sound of the water could be heard even from a great distance.

Luke and Arwen drove their carriage to the base of the waterfall, admiring the magnificent Falls of Rauros.

The mist from the waterfall drifted, forming a giant rainbow under the sunlight, stretching across the chasm like a bridge.

After a brief stop at the waterfall, the Pegasus pulled the carriage over the falls, arriving at Nen Hithoel Lake above the waterfall.

Nen Hithoel Lake was formed as the waters of the Anduin River spread out after leaving the narrow valley of the Emyn Muil. It was perpetually shrouded in mist, hence its name, the Misty Lake.

The lake was beautiful. Luke and Arwen parked their carriage on the banks of the Parth Galen meadow, where they admired the scenery of the Misty Lake while studying the gains from their journey's check-ins.

Speaking of the Misty Lake, Luke couldn't help but recall that in the future War of the Ring, Boromir, the eldest son of the Regent of Gondor, would fall here while protecting the hobbits Merry and Pippin.

Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli held a boat funeral for him, placing his body and personal belongings on an Elven boat, which then drifted down the river and plunged over the waterfall.

However, due to the unique shipbuilding craftsmanship of the Elves, Boromir's funeral boat miraculously was not submerged by the waterfall but sailed over it, carrying him all the way into the sea. His younger brother, Faramir, witnessed this small boat in the lower reaches of the Anduin River.

Boromir's father was Denethor II, the current Regent of Gondor.

It was also because of Boromir's death that Denethor II was heartbroken and became passive in resisting the Mordor army. Ultimately, when his other son, Faramir, was gravely wounded and fell into a coma-like state, he chose to immolate himself.

After staying at the Misty Lake for half a day, Luke and Arwen continued their journey.

The Pegasus spread its wings, pulling the carriage, flying low over the river in the gorge until they reached Sarn Gebir.

Sarn Gebir is a Sindarin place name meaning "Stone Spikes." This stretch of rapids is several miles long, with spike-like rocks protruding, and the current is swift. No boat, day or night, can pass through safely.

After flying over the Sarn Gebir rapids, Luke and Arwen's carriage traveled north on the Brown Lands east of the Anduin River.

The Brown Lands were a desolate, uninhabited landscape, evoking a sense of "a lone smoke column in the vast desert, a round sun setting over the long river."

This place was once fertile. In ancient times, when Morgoth's darkness descended upon the north, the female Ents, the Entwives, crossed the Anduin River and cultivated gardens and fields in this land.

After Morgoth was overthrown, it became even more prosperous.

During breeding season, the male Ents would cross the Anduin River to meet the Entwives here.

However, in the War of the Last Alliance at the end of the Second Age, Sauron, to prevent the advance of the Last Alliance's army, implemented a scorched-earth policy, sending a large army to completely destroy this land, rendering it barren. From then on, it was called the Brown Lands.

For over three thousand years thereafter, it remained uninhabited and barren.

The Entwives who once lived here also vanished without a trace, leaving only male Ents, and their race could no longer reproduce.

Listening to Arwen slowly recounting these ancient histories, Luke looked at the boundless desolate land and couldn't help but feel pity for it.

Sauron truly committed atrocities; such a beautiful land was utterly destroyed, becoming a wasteland.

Such a flat plain, how wonderful it would be if it were used for farming.

Crossing the Brown Lands, they arrived at the southernmost tip of Mirkwood.

From here, they were very close to Lothlórien.

So the two crossed the Anduin River to the west, arriving in Lothlórien to visit Celeborn and Lady Galadriel.

Celeborn and Galadriel were very happy about their arrival.

After all, it was their first time visiting Lothlórien after their marriage, and Celeborn and Galadriel took it very seriously, specially holding a grand banquet that all the Elves of Lothlórien attended.

Arwen had lived in Lothlórien for a long time, so she had many good friends there.

Beautiful Elven maidens gathered around Arwen, curiously asking about the outside world. As she recounted the scenery and experiences of their journey, they all showed expressions of longing.

Luke likewise discussed the situation along the way with Celeborn, but their conversation focused more on the general state of affairs in various regions.

Upon hearing that Luke had burned Minas Morgul, Celeborn expressed his approval.

Gondor was an important force against Sauron's dark power. Reducing their resistance pressure and weakening a part of Mordor's strength was very beneficial for their fight against Sauron.

They stayed in Lothlórien for nearly a month before bidding farewell to Celeborn and Galadriel, then crossed the Anduin River and continued their journey north.

On their way north, they made a detour to visit Radagast, the Brown Wizard who lived in Mirkwood.

After a brief stop, they continued further north, past the Old Ford and the Old Mirkwood Road, arriving at Beorn's cottage.

Beorn was very welcoming of their arrival.

Beorn was now the ruler of the Anduin River valley, with his territory extending west to the foothills of the Misty Mountains, east to the edge of Mirkwood, north to north of Carrock, and south to south of the Old Mirkwood Road.

Moreover, he was no longer alone; while pursuing a group of Orcs in the Misty Mountains, he unexpectedly rescued a female shapeshifter, also of his kind.

The two fell in love at first sight and quickly became a couple. When they married, Luke was one of the few guests present.

Beorn now had a newborn son named Grimbeorn.

For this son, even the usually stern Beorn was filled with paternal affection, showing the silly smile of a doting father.

Luke looked at Grimbeorn, whose physique was sturdier than that of an average child, and couldn't help but feel fondness. He gifted him an alchemical locket made of mithril, which could automatically form a shield to block attacks in times of danger.

The locket also contained a permanently fixed space, as large as a house, which only the wearer could open.

Furthermore, it could slowly recover its magic power after being depleted, making it a reusable life-saving item.

"This is too precious! We cannot accept it!" Beorn, upon hearing the locket's functions, knew its value and quickly declined.

Luke, however, ignored Beorn and directly placed the locket around little Grimbeorn's neck. The locket immediately shrunk to a suitable size, appearing unobtrusive, and automatically recognized its owner, making it impossible for others to remove.

"This is for little Grimbeorn, not for you. Does little Grimbeorn like it?" Luke didn't even glance at Beorn, chuckling as he teased Grimbeorn.

Grimbeorn, as if recognizing its worth, tightly clutched the locket with his small hands and giggled happily.

Seeing this, Beorn no longer refused and thanked Luke.

Arwen also liked Grimbeorn very much and took out an Elven cloak to wrap around him, which could make him hidden and difficult to detect.

Seeing Arwen's fondness for children, Luke whispered intimately into her ear, "Look, Beorn already has a son. Why don't we try harder and strive to have a few children soon to liven up the castle?"

Arwen's cheeks immediately flushed crimson. She nervously glanced at Beorn's family across from them, then realized Luke was communicating telepathically, and gave him a rare glare.

To say such nonsense in front of others, wasn't he afraid of losing face?

After being warmly hosted by Beorn for three days, Luke and Arwen finally bid farewell to Beorn's family and set off again.

This time, Luke chose not to continue north but instead headed west, crossing the Misty Mountains to Rivendell.

The Misty Mountains were towering and rugged, and while the High Pass was one of the important routes connecting both sides of the Misty Mountains, it was clearly not suitable for carriages.

So, this time, Luke no longer chose to travel slowly on the ground but instead flew directly over the Misty Mountains.

Pegasus pulled the flying carriage through the High Pass and encountered a thunderstorm.

And unluckily, they once again ran into the Rock Giants who were playing by throwing stones.

The flying carriage at high altitude caught the interest of the Rock Giants. Their enormous rocky hands parted the clouds and reached for the carriage.

The Pegasus was so startled by the Rock Giants that it almost lost its steady flight, letting out frightened and anxious sounds, trying desperately to escape the Rock Giants' grasp.

Facing these mountain-like Rock Giants, Luke did not dare to be careless. He immediately left the carriage, transformed into his Obscurus form, and charged towards the Rock Giant's hand.

The black mist-like Obscurus successfully blocked the Rock Giant's massive hand reaching for the carriage and even pushed the hand away, causing the Rock Giant to stumble and fall onto the mountain.

He then shattered the Giant rocks thrown at the carriage and charged towards the heads of several Rock Giants.

With a crash, under the immense impact, the top-heavy Rock Giant fell backward, crashing heavily onto the mountain peak, causing a landslide.

Luke did not intend to kill these mischievous Rock Giants; he only wanted to drive them away.

Thus, a part of his Obscurus body rapidly extended into a long whip, which he heavily lashed across the Rock Giants.

Accompanied by the Rock Giants' pained howls, countless gravel fell from their bodies.

The Rock Giants initially tried to resist, but after several lashes from Luke's whip, they immediately began to cower and beg for mercy.

After driving the Rock Giants several hundred miles north, Luke finally stopped and transformed back into his human form.

He then reunited with Arwen and continued flying towards Rivendell.

Elrond was very happy about the arrival of Luke and Arwen. Seeing his daughter's happiness, he finally felt completely at ease.

This was his daughter's first visit home after marriage, so Elrond asked them to stay for a few more days.

Luke gladly agreed.

Aside from his dates with Arwen, he discussed the situation in Middle-earth with Elrond, trained with his two brothers-in-law, Elladan and Elrohir, or read books in the library.

In addition, Luke also took the time to create a pair of two-way mirrors.

The principle of making two-way mirrors was not complex; it was only considered precious in the magic world because the technique had been lost.

Luke gave one mirror to Elrond and the other to Arwen, so that they could talk at any time, no matter how far apart they were.

Elrond was very pleased with this gift, and his reluctance after his daughter's marriage was also eased.

However, what Luke was dissatisfied with about the two-way mirrors was that they could only communicate one-on-one, and not like video calls, where they could contact other two-way mirror owners or have a one-to-many function.

Regarding this, Luke thought he might try to improve it. If it were possible to make different two-way mirrors connect with each other, just like mobile phones.

Even like mobile phones in his previous life, not only capable of video calls but also leaving messages, forming a network—that would be an invention capable of changing all of Middle-earth.

Thinking this, Luke decided to brainstorm and explained his idea to Arwen, Elrond, Elladan, and Elrohir.

Everyone was very interested in the idea of such a two-way mirror, as currently, the only items in Middle-earth with such long-distance communication capabilities were the palantíri.

But palantíri were very precious and limited in number. There were only four known palantíri remaining, held by Luke, Gandalf, the Regent of Gondor, and Sauron, respectively.

However, if everyone had a two-way mirror that could contact others at any time, it would be enough to replace the palantíri and become a tool for long-distance communication.

Elrond truly lived up to his reputation as one of the wisest sages in Middle-earth; under his guidance and help, the research on the Two-Way Mirror progressed at a rapid pace.

Moreover, Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen all participated, offering their wisdom and inspiration.

Luke also drew inspiration from the Floo Network's functionality, deciding to establish a 'magic Web,' similar to the internet of his previous life, using the Two-Way Mirror as a terminal to create a magical network covering all terminals, thereby allowing different Two-Way Mirrors to connect with each other.

Furthermore, Luke used the resurrection stone ring to summon Fëanor, the creator of the palantír, and integrated a portion of the palantír's abilities into the Two-Way Mirror.

After a month of collaborative research, a brand-new Two-Way Mirror was born.

On Luke's workbench, a row of palm-sized mirrors was neatly arranged. The mirrors were made of glass, with a layer of mithril coated on the back, reflecting images with incredible clarity, every detail perfectly rendered.

The mirrors were set in gold or silver frames, exquisitely crafted, like meticulously made works of art.

Luke picked up a mirror and softly called into it, "Mirror, Mirror, connect me to Arwen."

"Yes, Master," a cartoon-like baby dragon appeared in the mirror.

The next second, Arwen's beautiful face appeared in the mirror.

"Luke, you've finished?"

Luke nodded, saying with a hint of pride, "It's finished. The Two-Way Mirror technology is mature. Not only can it connect one-on-one and one-to-many, but it can also save images, text, and sounds in the mirror for personal viewing, or transmit them to the magic Web for others to view and discuss."

There were other functions that Luke couldn't enumerate all at once, but with his improvements, this Two-Way Mirror was now indistinguishable from the smartphones of his previous life.

It was even superior to a smartphone.

Because these mirrors all had mirror spirits, like the cartoon baby dragon that appeared in the mirror just now, which possessed intelligence. As long as the owner gave a command, it could handle everything, like a little housekeeper living in the mirror and the magical network.

Arwen, on the other side of the mirror, heard Luke's words and curiously came to his workshop.

Looking at the row of Two-Way Mirrors, although she already knew Luke would succeed, she couldn't help but exclaim in admiration and feel proud of her husband.

"Luke, you are truly amazing! I think this Two-Way Mirror is another invention no less significant than the Floo Network," Arwen said to Luke with adoring eyes. "If it were to be spread out, allowing people in every part of Middle-earth to own a Two-Way Mirror, this would surely bring about earth-shattering changes to Middle-earth."

Arwen's admiration was very pleasing to Luke, but he still shook his head, saying with some regret:

"It's not easy to popularize the Two-Way Mirror. Each mirror needs to be handmade by me, and making a large number of mirrors is not easy, unless we can research mass production methods in the future."

He had only made 10 mirrors in a month, plus the Two-Way Mirrors he had previously given to Arwen and Elrond, making a total of only 12 improved ones.

"You've already done very well. We still have a lot of time and there's no need to rush. There will always be a way," Arwen encouraged him gently.

Then her gaze fell upon a large, golden mirror standing upright nearby.

"Luke, what is this?"

"This is the Master Mirror, the central core of all mirrors, storing all mirror information and data, and also the hub for all mirror interactions. With it, all mirrors can connect with each other and share text, images, sound, and other information," Luke explained.

Of course, what he didn't mention was that this Master Mirror also had the ability to monitor other mirrors and locate them.

There was always a 'what if', and Luke was also preparing for a future where the Two-Way Mirror might be exploited; in such a case, he could directly block or cut off the signal of a specific Two-Way Mirror through the Master Mirror, rendering it useless.

He could also listen in on the communication information of other Two-Way Mirrors through the Master Mirror.

Speaking of which, this Master Mirror was what he had spent the most time and effort on during that month.

It was essentially no different from the central server of the internet, and it was also the core of the magical network Luke planned to establish.

After the first batch of Two-Way Mirrors was made, Luke considered who to send them to.

Elrond and Arwen already had Two-Way Mirrors, so among the remaining people, his brothers-in-law Elladan and Elrohir were essential, and Arwen's grandparents Galadriel and Celeborn also needed to receive them.

Bilbo and Gandalf could not be forgotten either.

His subordinates, Mayor Luke and Lucky, as well as the chieftain of the Blacklanders, Brog, also needed Two-Way Mirrors for constant contact and communication.

That already made nine people.

And there were only ten mirrors in total, leaving friends like Beorn the Skin-changer, the Elven Prince Legolas, and the Dwarf Lord Balin, who could not be forgotten.

Not to mention considering strategic allies, such as the two Blue Wizards of the Far East, Rómestámo and Morinehtar, the Brown Wizard Radagast, Bard the Lord of Lake-town, Thorin the King Under the Mountain, Thengel the King of Rohan, and the Regent of Gondor, all needed to receive them.

Considering these, Luke spent another month making thirty mirrors.

He then sent these mirrors via owl messengers to their recipients across Middle-earth… As for the nearby Shire, at noon, Bilbo was preparing lunch in the kitchen.

As he was frying sausages, he suddenly heard a knocking sound at the window.

He peered out the window in confusion and was surprised to see a large snowy owl standing outside, pecking at the windowpane with its sharp beak, as if knocking on a door.

Seeing the snowy owl, Bilbo was quite surprised.

He remembered this was Luke's owl messenger, kept in the castle tower. How did it come to him?

Could it be that Luke had sent him a letter?

He quickly stopped what he was doing, opened the door of Bag End, and looked at the snowy owl perched by the window.

"Little fellow, did Luke send you?" Bilbo asked softly, looking at the pure white snowy owl.

"Hoo hoo!" The snowy owl nodded human-like, then lifted one of its legs.

Only then did Bilbo notice a small black cloth bag tied to the snowy owl's leg.

Seeing the small cloth bag, Bilbo reached out to untie it from the snowy owl's leg. He held it in his hand and felt it was somewhat heavy, a hard object.

"This isn't a letter? What is it?" Bilbo asked, feeling a bit confused and curious.

But before he could open the small cloth bag, the snowy owl next to him hooted to remind him, its eyes fixed on the direction of the kitchen, its meaning very clear.

Bilbo suddenly realized, and said somewhat apologetically, "Sorry, you've traveled a long way, you must be starving."

Saying that, he put away the small cloth bag, immediately turned and ran into the kitchen, brought out two freshly fried sausages on a plate, along with a glass of milk, and placed them in front of the snowy owl.

The snowy owl gave a look that seemed to say, 'You're sensible,' and then began to enjoy the delicious sausages.

Bilbo chuckled, watching the snowy owl, not feeling the slightest regret that his lunch was being eaten.

Then he remembered the small cloth bag again, pulled it out of his pocket, and poured out its contents.

"This is… a mirror?" Bilbo looked at the palm-sized mirror, a little confused.

The mirror looked clear, set in a small, exquisitely crafted golden frame.

But why would Luke give him a small mirror? Bilbo was very curious.

As he brought the mirror closer to his face and examined it carefully, a cartoon yellow baby dragon appeared in the previously crystal-clear mirror.

"Hello, Master. Please bind your identity first and complete the identity verification to better use the mirror," the mirror reminded him with a voice.

Bilbo was startled, almost dropping the mirror, and asked with a shocked expression, "You, what are you?"

"I am your mirror housekeeper, responsible for assisting you, Master, in remotely contacting other mirrors... and I can help you with many other things!" the baby dragon introduced himself in a detailed, human-like manner.

Understanding the mirror's capabilities, Bilbo's mouth instantly fell open. "You mean I can use this mirror to contact others who also have mirrors?"

The little baby dragon in the mirror nodded.

"Yes, but before that, Master, you need to pass identity verification and bind this mirror."

"Identity verification? How do I verify?"

"Just follow my prompts... Please place your entire face within the mirror's range... Please nod... Please blink..."

Bilbo, a bit foolishly, followed the baby dragon's prompts, making expressions and movements step by step.

"Verification complete! Congratulations, Master, you completely own this mirror!" the baby dragon said proudly. "From now on, no one else can use this mirror without your permission! Also, if you don't like my current skin, you can change to a new image."

"New image? What other kinds are there?" Bilbo couldn't help but ask curiously.

The little baby dragon on the mirror surface instantly transformed into a chubby little bird surrounded by small lightning bolts, and introduced, "This is the Thunderbird image."

Then it transformed into a cool little green snake wearing sunglasses. "This is the Basilisk image."

Then it turned into a small octopus with bared teeth and claws. "This is the Giant Octopus image."

"There are also Pegasus, Griffin, Cerberus, Hippogriff..." The mirror spirit continuously changed into several other images.

"Of course, Master, if you are still not satisfied, there are also Elf, Orc, Troll, Warg, Ringwraiths, Sauron images... If all else fails, you can even design a new image yourself."

"Wait, you mean you also have a Sauron image?!" Bilbo felt he had misheard, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"Of course, I'll show it to you now!" The mirror spirit patted its chest to assure him, then transformed into a cartoon dark shadow, with a burning fiery eye behind it, and its voice became cold and comical.

"Master, what do you think? If you like this image, I'll set this skin."

Bilbo shivered directly and quickly shook his head wildly: "No, no, no! I still think the dragon image is the best!"

He would be crazy to like this Sauron image. He wondered what Luke was thinking to design such an image.

Hearing Bilbo's answer, the mirror spirit instantly reverted to the baby dragon image and said proudly, "Master, your aesthetic is good. I also like this skin the most, which is why I chose it from the beginning."

After selecting the skin, the mirror spirit asked again, "Master, would you like to contact Lord Luke now?"

"Contact him," Bilbo nodded somewhat impatiently.

The little baby dragon immediately turned around and vigorously knocked on a mirror-within-a-mirror that had appeared. "Hey, hey, hey! Number 3, open the door quickly! My Master, Mr. Bilbo Baggins, wants to video call with Lord Luke!"

Another golden baby dragon immediately appeared in the mirror, poking half its body out of the mirror and giving the yellow baby dragon a hard punch, making its eyes see stars (it really saw stars).

"Why are you rushing? If you smash the screen, will you pay for it? And my Master is currently on a call with someone else, so wait!"

Looking at the little baby dragon sprawled on the ground with its tongue out, and then at the irritable little golden dragon, Bilbo couldn't help but shrink his head.

It seemed not all mirror spirits were so easy to talk to.

Bilbo didn't have to wait long. The mirror-within-a-mirror instantly enlarged, merging with the outer mirror. Both little baby dragons disappeared, and Luke's smiling face appeared on the mirror surface.

"Long time no see, Bilbo. This time I'm giving you a two-way mirror. You can use it to contact me, or Gandalf, or Balin at any time. If we're busy and can't connect, you can also leave a message, and the mirror spirit will notify us then."

"This is amazing! Luke, thank you for the gift!" Bilbo said very happily.

He felt that taking in Luke and Luke becoming his friend was the most correct and fortunate thing in his life.

He had not only experienced a great adventure but also witnessed many magical things.

He also didn't feel that the gift was too expensive to accept, as he had already been given the elixir of immortality before, which added a full ten years to his life after consumption, and he wouldn't age during those ten years.

Moreover, Luke had also said that he would give him a bottle of the elixir of immortality on his birthday every ten years from then on.

Compared to the elixir of immortality, this mirror, though valuable, seemed insignificant.

So, he could only keep countless words of gratitude in his heart.

The two chatted for a while and then ended their call.

Especially Luke, after the other mirrors were delivered to their intended recipients, calls started coming in one after another to him.

Like Bilbo, owl messengers, one by one, set off from Hogwarts Castle, flying to all corners of the world.

Lothlórien, Mirkwood, Dale, Erebor, Moria, Rohan, Gondor, and so on, all received gifts brought by owls.

Under the guidance of the mirror spirits, everyone understood the functions of the mirrors.

Gandalf, who was wandering in the Enedwaith region south of Eriador on his horse, Shadowfax, received the mirror and immediately began to play with it happily and with great interest, chatting with the mirror spirit inside for quite some time.

Then he set the mirror spirit's image to a dynamic skin, changing to a new one every day, ensuring no repetition and a sense of freshness.

He also accepted the Sauron image in the skins well.

During his call with Luke, he somewhat gloatingly said that if Sauron knew, he would surely be half-dead with anger.

Others who received the gifts also set various different skin images.

Legolas, for example, set the mirror spirit's skin to a Thunderbird; the skin-changer Beorn set it to Cerberus.

The Dwarf Lord Balin had a unique taste, setting it to an Orc skin, and enjoyed hearing the mirror spirit, in the image of the Orc King Azog, call him Master.

After setting their skins, everyone immediately thanked Luke and expressed their love for the gift.

As everyone slowly explored and became familiar with the functions of the two-way mirror, they became even more immersed when they saw that the mirror also had features like messaging, group creation, and sharing.

The Dwarf Balin directly became a king of promotion, sharing various scenes from Moria, such as mining mithril and holding banquets, on the magic network to gain likes from others.

Others also followed suit. Beorn directly transformed himself into a giant bear and recorded scenes of fighting Orc squads in the Misty Mountains.

King Thengel of Rohan uploaded scenes of himself riding a horse, leading cavalry in pursuit of prey on the plains.

Denethor II, the Regent of Gondor, stood on the highest White Tower and captured the magnificent sight of Minas Tirith... The originally blank magic network gradually became lively, filled with various information, messages, and images.

Because of the mirrors, many people who were originally strangers began to connect with each other.

For example, the Regent of Gondor and Lord Balin of Moria met on the "magic Web" and even struck a deal: Gondor planned to import mithril from Moria to forge the sharpest and hardest weapons.

While the magic Web was buzzing with activity, Luke began to prepare for another matter.

He summoned his butler, Edward, looking at the young man who had already come of age, possessed a steady demeanor, and managed the castle impeccably.

He directly asked, "Edward, do you want to become a Wizard?"
